Get Back Up Again â VoicePlay music video
youtube
Most people will never undertake an arduous journey to save an entire community. But whether the task is large or small, everyone needs a little pep talk now and then. VoicePlay took this energetic anthem of self-motivation, added some extra harmonies, and put their own entertaining spin on it. Give it a listen and let them lift your mood.
Details:
title: Get Back Up Again
original performer: Anna Kendrick as Princess Poppy in Trolls (2016)
written by: Benj Pasek & Justin Paul
arranged by: Layne Stein
release date: 10 May 2018
My favorite bits:
recreating the Dreamworks fanfare with their adorable animated avatars sitting on the VP logo, particularly the harmonized â« "Ta-da!" â«
Earl's vulnerable tone on his opening lines
the peppy major harmonies for â« "It's gonna be a fantastic day." â«
that quick little bell chord on â« "gonna sing" â«
âš glitter farts âš as part of the group percussion line
the back row's little plucked guitar line behind Geoff's lead
the exaggerated auto-tune on J.None's solo riff, in keeping with the movie character
those subtle bass slides Geoff does underneath
Eli's clear, cheerful tone for his lead section
Earl and J doing little shoulder bounces to go with their stacatto harmony line
â« "I'm really really really gonna be OKAY!" â« "Heeey." â«
Layne's deep ingressive "Yeah!" transitioning out of the bridge
Eli's nervous â« "The bergens are coming" â« counterpoint
the camera shake timed to Earl and Layne's â« "knock knock" â«
"Hug time!" "Hug time!" "Hug time is my favorite!"
Earl's silly "Hello!" with the spider in the outro
that sneaky snippet of "In the Hall of the Mountain King" as a coda during the end screen
Trivia:
The guys' animated troll avatars were drawn by artist Leon King. Both the art and VoicePlay's wardrobe were inspired by the characters in the original movie.
The stuffed worm that Geoff holds is named Mr. Dinkles, and is the beloved pet of Biggie. On the few occasions in the Trolls movies when he says anything other than "mew", he speaks in a surprisingly bassy voice.
That final excerpt from "In the Hall of the Mountain King" (an orchestral piece about trolls from Norse mythology) was included in the movie as a repeated motif in "Hair Up". Layne eventually created a full a cappella version of "Mountain King" for VoicePlay four years later.
This video was filmed at Studio One in Orlando, a new location for the group.
In addition to her usual role as production manager, Kathy Castellucci is also credited as "puppet master", with assistance from Hayley Cohen, Rek Dunn, and Nick Perez. Those plush bugs don't fly on their own, after all.
The YouTube description goof for this video is a simple, "Shhhhh⊠Candace BergensâŠ"
Layne's rhythmic stomping and accompanying antics during on-set rehearsals made J.None crack up.
instagram
Layne posted a snippet of his editing process on Instagram while the guys were on the road as a teaser for the full video.
instagram
They even made a dedicated teaser clip for this one. (Check out those lucious chords!)
instagram
This track was later included on VoicePlay's "Citrus" album, which compiled most of the songs they recorded from 2017-19. Because the individual songs had already been made available digitally, that album is exclusively a physical item that can only be purchased at live shows or through their website.

Supporters of #NoHostageLeftBehind Open Letter to Joe Biden - Part 1/2
The letter consists of lies, no mention of Palestinian genocides, and a call for ceasefire.
Read the full letter:
Dear President Biden,
We are heartened by Friday's release of the two American hostages, Judith Ranaan and her daughter Natalie Ranaan [Raanan] and by today's release of two Israelis, Nurit Cooper and Yocheved Lifshitz, whose husbands remain in captivity.
But our relief is tempered by our overwhelming concern that 220 innocent people, including 30 children, remain captive by terrorists, threatened with torture and death. They were taken by Hamas in the savage massacre of October 7, where over 1,400 Israelis were slaughteredâwomen raped, families burned alive, and infants beheaded.
Thank you for your unshakable moral conviction, leadership, and support for the Jewish people, who have been terrorized by Hamas since the group's founding over 35 years ago, and for the Palestinians, who have also been terrorized, oppressed, and victimized by Hamas for the last 17 years that the group has been governing Gaza.
We all want the same thing: Freedom for Israelis and Palestinians to live side by side in peace. Freedom from the brutal violence spread by Hamas. And most urgently, in this moment, freedom for the hostages.
