Ok. So. I had this idea a while ago that kind of went along with A Quiet Place, where Solazar and Aldryx are those aliens that hear everything, except they look the same as they do in the mod and stuff, and Agoti is like a wild digidevil or smth. 

So I had this thought that Agoti broke his leg and accidentally makes noise because of the pain, then he spirals a bit and gets really scared bc A Quiet Place y’know. 

Solazar is the one who hears Agoti and goes to find him, and he almost misses him until he steps on Agoti’s tail, making the digidevil whimper. Solazar takes Agoti in and shelters him so he can heal, and Agoti ends up having a great relationship with Solazar and Aldryx.

A little context, though: I have this idea that there are social digidevils and wild digidevils, so that goes along with this. So we make Agoti quadrupedal. So technically he’d be a pet but we can ignore that, yeah?

The angst under the cut.

Now fast forward a couple months, Agoti is fully healed and is physically ready to be released back into the wild. Physically.

So when Solazar ends up bringing him back to the forest, he’s confused. He looks up at Solazar for answers, and the solarisapien just says that he’s good to go. He doesn’t want to let him go.

Agoti stays where he is and doesn’t leave, and Solazar kinda nudges him forward. When he doesn’t move, Sol just walks away and starts going home. And Agoti follows him.

Now comes the part where we cry :) don’t worry it has a happy ending. I think.

Sol keeps telling Agoti to go, and he doesn’t listen. Eventually Solazar yells at Agoti, and Agoti gets kinda scared but still doesn’t leave.

He starts panicking. He doesn’t know what he’s done wrong, he doesn’t understand why Solazar doesn’t want him anymore. He can be good, he can still be part of the family, he doesn’t think he’s done anything bad.

So he tries to do things that would make someone consider him good. He keeps getting in front of Solazar and doing those things to try and prove himself, but eventually Sol just picks him up, puts back where he started, and walks away again. He doesn’t cry, he doesn’t. Solarisapiens aren’t supposed to.

“What did I do wrong?!” Is what Agoti wants to scream. It’s the one question he wants to ask, the one thing he needs answered. But he can’t because Sol is already far away while Agoti was spiraling, and he’s too far to catch up.

So he stays there and cries, and his self-esteem just drops. At some point, he gets up and goes somewhere else, a cave or something that would act as shelter.

Now we have two paths that I thought of: one where Agoti hurts himself, and one where he lashes out. Let’s start with the second one.

So Agoti is upset, yes, but he still needs to eat. So he goes hunting, and while he’s hunting, he finds some sort of large animal, like a really big deer or a bear or smth like that.

And because he’s kept in some of those emotions, they kind of just take over, and suddenly he’s covered in the blood of the animal, his claws are exposed, and he collapses and cries even harder than last time because he realizes just how much it’s affected him. 

Now the other path. (Self harm tw/cw, possibly graphic depictions of violence?)

Where Agoti is sheltered, he’s laying there and he’s still super sad. But the point is that he was bad. Solazar had said he was bad, and he’d kicked Agoti out, and he still doesn’t know what he did but he wants to fix it but he can’t because he doesn’t know and-

He starts biting and clawing at himself, making some shallow cuts, some deeper ones, all of which bleeding a good bit. He bites his tail, bites his legs, bites his arms, hands, anything he can reach. Whatever he can’t reach with his teeth, he reaches with his claws, scratching at his chest, his stomach, his shoulders.

And when he eventually hears Solazar and Aldryx searching for him, he doesn’t go running. He stays where he is, because he doesn’t deserve them. He doesn’t deserve the people that sheltered and loved him because he apparently hadn’t done the same. He’d only made their lives worse.

Now in both of these paths, Solazar and Aldryx find him, and they take him back, get him checked out by a doctor, and they go back to the way it had been when Agoti was living with them.

In the self harm path, they do have to keep him bandaged and use disinfectant stuff and possibly pills, but it all ends up working out. They have their family now, they’re together, all ends up as it should be.

Anyway there’s my ramble. Feel free to add anything.
