Equal parts hilarious and satisfying when like Characters loose their memories and then have to interact with their old enemies who are like “Ah! They dont remember me! Surely I can convince them to join me!” and then the amnesiac is like “Bro I may not have all my memories, but like Fuck you specifically”

#reading the Gray Son Legacy and Its So funny to me that William Cobb fucked up that badly #like he went to all that trouble. Everything was lined up so well and he couldnt resist pissing Ric off so he’d fight the memory restoration #and like Ric shook it off SO FAST #man was mind wiped for like 30 minutes tops and then went /hmm actually no./#The real miracle here is that the court of owls has somehow stayed secret for more than a century with william cobb in charge #like weeks or months of work and hes just like Ah Yes I could easily befriend this guy and just straight up offer to help with his memory #And hed willingly fall into my trap #OR I could establish myself as an enemy by murdering one of his friends and kidnapping his girlfriend and then attempt to brainwash him #the second option will surely not have any negative repercussions #I know he didnt actually murder that guy but he almost did and thats the important part #also yea Ric is hella suspicious and would have taken some effort to get close to but like… literally all it would have taken is an introduc #…tion from the doctor and Cobb would have been in????#Ok actually maybe Dick /Hard Mode Only/ Grayson and Will /Make things harder for myself on Purpose/ Cobb are actually related #DC I guess???#Wings and things
