okay so I want to start with I was a joanfk shipper when i first watched s1. yeah.

well i wasn't an avid fan like with tophabe it was more like Oh yeah they're cute! I liked the scene of jfk telling Joan he liked her for who she was

but eh that's like, bare minimum for a relationship

I think they have something fun to offer, jock x goth, popular x unpopular

buttttt S2 ruined them, sorry I don't know how the common opinion was that they were the only good thing like NO they were the WORST thing or one of the worst

also s2 made me hateee jfk I kinda get to like him more in s3 but joanfk in s3 doesn't exist so yeah

anyway, overall i just think that they just, idk they simply don't work, Joan craves more deep connection (in my opinion) and well yeahhh jfk loves her i guess, but he's dumb, and he doesn't care about deep things or whatever, and he doesn't seem to be like, actually supportive in her interests well they just, kiss and have sex and that's it that's the chemistry

alsoo joan wasn't the best either, she wanted jfk to change and seemed to like him way more in spring break when he was smart 😭😭😭 she was desperate to keep him like that, and well she even said it she was just attracted to him she didn't say she was in love in sexy ed

imo she just got with him because she wanted to forget abe, but there wasn't much in common other than they thought the other one was hot too, and jfk eh he gets with any girl

and they're not exactly what I like in a ship not even in s1 so personally that makes me like them less

and they're not even fun to watch imo, they're boring and even uncomfortable sometimes (yes i know clone high had sex jokes since s1 i just think joanfk made them more frequent)

they could've been great, or at least okay i think if they worked on giving them actual chemistry

and even though joan wanted to change him once or whatever she seemed like happy idk how to say it i mean they do seem to be in love I guess in a way which makes it more annoying to me like joan get out please

okay this one is a little tricky because salma has the vibes of a greaser but realistically she would be a prep because she’s from the gojo clan and they got MONEY 😭 but salma is chicana as well so… hm.. i would say she started as a preppy girl but was very easily swayed into becoming a troublesome greaser. like a mixture of both for sure. nobara is definitely a prep but she’s such an outspoken person and this is why salma is like ‘oh yes this is perfect’ and they’re cute. salma probably takes nobara in a lowrider. they’re also both troublemakers. have you MET THEM!! this one is so silly to me. so here’s my idea for it is that setsuko and suguru are the ones who start off with the ship because they’re childhood besties in almost every au so they were probably on the wavelength of ‘we’re going to be the coolest pirates when we grow up’. they get their ship. they meet shoko at some point and she’s like a healer and is like ‘lol you guys are gonna get scurvy if you don’t let me heal you wink wink’ and she throws oranges at them. LMFAO. okay. so satoru is obviously the stowaway. he’s probably some like prince in this au who longs for a life at sea. and setsuko and suguru (who are both captains. they share.) are like ‘hm… he’s cute.’ and decided to keep him. shoko is very nonchalant about the whole thing but she’s glad to have him aboard regardless. thinks the monarchy is stupid and thinks it’s funny that they ‘stole a prince.’ satoru reminds them that they DID NOT steal him but shoko thinks it’s funny. setsuko and suguru quickly join in on this joke as well. they’re a fun little crew. they kiss sometimes. I MEAN WHAT WHO SAID THAT. (was it casual when we would steal precious jewels and give it to each other as tokens of our love and affection)

headcanon… the ship is called the rainbow dragon and honestly it makes sense because the fuckers (affectionate) are all rainbows themselves. they’re all incredibly touchy and affectionate with one another but they never establish what’s actually going on between them, which seems to be a constant in every universe. regardless, they all love each other and defend one another. also as opposed to setsuko’s canon forehead scar from The Toji Incident, i think the… pirate killer??? slashed her eye. so she wears an eyepatch a lot of the time but she always takes it off when it’s just the four of them. sashisu all agree she’s beautiful regardless (:

Also, rereading back JuAli's scenes together in the Kou Empire, it's really so funny how empty Judar's threats and insults towards Alibaba are.

Sure, he tried to kill him before.

He'll get all hissy like a fussy moody cat towards him. But it's not out of genuine hatred.

JuAli are true opposites in terms of their personalities, morals/ideals/world views...

In JuAli's chapters together, I think it's sexy how Judar expressed his frustrations with Alibaba's character, basically, what he perceived as Alibaba's naivety.

Like, Judar is clearly frustrated by Alibaba's whole deal, being unable to understand Alibaba or really get what's going on with him (despite Alibaba being really straightforward as a person)

Especially when he has such a childish personality and black and white morals and worldview of boxing people into Strong vs. Weak.

It's like... At that moment, he (Judar) is not ready to face that.

Alibaba is someone that he clearly sees and perceives as "weak and naive" but also challenges his world views, cuz he just... does not get Alibaba's humble nature, at all.

In the sense of being frustrated by someone's bright (dazzling) radiance.

He understands and recognizes that Alibaba draws others to him, but just can't seem to understand why. It frustrates him how he doesn't get it. And that in itself shows a form of inner curiosity, a desire to know more.

I wanted to convey that feeling in my own dialogue scripts.

Judar's insults… They don't hold true weight.

Like the insults he throws are so empty.

It's so funny like he (Judar) says it with his whole chest.

Recently revamped a JuAli dialogue script idea I had. Judar and Alibaba kiss with banter ❤️ 💛 I added more to it. I last updated it in December, so I might as well post it again since I added some new lines.

