I'm just saying we should be angry as hell at smartphone manufacturers for taking away headphone jacks and removable storage.
Yes Apple started the headphone jack thing, but every other company followed in their stupid ""courageous"" footsteps. Remember when Google first launched the Pixel and lorded about how it still had a headphone jack but then removed it all of a year later when the Pixel 2 launched?
Apple never did have expandable storage, but most other smartphones did. That was a design motif that dated back to the flip phone era. The biggest seller of Android smartphones (or at least the one with most representation on store shelves), Samsung, doesn't even include it in their top of the line devices anymore.
These companies have removed features and forced us to buy them back in one way shape or form, or worse; forced us into inferior experiences as consumers in the case of cheap quality Bluetooth earbuds. And in cases where manufacturers used to offer phones with expandable storage, now the only option is buying the model with more storage capacity, rather than you know, simply buying a micro SD card with exponentially more memory for a fraction of the price. Even OnePlus, whose smartphones are often labeled as "flagship killers" for how their specs and internal components, and whose slogan is literally "Never Settle", caved to the design trends of other brands
As it stands now there's only one major smartphone manufacturer that still sells a flagship smartphone that functions properly in the US (other countries have different antenna bands for 5G and LTE signals than the US does), and still has a headphone jack and micro SD card slot for expandable storage, that's Sony. Whose phones are among the most expensive sold in the US with the Xperia 1 IV having an MSRP of $1599

it's also becoming increasingly difficult to avoid all that even when you're willing to pour in time and effort into various accursed hacks and what amounts basically to tech occultism at this point like, i have a de-googled phone, oneplus 6 for those curious; this thing is from 2018, it was a pain in the arse to de-google and hack into a state that doesn't make me want to defenestrate it; and like, that just isn't possible anymore i dread the day this thing breaks because i might just have to resign to the corporate hellscape and buying a new phone every year because they keep inevitably exploding to force people to buy new ones --- also shit like social media and such even invading things like schools, it became an actual problem when i was studying that i didn't have Whatsapp (which is also owned by and probably sells data to Facebook because fuck you that's why) because like, all class organisation happened on there, i had to get my like 2 Signal-using friends to relay everything to me because there was no communication elsewhere half the time hell, my later studies were even worse, they used fucking Discord --- hilariously, the thing that "killed" piracy was the convenience and ease of use of streaming services and the like, but nowadays if you for example want to watch a movie you own with friends? it's easier to pirate it than watch the legal copy you already have
---
as for phone number verifications, i'm lucky enough to live in a country where you don't need ID for cheap prepaids, so if i really want to use some service that requires that i just count it as costing an intial fee of 5€ in the form of a prepaid lmao
I don't know I'm not done talking about it. It's insane that I can't just uninstall Edge or Copilot. That websites require my phone number to sign up. That people share their contacts to find their friends on social media.
I wouldn't use an adblocker if ads were just banners on the side funding a website I enjoy using and want to support. Ads pop up invasively and fill my whole screen, I misclick and get warped away to another page just for trying to read an article or get a recipe.
Every app shouldn't be like every other app. Instagram didn't need reels and a shop. TikTok doesn't need a store. Instagram doesn't need to be connected to Facebook. I don't want my apps to do everything, I want a hub for a specific thing, and I'll go to that place accordingly.
I love discord, but so much information gets lost to it. I don't want to join to view things. I want to lurk on forums. I want to be a user who can log in and join a conversation by replying to a thread, even if that conversation was two days ago. I know discord has threads, it's not the same. I don't want to have to verify my account with a phone number. I understand safety and digital concerns, but I'm concerned about information like that with leaks everywhere, even with password managers.
I shouldn't have to pay subscriptions to use services and get locked out of old versions. My old disk copy of photoshop should work. I should want to upgrade eventually because I like photoshop and supporting the business. Adobe is a whole other can of worms here.
Streaming is so splintered across everything. Shows release so fast. Things don't get physical releases. I can't stream a movie I own digitally to friends because the share-screen blocks it, even though I own two digital copies, even though I own a physical copy.
