I am so fucking ready for Dreadwolf to metamorphose the DA fandom into something new. To be real, it desperately does need like 500 new young people with fresh eyes who have not been waiting ten years for a video game

#tbh i have not been waiting a decade because i only picked up dragon age during quarantine #but DAI does feel like it is physically dragging me back in time to 2014 and it's made me jaded #it's so bizarre to see the changes to the social and political atmosphere.#On one hand... the attitude and slang and fashion sense and whatnot in DAI have NOT changed much in the last decade #(in contrast to DA2 which was very edgy in a bloody medieval Hot Topic way)#BUT in DAI the way they talk about politics and war and templars?? SO dated holy crap.#can you imagine in the two years after DAI? 2015 and 2016. Saying that there isn't a difference between templars and mages?#Stopping yourself from smack talking the cops because “they're on your side”?#THAT mindset changed almost overnight
