Optimus sits behind the desk in his office, struggling with the news that soldiers are still targeting Jamie. Lennox left to tell the soldiers there’s a meeting in the main hangar. “I can’t believe this is happening,” Optimus sighs as he looks at a photo of Jamie with her guardians. One of the last times everyone has seen her smile, “I failed her years ago and now this is what she deals with.” “You can’t blame yourself,” Optimus hears Ratchet, “I know we’ve known her the longest but you know it’s her family and how they treat her mental health.” “I did nothing to help her deal with that.” “What could you have done since she doesn’t feel loved here? The scrap she deals with in her dimension is affecting her here.” Optimus sighs, frustrated. He knows Ratchet is also worried about Jamie and that he can’t help her. He worries Ratchet blames himself for not ridding Jamie’s body of the chemical. Optimus knows Crosshairs and Drift blame themselves for not helping Jamie better than they are.