We urge everyone to not rest until all hostages are released. No hostage can be left behind. Whether American, Argentinian, Australian, Azerbaijani, Brazilian, British, Canadian, Chilean, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Eritrean, Filipino, French, German, Indian, Israeli, Italian, Kazakh, Mexican, Panamanian, Paraguayan, Peruvian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, South African, Spanish, Sri Lankan, Thai, Ukrainian, Uzbekistani or otherwise, we need to bring them home.

Peste & Sida - "Paulinha" - Live 1989
A banda começa a dar muitos espectåculos e faz as primeiras partes dos ingleses P.I.L.

here's the rough draft of the mcr vs lord huron compare/contrast essay i'm doing for a college class bc i can't be stopped
it's under the read more, also i'm tagging the people who said in the tags of my last post about this that they'd like to read it, thanks for encouraging my chaos. enjoy :)
There are many bands and musicians in the world. Because of this, there is bound to be some overlap and similarities between artists eventually. But while this is usually confined to artists of similar genres, occasionally there will be two bands from completely different scenes who are remarkably similar. My Chemical Romance and Lord Huron are two such bands. Quite popular within their own circles, but scarcely heard of beyond pop culture references outside of their fanbases, both have somehow filled the same oddly specific musical and cultural niche while never once interacting.
One similarity they share is their origins, specifically of their respective founders. My Chemical Romance was founded in 2001 by New Jersey native Gerard Way, and Lord Huron was founded nine years later in 2010 by the Michigan-born Ben Schneider. Both dabbled in music from a young age, and eventually moved on to be educated as visual artists, something both would use later in the creation of album art and supplemental media for their music. Eventually, both ended up following their dreams of creating bands, with Way creating My Chemical Romance in response to witnessing the 9/11 attacks and Schneider forming Lord Huron simply because it was something he felt he needed to do.
A major difference between the two is their genre of choice. My Chemical Romance is a star of the alternative rock scene, with their heavy instrumentals and dramatic vocals, and has a sound and aesthetic inspired by the works of bands such as Queen, Misfits, Black Flags, The Smiths, and Ramones (La Bella, 2008). Lord Huron brightly contrasts that, with their classic indie folk twang and layered acoustics influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Kate Bush (Orlando, 2022). The closest they ever come in music style is Lord Huronâs third studio album Vide Noir, a vivid departure from their previous folk sound for a heavier, distinctively eerie and distorted garage rock vibe.
Likely the most striking similarity for their fans, both bands are well-known for their extensively narrative-driven concept albums, something which by itself could warrant its own essay. Both bands use their music to tell stories, with each having a surface-level meaning along with a deeper purpose within the overarching plot of an album, as opaque and those plots can sometimes be. My Chemical Romance tells fairly explicit tales, with the doomed murderous duo in I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, the revenge-fueled mission to save a lost lover (likely the same from Bullets) in Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, a cancer patientâs life, death, and subsequent trip to Hell in The Black Parade, and the Killjoysâ resistance against Better Living Industries in Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys. Lord Huron, while having equally rich narratives, are much more vague with their storytelling. Lonesome Dreams tells of a man wandering the world alone, Strange Trails starts with a fast-paced and jaunty gang tale before diving into supernatural themes bordering on cryptid horror, Vide Noir is a bleak and psychotic search for a lost love influenced by drugs and cosmic horrors, and Long Lost seems to be the songs of radio ghosts who maybe donât quite realize theyâre ghosts. Both artists also have companion material for at least one album each, with the story of Danger Days continued through Wayâs comic series Killjoys, and Lord Huron recently revealing the full story of Vide Noir with a feature-length film by the same name. Fans of both artists revel in analyzing every video, lyric, and promo piece for details on these stories, and it is the double meanings in their songs that keep many fans coming back for more.
Speaking of these double meanings, another major similarity the bands show is the themes often used in their songs. While their approaches may differ, both bands have one overarching theme that permeates most of their songs: death. My Chemical Romance approaches death from several angles: as a terrifying thing to fight against, and as something to ultimately be embraced. The best example of this is the narrative of The Black Parade, with almost the entire album beingdedicated to the experience and processing of death by the main character, known as the Patient. This is most apparent in the songs The End, Dead!, Cancer, and Famous Last Words. Lord Huron approaches this topic in a similar fashion, with death, as well as oneâs memory fading and disappearing, cast as a somber inevitability. This is something the POV of a song is either avoiding (The Man Who Lives Forever, The Yawning Grave, Ancient Names (Parts I and II), and Not Dead Yet) or actively accepting and/or anticipating (The Ghost On The Shore, The Birds Are Singing At Night, Until The Night Turns, Way Out There, Wait By The River, and What Do It Mean). Schneider also adds a third angle, the horror of dying and coming back. This is explored most in the albums Strange Trails and Vide Noir, with songs like The World Ender, Meet Me In The Woods, The Balancerâs Eye, and Back From The Edge detailing what might happen if one dies and returns, for reasons of revenge, rejection by the powers that be, or maybe no reason at all. Another facet of death that both bands explore is death or disappearance of a loved one, with songs like My Chemical Romanceâs Helena, The Ghost Of You, and Welcome To The Black Parade, and Lord Huronâs In The Wind, The Night We Met, and Drops In The Lake. In total, both bands have the topic of death covered on almost all fronts possible.
