The youngest child of the Blanchefleur clan. Her mother, Genevieve Blanchefleur, is the founder and CEO of White Rose Cosmetics. Her company is well known for its wide range of beauty products, from makeup to skin care. She is known for being effortlessly stunning and poised, and she stresses those same traits in her daughters. Her elder child, Lily, is her pride and joy. She is naturally beautiful, elegant, and soft. Being the first born, Lily stands to inherit the company. Because of this, her mother has shown obvious favoritism toward her and the two are spitting images of each other.

However, Ophelia seems to be a different breed than her mother and sister. Although she is beautiful and sweet, she always just seems just out of reach of the perfection her mother expects from her. Her hair is curly and occasionally unruly, particularly in the presence of humidity. She’s more tame and shy than her sister, who is known for being radiant and charming. She’s not as interested in makeup or fashion as her mother and sister, preferring to do solitary activities and (to her mother’s shock and horror) fencing. Although she is not the ideal young woman her mother wishes her to be, she still tries to follow her mother’s extensive rules, especially the three most important ones:

Always be presentable

Always be pleasant

Never let them see you crack

While Ophelia seems mild mannered and tame, she has a secret side to her. Any time she can, she finds joy in breaking her mother’s rules in small ways (Eating more than one serving of sweets on a weekday? Yes, please! Too tired to do her nightly skincare routine? Just don’t do it. Nobody will know!). She has a quick wit and can have a stinging tongue, which is perfect for unladylike banter. And finally, her biggest secret of all: she is in a student pop rock band. Over the years away from home, she’s taught herself to play the guitar and write songs between ballet lessons and etiquette classes. With the musical talents of some of her classmates, she helped found The Crescent Moon Society as the rhythm guitarist and lead singer. The members of Crescent Moon all dream of a life away from the trappings of being "proper ladies". But Ophelia is the most afraid to show her true self the world among the bunch.

Ophelia is a talented student, having both intellectual and magical strengths that are at a high level. She may actually be considered one of the top students in her classes. She is known by almost everyone for always having a smile on her face and for her willingness to help everyone out (even if it means stretching herself too thin). She works very hard to please everybody in her dorm when making decisions and enforcing rules. She may even be too lax with her housemates at times since she is always busy with activities and obligations.

Facts

The Blanchefleurs are a legacy family at Enchanted Rose University. Genevieve was student body president and Lily won the title of "Prefect of the Year" for all three years she served as the head of house Rosabla. While Ophelia's time at ERU has not been unsuccessful, she lives under some very big shadows.

Even though they have been treated differently over the years, Ophelia and her sister are extremely close. They consider each other their best friends.

Ophelia and Lily’s father died when they were teenagers (13 and 18 respectively)

Ophelia and Riddle are second cousins. Their mothers are first cousins (and do not get along). Although Ophelia tries to get closer to Riddle, he always keeps her at arms length.

Ophelia and Vil have been introduced because their families have run in the same circles before. They’ve met, but never really spoken.

Genevieve has carefully curated her daughters' wardrobes since they were children. To always keep on-brand, their outfits have always consisted of white clothes.

Since she wears so much white, Ophelia knows how to clean any kind of stain with magic. She even takes precautions to not stain her clothes by drinking everything through straws and covering herself in napkins while eating.

Ophelia has been known to be “a pleasure to have in class” since preschool.

She hides her guitar in her wardrobe underneath the skirt of a long gown when her mother visits.

The Crescent Moon Society meets in a music room far from the rest of the dorms at night (which is how they got the inspiration for their name).

Ophelia is the ultimate people pleaser. She just wants everyone to like her, okay???

She is will not kill a bug but is TERRIFIED of them.