I have an iPod, and I had to install a third party OS to easily put my music on it without having to tangle with iTunes. Spotify bricked hardware I purchased because they were unwillingly to upkeep it. They don't pay their artists. iTunes isn't even iTunes anymore and Apple struggles to upkeep it.
My TV shows me ads on the home screen. My dad lost access to eBook he purchased because they were digital and got revoked by the company distributing them. Hitman 1-3 only runs online most of the time. Flash died and is staying alive because people love it and made efforts to keep it up.
I have to click "not now" and can't click "no". I don't just get emails, they want to text me to purchase things online too. My windows start search bar searches online, not just my computer. Everything is blindly called an app now. Everything wants me to upload to the cloud. These are good tools! But why am I forced to use them! Why am I not allowed to own or control them?
No more!!!!! I love my iPod with so much storage and FLAC files. I love having all my fics on my harddrive. I love having USBs and backups. I love running scripts to gut suck stuff out of my Windows computer I don't want that spies on me. I love having forums. I love sending letters. I love neocities and webpages and webrings. I will not be scanning QR codes. Please hand me a physical menu. If I didn't need a smartphone for work I'd get a "dumb" phone so fast. I want things to have buttons. I want to use a mouse. I want replaceable batteries. I want the right to repair. I grew up online and I won't forget how it was!

Display Quality and Screen Size Comparison
Choosing a budget-friendly cell phone means looking at display quality and screen size. You want a phone that's easy on the wallet but still great to look at. The Samsung Galaxy A35 and Google Pixel 8a are good options, but how do they stack up in these areas?
Screen size affects how portable and enjoyable a phone is. Smaller screens, like those on the Asus Zenfone 10 and iPhone SE (2022), are great for those who prefer a smaller device. Larger screens, like the Samsung Galaxy S24, are better for watching videos or playing games.
When it comes to display quality, you'll find LCD or AMOLED screens in affordable phones. AMOLED screens, like the Google Pixel 8a's, have better contrast and color. They're perfect for photos and videos. LCD screens, found in phones like the Samsung Galaxy A35, are more budget-friendly but still offer good quality.
Some important things to think about when comparing displays and screens include:
Screen resolution: A higher resolution means a sharper display
Refresh rate: A higher refresh rate means a smoother display
Display type: AMOLED or LCD, each with its own benefits and drawbacks
Finding the right budget-friendly phone depends on what you need and want. By looking at display quality and screen size, you can find a phone that's affordable and meets your needs.
Durability and Build Quality Factors
When looking at budget smartphone deals, it's key to check the phone's durability and build. A sturdy phone can handle daily use well, lasting longer and giving a better experience. The best affordable cell phone choices often use strong materials like metal or glass. These can fight off scratches and cracks.
Some discounted mobile devices might cut corners on build quality to save money. This can mean a shorter life and more repairs. It's important to compare the build quality of different phones before buying. The Samsung Galaxy A35 and Motorola Moto G Power 5G are good examples. They have strong materials and solid construction.
To keep your phone safe, think about using a case or screen protector. These can soak up shocks and stop scratches, keeping your phone looking good. Also, handle your phone carefully and avoid water or extreme heat to make it last longer.
Here are some important things to think about when checking a budget smartphone's durability and build quality:
Materials used (e.g., metal, glass, plastic)
Water and dust resistance
Screen protection (e.g., Gorilla Glass)
Build quality and construction
By focusing on durability and build quality, you can have a better experience and make your budget smartphone last longer. Whether you're searching for the best affordable cell phone or discounted mobile devices, remember to look at these key factors. This will help you make a smart choice. 7 Tips for Finding a Cheap Mobile Phone Without Compromising Quality
In today’s tech-driven world, having a mobile phone is essential. However, not everyone can or wants to spend a fortune on the latest models. Fortunately, there are plenty of affordable options available that don’t sacrifice quality. Here’s how you can find a cheap mobile phone that meets your needs.
1. Set a Budget
Before you start shopping, decide how much you're willing to spend. Setting a clear budget will help you narrow down your options and avoid overspending.
2. Consider Refurbished Phones
Refurbished phones are pre-owned devices that have been restored to like-new condition. They’re often much cheaper than brand-new models and come with warranties, making them a great option for budget-conscious buyers.
