      World Trigger the Stage: Large-Scale Invasion Arc is set to be performed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball in Tokyo from August 5 to 14, 2022, and at the Kyoto-Gekijo theater in Kyoto from August 19 to 21. Its story is based on the manga's fourth arc of the same name. After advance sales from may 13 to June 19, general sales of the tickets will begin on July 2.

Pîtâ in Funeral Parade of Roses (Toshio Matsumoto, 1969) Cast: Pîtâ, Osamu Ogasawara, Yoshio Tsuchiya, Toyosaburo Uchiyama, Don Madrid, Emiko Azuma, Yoshimi Jo, Koichi Nakamura, Flamenco Umeji, Saako Oota, Taro Manji, Mikio Shibayama, Wataru Hikonagi, Fuchisumi Gomi, Chieko Kobayashi, Yo Sato, Keiichi Takanaga. Screenplay: Toshio Matsumoto. Cinematography: Tatsuo Suzuki. Art direction: Setsu Asakura. Film editing: Toshie Iwasa. Music: Joji Yuasa. Toshio Matsumoto's Funeral Parade of Roses both participates in and parodies the late-1960s avant-garde "underground" film movement, with its reliance on eccentric cuts and random inserts. There's a scene in which the filmmakers are shooting a badly tuned television set, and keep fiddling with the set to get the kind of distorted image they want. And at one point someone quotes the avant-garde filmmaker Jonas Mekas -- and then gets his name wrong, calling him "Menas Jokas." Matsumoto's film keeps the viewer off-balance at all times, moving in and out of what we take to be "reality" to expose that it's all moviemaking. There is, for example, a scene in which the cross-dressing protagonist, Eddie ( Pîtâ), and a Black man, Tony (Don Madrid), seem to be having sex, with lots of pornographic gasping and facial contortions. But then the camera angle shifts and we see that there's a camera crew surrounding the bed where Tony is propped up by himself on the headboard while the camera is focused on the face of Eddie, simulating ecstasy. Even the main story of the film gets its distancing when we cut to the actor who plays Eddie, Pîtâ (or Peter, as the English language screen credits have it), being interviewed about the role he's playing. It's much like his own life, he says, except for the incest part. At this point in the film, we don't know about the incest part, which precipitates the crisis in Eddie's life. Suffice it to say that Matsumoto based a large part of the film on Oedipus Rex. The central story deals with the rivalry between Eddie and Leda (Osamu Ogasawara), the "Madame" of a club that caters to salarymen who want to sleep with gei boi, for the affections of Gonda (Yoshio Tsuchiya), a man who turns out to have more significance in Eddie's life than is at first apparent. There are some longueurs in Matsumoto's film, mostly having to do with the avant-garde sequences but also with a too-long drugged-out orgy scene. (Other people's orgies are invariably boring.) But there are some genuine shocks and some real emotion in the film, and the performance by Pîtâ -- best known as the androgynous Kyoami, the analogue to the Fool in Ran (1985), Akira Kurosawa's reworking of King Lear -- is outstanding.

World Trigger to Get Its First Stage Play Adaptation in Nov-Dec 2021

    It is officially announced in the latest April 2021 issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine today that "World Trigger the Stage," a stage play adaptation of Daisuke Ashihara's sci-fi action manga World Trigger, is scheduled to be performed in Tokyo and Osaka from November to December 2021.

  The catchphrases for the play are "A vivid science fiction action drama unfolds on the long-awaited stage!" and "Witness the stage of a new dimension." Norihito Nakayashiki, known for his writing works for the successful stage play series Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyu!! from 2015 to 2021, serves as the writer/director.

  The main four cast members are announced as below:

El dúo After the Rain se une al reparto del Anime ‘Atom The Beginning' como voces invitadas

El dúo también interpreta el tema de opening de la serie. 

La web oficial del Anime para televisión adaptación del Manga Atom The Beginning de Tetsuro Kasahara, ha anunciado que Soraru y Mafumafu, los dis miembros del dúo musical After the Rain, se unirán al reparto del cuarto episodio la serie como personajes invitados. 

After the Rain también interpreta el tamaa musical de opening del Anime titulado "Kaidoku Funou". El Anime se estrenó el pasado 15 de abril.

La historia del Anime se ubica en Japón después de una gran calamidad, había dos genios que soñaban con el futuro. Uno era Umatarou Tenma. El otro era Hiroshi Ochanomizu. Los dos trabajaron día y noche en la investigación de robots - Tenma para crear a un "dios", y Ochanomizu para crear a un "amigo". Así, el robot, A106, nació de su amistad colaborativa. ¿Se convertiría realmente A106 en un dios o en un amigo? El joven y brillante dúo vislumbró el futuro inminente... 

Yoshino Nanjou se encarga de interpretar el tema de ending de la serie titulado “Hikari no Hajimari”.

Kasahara lanzó el Manga original en la revista en Diciembre del 2014 como una precuela del Manga Astro Boy (Tetsuwan Atom) de Osamu Tezuka. Makoto Tezuka, el hijo del autor del Manga original Osamu Tezuka, esta encargado de la supervisión editorial del Manga precuela, y la serie es una colaboración con Tezuka Productions. Masami Yuuki (Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor, Tetsuwan Birdy) esta acreditado con las “obras conceptuales” de la serie.

El Manga original cuenta la historia de que fue lo que sucedió antes del nacimiento de Astro Boy, y es considerado un "episodio cero" en la historia.

El Manga Rideback de Kasahara inspiro un Anime para televisión en 2009. Kasahara esta también serializando el Manga Full Metal Panic! 0 en la revista Monthly Dragon Age de Kadokawa.
