Percival Selkis(b. 1874/1875)  was a pure-blood wizard and a member of the House of Selkis. He was a Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1885 into the 1890s. Despite being the only son of a dark wizard family, He no longer practiced the dark arts shortly after joining Hogwarts.

The House of Selkis: was a pure-blood wizard family, and one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. They were considered "Guard dogs" of the twenty-eight. They are a family of dark wizards who's tradition lied in that the founder(Hector Selkis) of their family turned himself into an immortal large white wolf who shows up every 3rd full moon. The Selkis family would bring their children at the age of 10 to be bit by the wolf. The bite would give the children a small amount of Hector Selkis's powers causing the children to be naturals at the dark arts. Some children could possible get sick and die if they were too weak. Every bite would heal into a mark that looks like a tattoo.

Hector Selkis: was close friends with Salazar Slytherin and was his body guard in a way. He used his large wolf form to maul people and muggles. *This family can't speak Parseltongue*

Percival was the first child of his family to survive the wolf bite. His older sister had died of illness upon getting the bite. Years later His younger sister was mauled by the wolves infront of his eyes. Percival's fate in his family was fading, He lost two sisters and his parents seemed unaffected by it. It was all about tradition to them. It wasn't until Percival went to Hogwarts in his second year did his family have another baby. Hogwarts

Percival was a natural at the dark arts at a young age and even at Hogwarts he practiced in secret. He snuck out every night to practice alone; Only Sebastian Swallow knew about this. This stopped when Ominis Gaunt opened up and told Percival what the dark arts had done to him. Ominis had gazed his fingers against the tattoo on Percival's arm and at that moment Percival stopped anything related to the dark arts. He believed this was the world telling him that he should protect Ominis.

Percival had become good friends with Sebastian, Anne and Ominis in his first year. Sebastian had given Percival the nickname "Percy". He hated it but once both Anne and Ominis said they liked it. He decided it was fine but only they could call him that.

Percival on the surface could seem like a jerk. He being the one who started "Puffskein Dunkein". He was mischievous and liked pranking other people and willing to do things that interest him even if they are against the rules. This made him and Sebastian great friends and known trouble makers. Sebastian getting caught alot more than him. His good grades also got him out of alot of trouble.

Percival had joined the Quidditch team, He was the team's seeker. He was one of the best in Hogwarts because he would do anything to win the game including breaking bones which he did alot. Fifth year (CW: Spoilers for Hogwarts Legacy)

It was in his fifth year that he became more acquainted to a new student who had joined late in their fifth year due to their ability to see and use ancient magic. Pervical started becoming frustrated with the new student and his old friend Sebastian as they tried to pull Ominis back into the dark arts which made him uncomfortable due to his past with the dark arts.

 Ominis was pressured into exploring Slytherin's Scriptorium under Sebastian's promise that it would be their last encounter into Dark Magic. Percival insisted that he joined to protect Ominis and Sebastian if needed. Percival tired to protect Ominis as much as he could but couldn't stop his distress or the trauma of coming face-to-face with the bones of his late aunt Noctua. This trip just caused Percival to become angry with his friend. He understood why he was doing this but just like how Sebastian cared for Anne and helped to help her, Percival HAD to take care and protect Ominis.

Sebastian did not stop his journey into the Dark Arts; by the winter of 1890 He needed to speak to Hector Selkis who protected many secrets kept by Slytherin. Sebastian convinced Percival to help them and take them to the wolf on the 3rd full moon. Percival took the two to a clearing in the woods that was north of Hogwarts. This was were the Selkis would bring children to be bit by the wolf. Percival is able to summon the Wolf of Hector Selkis with his tattoo on his left forearm. The Wolf of Hector Selkis remembers Percival including his two sisters. The Wolf of Hector Selkis conjures illusions of Percival's dead sisters causing Percival to double over and throw up on the ground. Sebastian and the new student were able to speak with The Wolf of Hector to find out Slytherin's hidden room. Sebastian ended up carrying Percival back to Hogwarts and got into another argument with Ominis when he finds out.

Later that year, Percival followed Ominis to Feldcroft catacombs, as Sebastian used the relic to summon Inferi. Solomon Sallow had sworn to alert Headmaster Phineas Nigellus Black the next time Sebastian used dark magic, so Ominis and Percival ran to the Headmaster to tell him that the event was simply an exaggerated argument. In their absence, Sebastian murdered Solomon, which convinced Ominis that he could no longer stand by and watch his friend's descent into darkness, and that it was time to turn Sebastian in which Percival begged Ominis not to. Percival knew what happened to ones who were charged with using the dark arts. He knew Ominis was right but he also wanted to protect Sebastian and help him before turning against him.

*This is where everything is kinda fuzzy on what happens alot of "Possibly" this happened*

Percival was able to stop Ominis from telling the headmaster about Sebastian using the dark arts. Ominis says alot of harsh words out of frustration with Percival. This hurts Percival but didn't stop him from doing what he thought was right. Percival informed him at the memorial ceremony for Eleazar Fig that it had been Victor Rookwood that cursed Anne Sallow, not the goblins as they had originally believed. Percival informed both Anne and Sebastian as well. Things were very strained between the three boys for a long time.

Trivia

Percival has nightmares very often and can be found in the common room late at night looking out the windows for "Mermaids"

Percival has a big sweet tooth and likes to sneak candies into Hogwarts to share with Anne, Sebastian and Ominis

He carries around a Pocket watch with the Selkis family logo and inside the watch there is a picture of Ominis.

Ominis is unaware but Sebastian knows and does alot of "Whats that in your watch, Percy?" "When are you going to tell him?" "Why hide it?"

Percival is also friends with Poppy Sweeting. Percival can bond with wolves which Poppy loves seeing. They bond over beasts alot; Big believer that Percival is the only good Slytherin (+ The new student if they are Slytherin too)

Also friends with Garreth Weasley. Percival only helps when it sounds like fun or benefits him.

His wolf bite mark is on his left forearm. He covers it with long sleeves.

He dyes his hair to make it less obvious that he is apart of the Selkis family.

Many people wanted to marry into his family due to their nature. Marrying one is having a permeant guard and safety. Also money.

Percival and Ominis are very touchy with each other. Percival will rest his chin on Ominis's shoulder to look over at what he's doing.

Ominis worries alot about Percival's way of playing Quidditch and not helping that he breaks bones every game.

Ominis is taller than Pervical