Despite the differences in their genres, influences, presences, and even statuses (with Lord Huron currently still a band and My Chemical Romance only becoming active again recently after an almost ten-year breakup), these two groups share a truly remarkable number of similarities in both their origins and approaches to writing songs and albums. Both explore similar topics, albeit in different ways, and use their chosen medium to process similar themes and bring their stories to audiences that can resonate with them. There is a non-negligible overlap of people who would consider themselves fans of both bands, which, though surprising at first, becomes less shocking when these similarities are weighed against their differences.

(Apologies if there are any spelling mistakes on the names. I just typed them all up on my phone.)
I found an absolutely massive 70-page list of all the people in Hollywood who've supported Israel (they signed the âIsrael Must Defend Itselfâ pro-genocide IDF letter, showed support only for Israel, spread IDF propaganda, used âPalestinians are terroristsâ language, etc) â but it included tons of people I've never heard of and, like, talent agents and lawyers and non-celebrities... so I went through it and got all the recognizable names + made them into a list (below the cut), because it's important to name exactly who's supporting Israel's genocide of Palestinians.
Additionally, I searched for all the celebrities who've supported Palestine (not liking one post while sharing nothing, not saying something vague about both sides, but actually using language like "genocide" and "apartheid" while talking about what Israel is doing to Palestine), and that's below the cut too â because these people are risking their careers speaking about this, and they actually have a spine and morals.

PEOPLE WHO SPOKE OUT IN SUPPORT OF PALESTINE:
This includes people who've spoken out this week, as well as people who've spoken out in the past.
Bella Hadid â "This is not about spewing hate on one or the other. This is about Israeli colonization, ethnic cleansing, military occupation, and apartheid over the Palestinian people that has been going on for YEARS!" + she got blacklisted and lost brand deals for saying this and much more
Gigi Hadid â currently being targeted by Israel's official state social media pages for her support of Palestinian civilians
Dua Lipa â support going back years, frequently mentioning Free Palestine + "The ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people must come to an end. NO MORE!! This is a human rights issue!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!"
Mia Khalifa â "If you can look at the situation in Palestine and not be on the side of the Palestinians, then you are on the wrong side of apartheid and history will show that in time" + more about Israel's attacks on Gaza + she lost her podcast deal for showing support
Kehlani â shared stories about Israel's attacks on Gaza + attended a pro-Palestine protest + said: "To my peers and people that are in the spaces Iâm in, what the f*ck is wrong with yâall? Youâre being silent for the sake of money and business⊠thereâs an insane amount of unchecked privilege.â and much more
Jenna Ortega â was targeted by a far-right Israeli site for her repeated support of Palestine, the site attempted to blacklist her, and she continued supporting anyway
Guz Khan â said "What the enforcers of apartheid and their enablers have failed to realise is that the plight of the Palestinians is an issue that resonates with the PEOPLE. You can hide behind weapons of war and have the most powerful resources known to man, the PEOPLE will demand justice" + it's strongly rumored he was fired from Our Fl*g Means Death specifically because of his open support of Palestine
Lauren Jauregui (Fifth Harmony) â said "My heart is with the innocent lives lost to the perpetuation of the vile legacy of imperialism, colonization, apartheid and ignorance. [...] Those who were once the victims of persecution becoming the oppressor and being so cognitively dissonant about the hypocrisy. [...] I deeply condemn the violation of human rights and the violence of the genocidal ethnic cleansing we are witnessing in real time of the Palestinian people." + "Propaganda is a bitch and is the most well oiled tool of the empire." (read her whole post, it's great)
Riz Ahmed â said "If we are on the side of humanity we must urgently speak up to try and avert the loss of innocent life. This means calling for an end to the indiscriminate bombing of Gaza's civilians and vital infrastructure, the denial of food, water, and electricity, and the forced displacement of people from their homes. Thesee are morally indefensible war crimes."
