"You are such a shameless flirt." Cassie giggled, returning the kiss, his large hand holding her up with ease as their lips met. In spite of everything, all the war and chaos plaguing the four blues, the one constant was the warmth of Moria's embrace. She leaned her head against his chest, letting his heart beat soothe her weary mind. After a moment, she looked up at him and smiled, the faintest dusting of pink gracing her cheeks.

"It's been too long since I've heard you say that. I love you too." She smiled, running her finger along his collar.

"I found out the vineyards were lost to a flood. Shame. But it just means this one is all the more special." Cassie said with a soft smile, listening to his words. She let out a heavy sigh, her shoulders releasing tension she'd been holding all these years before she looked out the window.

"I'm not going to say it was easy. I thought that I lost you. It made certain decisions easier, and I will admit I did some pretty awful things trying to justify my anger at the world." She said, taking a sip of the dark maroon liquid, relishing the flavor before sighing. Violet hues were transformed from stormy seas of anger and rage to a calm pools of relief and a hint of happiness.

"Just having you here though... It is greater than any treasure I could ask for."

Moria scowled at that news, the idea that some asshole would lay a finger on his Cassie, let alone try to auction her as a slave pissed him off. At least Cassie was ok, and she'd put the bustard in his place. Better Cassie got to him than he did, Moria could be quite the sadist when he wanted to be.

He brightened immediately at the sight of the farmilar bottle. Was that...? He didn't get a chance to ask as Cassie confirmed. "I remember... It's a pain to get a hold of, so it's a good thing you manage to save it." The Luminacian prince repilied as he accepted the glass. I'm glad you survived. Most of the crew didn't make... and I thought I'd lost you too." He admitted, but he never gave up hope.