3. Explore Older Models
Last year's flagship phones often drop significantly in price when new models are released. These older models usually have high-end features but at a fraction of the original cost.
4. Look for Sales and Discounts
Keep an eye out for sales events like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or back-to-school promotions. Retailers often offer significant discounts on mobile phones during these periods.
5. Compare Prices Online
Use price comparison websites to check for the best deals across various retailers. Sometimes, online stores offer exclusive discounts that aren’t available in physical stores.
6. Buy Unlocked Phones
Unlocked phones, which are not tied to a specific carrier, can sometimes be cheaper than carrier-locked phones. They also give you the flexibility to switch carriers and choose the best plan for your needs.
7. Consider Lesser-Known Brands
While big brands like Apple and Samsung are popular, many lesser-known brands offer great phones at lower prices. Brands like Xiaomi, Motorola, and OnePlus have affordable models with impressive features.
Conclusion
Finding a cheap mobile phone doesn't mean you have to settle for poor quality. By being savvy and considering these tips, you can get a great phone that fits your budget and meets your needs. Whether it’s a refurbished phone, an older model, or a lesser-known brand, there are plenty of options available for the budget-conscious shopper.

Devil Spawn at C.i.A. Project Omniscience alternate between bombarding Targeted Individuals with two entirely different frequencies so they won't die before they've been sufficiently exploited . But even when used separately prolonged exposure to Ultrasound Transmissions causes sterilization and hypertension and prolonged exposure to Microwave Transmissions causes genetic mutations and cancer. The ultrasound and microwave devices function as transceivers to send and receive audio data that can implant vivid false memories, brainwash with directed dreams and subliminals, and force maddening conversation. They also overwhelm my new Technics AZ-80 wireless earbuds so I can't talk with people that I choose to through my OnePlus 12 smartphone . So to make phone calls I ordered two items on Saturday scheduled to be delivered in one box to my mailing address later today on Monday, September 1st, 2024 including (1) a Hyper-X Cloud III Gaming headset with a WIRED inline mic that I will attach to (2) a New old school Motorola Moto G45 Power smartphone with a builtin 3.5mm jack . Theoretically I could also shoot videos through the same Hyper-X Cloud III attached to my new OnePlus 12 smartphone with the brighter display, higher resolving lenses and superior Hasselblad processing if I can custom order an aftermarket adapter different from the standard one Samsung manufactures without a cheap inline mic positioned one inch from the charging port .

General Information & OnePlus 8 Price In Bangladesh We can confirm that it resonates with us, even more so with the new OnePlus 8 line. The phones are among the most expensive so far. We suspect the 5G factor is the culprit. However, there are other factors. OnePlus 8 price in Bangladesh is very High. The 1 Plus 8 price in Bangladesh is the Official Price: 59,990/- tk The OnePlus 8 Pro, for instance, is not compromising on features such as fast wireless charging and IP68 protection. As a result, the company feels comfortable enough to release a smartphone that asks how much the current Galaxy S20+ costs. The vanilla OnePlus 8 is still aimed at those who want the same fluid OxygenOS experience without spending as much. The standard 8 isn't cheap, however. It's significantly more expensive than its predecessor, the OnePlus 7T. And it's even more costly than the 7T Pro and 7T. What gives? Let’s Have A Look Again At The Oneplus 8 Price In Bangladesh & Main Specification Name– OnePlus 8Sim & Network– GPRS, EDGE, 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G ConnectionColor- Onyx Black - Glacial Green - Interstellar Glow - Polar SilverDisplay– 6.5 Inches Fluid AMOLED (1080 x 2400 Pixels, 402 ppi) – 16M colorProtection– Corning Gorilla Glass 5Refresh Rate– 90 HzOS– Android 10With OxygenOS 11 - Upgrade To Android 11Chipset- Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 5G - 7 nm+ TransistorGPU- Adreno 650RAM & ROM- 6GB RAM+128GB ROM - 8GB RAM+128GB ROM - 12GB RAM+256GB ROMRAM Type– LPDDRX4SD Card Slot– NoMain Camera– 48MP+16MP+2MP – HDR, LED Flash, Panorama - 4K@30/60fps - 1080p@30/60/240fps - Auto HDR, Gyro-EISSelfie Camera– 16MP - Auto-HDR - 1080p@30fps - Gyro-EIS3.5mm Jack– NoFM Radio– NoSpeaker– Yes (Stereo Speakers)Wifi– Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac – Dual-Band – Wi-Fi DirectBluetooth- 5.1, A2DP, LE, aptX HDOther Sensors– GPS – Fingerprint – Accelerometer – Gyroscope – Proximity – CompassBattery- 5.1, A2DP, LE, apt-X HDPrice- 59,990/- Body & Design The OnePlus 8 is a well-built device that uses glass on its front and back and aluminum on its sides. However, it's unknown which version of Gorilla Glass OnePlus is used for the front or back. The OnePlus 8 felt much smaller than its predecessor, which surprised us. The aspect ratio is probably why the 8 feels smaller than its predecessor. It's slightly taller, but it's also significantly narrower. This allows for a more comfortable grip. It is now more challenging to reach the top of the display. There are some caveats to the 20:9 aspect ratio. The finish is another noticeable difference. It looks almost the same as the old one, with its smooth, frosted glass. Although it feels great to touch and is very premium, it cannot be easy to handle. The new 8 retains the same finish but is a little grippier. It has a similar finish to the Pixel 4-series and is closer to the rubbery feel. It's still very slippery, but don't let that fool you. The Glacial Green color we received is at least resistant to fingerprints. They are difficult to spot and don't stick as well. OnePlus 8 Display Although the display on the vanilla OnePlus 8 may not have the same features as the Pro, it doesn't make it less impressive. This could be the best screen we have seen in this category. The panel is OLED and has a 1080x2400px resolution. It also features a 20:9 aspect ratio. Fluid AMOLED is the name OnePlus gave it because of its curves and 90Hz refresh rate. Software The Oneplus 8 comes with Android 10, Upgradable to Android 11 and OxygenOS 11. The new OxygenOS has a few new features, but there aren't many major changes. Some of these features might also end up in older models. The overall Android experience is stocky, with some minor additions still available. Performance We didn't see any hangs or hiccups while using the device. With the Snapdragon 865 chipset, the OS ran without issue and ran smoothly. It's based upon the 7nm+ EUV manufacturing process, which promises marginal power savings and better overall performance than the Snapdragon-855 chipset.
It consists of an Adreno 650 GPU and an octa-core CPU. It consists of a Kryo585 core running at 2.84 GHz, a cluster of three Kryo585 cores running at 2.42 GHz, and four additional Kryo585 cores operating at 1.8 GHz. The chipset is supported by 12GB LPDDR4X memory, 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, and four additional Kryo 585 cores running at 2.84 GHz. The vanilla 8 does not have the LPDDR5 memory. The other configuration uses 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Camera The Oneplus comes with a 48MP Main Camera and 16 MP selfie camera. The OnePlus 8 replaces the telephoto lens with a dedicated macro lens. The zoom photos can be cropped by 2x from the main 48MP sensor. The features of the Video are the Rear camera 4K 2160p@30/60fps Full HD 1080p@30/60/240fps Full HD 1080p@30/60/240fps 720p@480fps Full HD 1080p@30. Sound Stereo loudspeakers are included in the OnePlus 8. One is located at the bottom, and the other is hidden behind the small bezel at the top. Both are louder than the previous lineup, but the 8 has a better quality aspect. The vocals sound clear, and the bass is impressive for such small speakers. Oneplus 8 Battery The OnePlus 8's battery life is Very Good. The phone's standby time was excellent, even with the external Snapdragon X554G+5G modem. We were impressed by the on-screen results. The almost no difference between the 60Hz and 90Hz screen modes was even more impressive. The difference lasted several minutes and was more likely due to statistical error than anything else. The jump to a 4,300mAh battery has been more than welcomed and has greatly improved battery life. Our Opinion The OnePlus 8 Price In Bangladesh is high but, The OnePlus 8 is a great phone. It has a nice main camera performance, good battery life, a fast charger, a bright display at 90Hz, the best-sounding stereo speakers, an unrivaled fingerprint reader performance, and OxygenOS, which is fast and optimized.