Chance the Rapper â said "Fucking disgusting. This is an American funded genocide. #gazaunderattack #palestinianlivesmatter"
Zayn Malik â said "I stand with the Palestinian people and support their resistance to colonization and protection of their human rights."
Michael B. Jordan â shared the quote: "One cannot advocate for racial equality, LGBT & women's rights, condemn corrupt & abusive regimes and other injustices yet choose to ignore the Palestinian oppression." + more about Israel's attacks on Gaza
Will Poulter â support going back years, including attempting to protest against the UK government for supporting Israel and not condemning the violence in Sheikh Jarrah in 2021, and said:Â "Will the UK government condemn these appalling attacks, which have resulted in the death of civilians, including children?"
Hozier â when sharing a petition about standing with Palestinians: "The Irish experience is all too aware of the centuries long shadow that can be cast by legacies of settler colonialism, illegal displacement and violence."
Zara Larsson â support going back years + "We must call out a state upholding apartheid and KILLING civilians, funded by American dollars." + much more about Israel's attacks on Gaza
(Tumblr wouldn't let me have a list this big, so I'm breaking it up here in the middle with this:)
Celebrities who signed the open letter calling for a ceasefire: Tilda Swinton, Charles Dance, Steve Coogan, Miriam Margolyes, Liam Cunningham, Khalid Abdalla, and over 2,000 more people.
Their joint statement said: "Gaza is already a society of refugees and the children of refugees. Now, in their hundreds of thousands, bombarded from air, sea and land, Palestinians whose grandparents were forced out of their homes at the barrel of a gun are again being told to flee â or face collective punishment on an unimaginable scale. Dispossessed of rights, described by Israelâs minister of defence as âhuman animalsâ, they have become people to whom almost anything can be done. Our governments are not only tolerating war crimes but aiding and abetting them."
Susan Sarandon â said âBeing against the occupation of Palestine does not make one anti-Semitic.â + shared multiple posts about Israel's war crimes this week, including Israel's use of white phosphorous in Gaza
Halsey â shared the quote: "Solidarity with Palestinians means little if it only exists when they appear as victims but disappears when they resist. Those who aren't under occupation or refugees from ethnic cleansing have no right to dictate how those who are resist those responsible for their suffering." + more about Israel's attacks on Gaza
John Cusack â attended a pro-Palestine protest + said "We must free Palestine from a brutal occupation - people concerned for their loved ones, in a hell zone, stuck without food, water and power. Deep anguish over people being told to leave and bombed as they left. I heard people share personal accounts of family members who have been jailed, humiliated, harassed, persecuted, targeted and killed for generations."
Nicola Coughlan â shared the quote: "We may be witnessing the total obliteration of Gaza. Political leaders refusing to speak out should feel eternal shame over the horror they are allowing to unfold. Those of us who believe in peace cannot stay silent. We must say to the Palestinian people: you are not alone."
Lucy Dacus (boygenius) â repeated support in the past + openly calling Obama a war criminal + sharing humanitarian fundraisers for Palestinians + said Free Palestine must be the part of all global liberation movements
Aabria Iyengar â shared "You SHOULD be watching the Genocide that's happening, BUT while spreading awareness is good but it's NOT the full picture. Work. Get on the phone with your local reps and pressure them. If you give money to any political parties? Pull it and tell them why." + more about Israel's attacks on Gaza, Israel committing war crimes, etc
Izzy Roland â shared "We cannot and will not say today's actions by Palestinian militants are unprovoked. Every day under Israel's system of apartheid is a provocation. The strangling siege of Gaza is a provocation. Settlers terrorizing entire Palestinian villages, soldiers raiding and demolishing Palestinian homes, murdering Palestinians in the streets, Israeli ministers calling for genocide and expulsion." + more about Israel's attacks on Gaza
Normani â sharing firsthand accounts from Palestinian families in Gaza during Israel's current attack
Emma Watson â shared a quote about showing solidarity with Palestinians from activist Sarah Ahmed, who was harassed by C*nary M*ssion. Watson was then targeted in the media by Israel, and in response, celebrities including Mark Ruffalo, Susan Sarandon, Viggo Mortensen, Peter Capaldi, Steve Coogan, Gael GarcĂa Bernal, Liam Cunningham, Matt McGorry, Ramy Youssef, and Miriam Margolyes released a joint statement in support of Watson and Palestinians, saying: âWe recognize the underlying power imbalance between Israel, the occupying power, and the Palestinians, the people under a system of military occupation and apartheid."
