'Lost control' is certainly a way of putting it. Were he itching to offer his own interpretation, Gale would've settled more on some affront to the gods. There are bodies strewn everywhere, some dozen cloven cleanly and some others laid smote, but there remain several so viciously emptied, thoroughly exsanguinated and life force spent. It was stunning, to be sure, watching her, well, he supposes the word is 'work.' She was known for her focus, her unrivaled calm, and yet, just then, a great madness came upon her—and all control, all senses, fell far, far gone. Gale eyes her now, her clothes all clotted. He smells of lightning and tempest and a spot of summer moss; Dronia, in turn, reeks of death. "I'm sure you're well aware that your 'predilections' aren't what most would determine agreeable," he warns. Behind her, Lae'zel's glare dredges holes. "I'm hardly one to scold you for your own wicked appetites, but had we found ourselves in the company of those a tad more respectable, that situation on our hands would've proven spectacular." Gale frowns. He! doesn't mean to scold. However, his orb is worsening, and Halsin's no cure, and though he little minds the death of some assassins, to be sure, the way she had looked was thoroughly lost. "You were pried off of him, Dronia." Brows furrowed, Gale stares. "For a moment, you'd regarded me with little recognition."

The wince at the sharpness in his tone is involuntary. There really is no way for her to quite explain what has been happening. Keeping her emotions, especially her more negative traits, under control since her dhampirism manifested has been quite the task. In quieter moments it simply made her more quickly irritable, having to constantly deal with a hunger that scratched at the back of her skull and gnawed at her insides. But in combat, when there is blood being liberally flung about, sometimes it awakens something violent in her that had never been there before. For the most part, she's been able to keep it in check, but tonight... oh, it had been quite the display, one that left even her in shock. "I..." trying to respond to Gale in a moment like this feels nearly impossible. "I don't have one... perhaps reason has left me." She won't look him in the eyes, instead focusing on the blood around them, on her hands and clothes, crimson shining in wide and fearful eyes. "I just... lost control."
