the wariness being unable to tell if the new stranger you're meeting is a person or a person's manifestation

also, have a non-shaded version of the sketch just now! i'm slowly learning to draw more silent hill characters for both doodles and my actual art style. kao (the trainer/"protagonist" of the nuzlocke) is a shiny zorua whose aura powers are golden as a reference to brilliant aura, while james is a psyduck.