Ziwe Fumudoh â shared resources about calling US Congresspeople about pressuring them to de-escalate, with "SAY NO TO GENOCIDE CALL CONGRESS NOW"
Dylan O'Brien â shared a video of a young Palestinian girl talking about how Israel bombed her whole street, along with "10 years old. Heart wrenching. #FreePalestine"
DJ Snake â shared "Stop the genocide of Palestinians, stop the massacre, end the apartheid" + more about Israel's attack on Gaza
Liam Cunningham â shared videos of himself at the protest in support of Palestine in Dublin + more about Israel's attack on Gaza
Kim Namjoon (BTS) â attended multiple art exhibitions by Palestinians in diaspora who made art about Free Palestine, and shared pictures of these exhibitions publicly + he owns a piece of art about Free Palestine and, in the past, has posted this art to IG ~coincidentally~ on days when Israel bombed civilians â NOTE: I would not normally include something like this, but I'm choosing to do so specifically because he's doing all this BEFORE serving his mandatory enlistment in the South Korean military, which is aggressively pro-Israel and known for violent bullying, being full of far-right incels, and abuse from superior officers (and harassment towards enlisted celebrities, who are isolated and cut off from all protection). Him risking his support being made known to the general public (especially since BTS fans are known for noticing stuff like this and blowing it up on social media) has much higher risks than the average Western celebrity.
And lastly, I wanted to share this one as well â I'm not sure how real this is, but given Israel's foreign propaganda machine, it wouldn't even surprise me a little:
the tiktoker @/thewizardliz (who has 4.8 million followers and is a beauty influencer originally from Chechnya) â made several pro-Palestine posts, but then deleted them all and said: "Guys I didn't want to delete my posts. But I was just called and told that I'm playing with my life by speaking on these things and that I should delete, I shouldn't involve myself in politics, but I stand with what I said."
Please add more if you know of any, but NOT if it's something along the lines of them just liking a post or trying to say both sides are bad. Please also include what they said/shared â now is the time when speaking out is most important.
Feel free to add any pro-Israel people as well.
#palestine#free palestine#I don't usually post stuff like this but I also can't just stay silent about it

..."People have good days and bad days, thatâs normal life, but few people have a day where they lose $300 million on the New York Stock Exchange. Donald Trump had just that kind of a day on Thursday, ho boy. He is not happy. Just a brief review on how Trump came to be at this place: you know that he had a SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) and its name is DWAC. (Digital World Acquisition Corp.) DWAC was supposed to merge with Trump Media & Technology Group and become a publicly-traded company. That is Trumpâs financial lifeline now, because Trump owns 90% of the Truth Social stock and on paper, at least, this looks like a windfall. However, the two co-founders of Truth Social, once contestants on Trumpâs TV show The Apprentice, threw a real monkey wrench into his plans, causing a nearly nine-point plunge on the stock market.
If this Truth Social big money mirage evaporates, then Trump seriously has no other deep pocket to reach into other than the RNC. And the RNC has resolutions which prevent him from doing same, which will be voted on March 8. Iâm sure that this news, today, is not making either Trump or the RNC rest any easier. Oh and by the by, these are not the only lawsuits in the Truth Social sphere. Pay close attention now, because it gets complicated.
ON TUESDAY, DIGITAL WORLD AND TRUMP MEDIA SUED DIGITAL WORLDâS FORMER CHIEF EXECUTIVE, PATRICK ORLANDO, AND ITS SPONSOR, ARC GLOBAL INVESTMENTS II, IN A FLORIDA COURT, ALLEGING THAT ORLANDO HAD THREATENED TO BLOCK THE MERGER TO âOBTAIN A WINDFALL BY WAY OF EXTORTIONâ AND ACCUSING HIM OF âAVARICE [AND] INCOMPETENCEâ THAT HAD CAUSED âEXTENSIVE REPUTATIONAL HARM.â
ARC, A SUBSIDIARY OF THE SHANGHAI-BASED INVESTMENT FIRM ARC CAPITAL, PROVIDED DIGITAL WORLDâS EARLY FUNDING AND IS MANAGED BY ORLANDO, WHOM DIGITAL WORLDâS BOARD FIRED LAST YEAR.