6 Best Cheap Smartphones (2023): iPhone, Android, 5G
OnePlus Nord N300 5G for $230: This close-to-$200 smartphone has some pretty crazy specs, but naturally, there are a lot of caveats. It’s only available at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile, and OnePlus has already delivered the only Android OS update this phone will ever get (Android 13). At least it’ll get two years of security updates. Still, there’s 5G connectivity, and I used tap-to-pay via…

OnePlus V Fold 256/512 GB And 8/12 GB RAM Mobile Phone Cheapest Price Amazon
Tumblr media
OnePlus is now all set to launch the OnePlus Fold this year and we have some initial information about the same. The OnePlus V Fold will have Flagship level Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset and 2K Resolution. OnePlus 11 Concept First Look Previously people have guessed that the OnePlus V Fold poised to be released in Q3 will be very similar to the Oppo Find N2, however this does not seem to be the case. Recent leaks shared by Digital Chat Station (highly reputable leaker based in China) indicate that the OnePlus V Fold will in fact be a carbon copy of Oppo PHN110, a large screen foldable set to be released in China in the second half of this year. Now this is very interesting as there are plenty of information leaked already on Oppo PHN110, so by examining those information we can get a decent idea of the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus V Fold. I have gathered all leaks and rumors from Digital Chat Station related to Oppo PHN110 and thus OnePlus V Fold up to today:
OnePlus V Fold Screen:
Is a big screen foldable that is bigger than the Oppo Find N2, with a 2268*2440p 120Hz display that supports LTPO and has minimal crease. (No information has been leaked on the ratio of the front screen, however based on the ratio of the inner screen we can deduce that it will either be a taller screen with a ratio around 20:9 similar to Xiaomi and Vivo's foldable or a 16:9 ratio that is the same as the Find N2 but bigger, depending on the orientation of the inner screen).
OnePlus V Fold Build:
Will be ultra-thin.. No detailed measurements are leaked so far, however since Digital Chat Station has also described the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 (11.2 mm) and the Huawei Mate X3 (11.2 mm) as ultra-thin previously, the OnePlus V Fold will likely be around 11 - 12 mm in thickness as well. Will be light weight, but heavier than the Find N2 (237g) and possibly slightly heavier than the Huawei Mate X3 (240g), as stated by Digital Chat Station. A good guess would be around 250g. Will have the signature Alert Slider
OnePlus V Fold Camera:
Triple Camera setup housed in a center circle with Hasselblad branding 50MP (IMX890) main camera (same as the main camera of OnePlus 11) Ultrawide camera (unknown specification) A periscope camera that excels in low light (No info has been leaked the level of zoom, however given that it is a periscope a good guess would be 5x) The resolution of the front facing camera on the outer and inner screens with be 32/20MP (OV32C)
OnePlus V Fold Battery:
4800 mAh Supports wireless charging No info has been leaked on the speed of wired charging, however it will likely be similar to the charging speed of both the OnePlus 11 and the Oppo Find X6 Pro (100w) Additional information that has not been officially stated but are likely included: Powered by the Snapdragon 8Gen2 Supports Flex mode (similar to the Oppo Find N2) Unknown: May or may not be rated for water-resistance Overall, it would seem that the OnePlus V Fold is likely to be a very capable large screen foldable that packs solid camera hardware and good battery size in a slim and lightweight build. Unfortunately from the leaked info above, it will likely not be cheap. The Oppo Find N2 already retails for 7999¥ in China (~$1170) and it is almost guaranteed that the Oppo PHN110 will be more expensive than that. If it retails for around 9999¥ (~$1460), it is not improbable to assume that the OnePlus V Fold will start at a slightly higher price in North America (possibly $1599 or more). With that been said, as someone that is hoping to get the Galaxy Z Fold 5 but is somewhat put off by the narrow outer screen, the OnePlus V Fold does seem to be a solid alternative. TLDR: Large 2268*2440p inner display and a big outer display Thin and light weight in build Triple camera with main camera of 50MP (IMX890), ultrawide, and periscope zoom and Hasselblad branding 4800 mAh battery that supports wireless charging Read the full article