The Truth Social co-founders have a partnership, United Atlantic Ventures. Under the original agreement, Trump took 90% of the Truth Social shares, the partnership took 8.6 percent, while an attorney on the deal, Bradford Cohen, was given the remaining 1.4 percent, paperwork filed Wednesday states. But for UAV, there would be no Trump Media and no Truth Social, the filing explains.
UAV LAUNCHED THE TRUMP MEDIA BUSINESS, HIRED EMPLOYEES AND RAISED FUNDING WHILE RECEIVING NO âFEE OR PAYMENT FOR ITS WORK,â THE MOTION SAID. AND THOUGH LITINSKY AND MOSS LEFT TRUMP MEDIA THAT YEAR AMID AÂ DISPUTEÂ WITH ITS CURRENT LEADERSHIP, UAV RETAINED ITS SHARES, ACCORDING TO A SECÂ FILINGÂ THIS MONTH FROM DIGITAL WORLD.
THE FILING SAID THAT TRUMP WAS SET TO RECEIVE 78 MILLION SHARES IN THE POST-MERGER COMPANY â A STAKE WORTH MORE THAN $3 BILLION AT THURSDAYâS SHARE PRICE â AND THAT UAV WOULD RECEIVE MORE THAN 7 MILLION SHARES, A STAKE WORTH NEARLY $300 MILLION. âTHROUGHOUT TMTGâS CORPORATE HISTORY,â THE MOTION STATES, âUAVâS 8.6 PERCENT OWNERSHIP INTEREST HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED AND HONORED.â
BUT UAVâS ATTORNEYS ALLEGE IN THE MOTION THAT TRUMP HAS RECENTLY ATTEMPTED TO âDRASTICALLY DILUTEâ THE PARTNERSHIPâS STAKE AS PART OF WHAT THEY CALLED AN â11TH HOUR, PRE-MERGER CORPORATE MANEUVERINGâ TACTIC DESIGNED TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF AUTHORIZED STOCK, FROM 120 MILLION SHARES TO 1 BILLION SHARES.
UAVâS ATTORNEYS WROTE THAT THE âDILUTION SCHEMEâ HAD âNO LEGITIMATE BUSINESS PURPOSEâ AND SUGGESTED THAT TRUMP AND THE TRUMP MEDIA BOARD PLANNED TO ISSUE THE NEW SHARES TO âTRUMP AND/OR HIS ASSOCIATES AND CHILDREN,â WATERING DOWN UAVâS STAKE TO LESS THAN 1 PERCENT.
In plain language, Trump is attempting to steal from his partners, from the people who actually made Truth Social into something on the internet, be it ever so humble. This is vintage Trump, defrauding workers and partners.
UAV WAS âPROMISED 8.6 PERCENT OF THIS COMPANY AND SADLY ITS BUSINESS PARTNERS ARE BASELESSLY TRYING TO RENEGE,â SAID THE PARTNERSHIPâS LEAD ATTORNEY, CHRISTOPHER J. CLARK OF CLARK SMITH VILLAZOR, IN AN INTERVIEW WITH THE WASHINGTON POST DESCRIBING THE LAWSUIT. âTHEY FEEL LIKE: WE MADE TRUTH SOCIAL FOR YOU. YOU GET 90 PERCENT. BUT SOME PEOPLE JUST ARENâT HAPPY WITH 90 PERCENT.â
Nope, Trump wants it all. Trump needs it all.
THE FILING SAID A UAV REPRESENTATIVE SENT A TEXT MESSAGE THIS MONTH TO A TRUMP MEDIA NOTEHOLDER SUGGESTING THAT UAV MIGHT SEEK TO âENJOIN,â OR BLOCK, THE MERGER. THE FILING ALSO NOTED THAT A UAV ATTORNEY HAD SENT A LETTER TO TRUMP MEDIA THREATENING âLEGAL ACTION REGARDING UAVâS ALLEGED RIGHTS IN TMTG, INCLUDING, IF NECESSARY, AN ACTION TO ENJOINâ THE MERGER. DIGITAL WORLD SAID IN THE FILING THAT THE LEGAL DISPUTE COULD PREVENT OR DELAY THE MERGER DEAL, âSIGNIFICANTLY IMPACTâ THE COMPANYâS FUTURE PERFORMANCE, OR âNEGATIVELY IMPACT INVESTOR CONFIDENCE AND MARKET PERCEPTION.â
The fact that the stock dropped almost nine points Thursday definitely displays a negative impact, I think that much is clear. And the fact that lawsuits are clouding this merger is not something negligible, itâs something substantial."