It's just them kissing but just gonna put a warning cuz it's kinda suggestive/sexually implicit though.

Yeah I think my moots know why I mainly post rambles on Insta and Tumblr, it's cuz I usually do long rambles for character thoughts + analysis, and Twitter's character limit is super annoying for that. I tend to post discussions cuz my friends have insightful things to say (and I feel like it flows more naturally in convo format than just to summarize what they said)

I need to talk more about my Magi faves on here (I miss them) because I had many thoughts while reading, so I just roughly drafted ideas right now. I need to write my character/ship ideas down before I forget.

Me: I actually originally wrote Judar's last line as "Show me the kind of spark that charmed Hakuryuu so much." Because Judar makes a note in Ch. 266 that Hakuryuu is charmed by Alibaba in the fan-TL :) And also the official EN TL by Viz. They still keep it (whews) but remove the 1st mention of it, "What about Alibaba charmed Hakuryuu…"

But I don't tend to reference other ships in my ship stuff since I usually focus on ships solo. Like in my AU stuff, I tend to focus on just the ship/characters itself. Like I would rather deal with my multiships in their own separate AUs, since it’s easier for me to work with. I do love AliHaku though. But I liked that line so I still tried to include it though. NGNGNNG.

JuAli's "Love-Hate" relationship is soooo interesting to me <33 They're so sen-core.

Obviously they're more complicated than that but "Love-Hate" is just to simplify it

They're Enemies to Lovers too, but very different from LimGuda (Douman/Ritsuka) obviously. But they share most of the Sen-core ship tropes I love. I think JuAli has HoroRen (SK) kinda~ish vibes.

Like y'know. Yin/Yang. Light/Darkness. Protagonist/Antagonist. Angel/Devil. Enemies to Lovers. And then JuAli also has Fire/Ice going on with them. Sen-core meow meow mf/ship strikes again. I really adore JuAli and AliHaku, heehee. It's very typical Sen-ship trope core with their Sun/Moon/Eclipse symbolism going on.

My most favourite ships are usually Opposites Attract (the good kind). There are bad Opposites Attract ships out there obviously (charas who just bicker and literally nothing else). I'm just built different though. JuAli and HoroRen just fall into my kind of rather rough and violent end of Opposites Attract ships. Twink on twink violence is their love language /lh

I love Opposites Attract ships that are also combined with any of these tropes: Narrative parallelism (Yin/Yang, Light/Darkness, Sun/Moon tropes), Protagonist x Rival/Antagonist/Opposing Figure, Apoptosis, Reconciliation of Opposites, Fated Enemies/Rivals, etc.

I feel like in the early stages of them catching feelies they’d both be really awkward around each other and constantly headbutt each other… They'd always be pretty competitive with each other, like “Casual sex implies the existence of ranked competitive sex” vibes (LMAO) but they'd warm up to each other over time.

I'm busy so Idk when I'll sketch this all out but it was based off this idea I had in my head.

Re: My Writing Ideas

Me: I don't really post my writing ideas on main cuz my dialogue scripts are more like guidelines for me to practice writing dialogue for comics, and also to help me remember my art ideas. I write down my ideas so that I don't forget them (cuz they come to me spontaneously during the day), and also so that I can hopefully turn them into comics one day 🙏

My mutuals/friends can read them though! I post them because I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to turn my ideas into art form, and because I think the dialogue scripts are interesting to read.

Also me doing this still technically counts as a form of art. Even if they're written almost like play format, it's still a form of creative writing

I've definitely gotten sm better at it like I've been refining the way I write Idate's dialogue (and other WATGBS AU charas) over time

Because when I write these scenario ideas down, I think in terms of visuals. When the ideas come to my head, I imagine and see them all visually in my head. I'm a much more visual person, so I see things through visuals, and then try to turn them into words.

I think I first started critically engaging with and analyzing media at 18 (which is a good thing, because art is a form of expression and social commentary). I think I only really got good at doing media analysis at 18+ and it refined even more at 19 - 21+

It used to be so hard for me to put my thoughts into words, but I got much better at it through practice (by doing all the thought rambles)

But I'm literally so much better at analytical writing (ie. Series and character analysis, meta) than creative writing (ie. Novel and fanfic writing), so that's why I only do dialogue scripts. It'd be interesting to try and take up fanfic writing in the future though... But it definitely won't be soon, so I'll stick to my main creative form (drawing) for now

Thank you so much, Anon! I am very happy that you like my art, it means a lot to hear that. Yesterday we discovered that we draw Silver very rarely, and I hope to fix that soon… He is a great boy and a very lovely one to draw.

Can’t say much about Fellow Honest – we haven’t seen his event yet; we love Rollo very much! I talked about him in this reply, plus posted a bunch of comics and drawings of him. He was one of the first twst characters we’ve seen even before knowing what twst was, and I still think he has one of the best designs in the game.

We also like Neige! For the most part we talk about him in the context of shipping him with Vil though, so pretty much all of my drawings with him are related to their relationship. This is a hc post, but I’m also kind of sharing my thoughts about him a little bit there… In general, I love what Neige represents and how nicely he contrasts Vil, and I think he could be used in a lot of different scenarios despite basically being just a very sweet and unassuming young man.

oH...there are too many... u can't make me choose the best out of all my faves that's unfair 🥺jk lol

i read* this jamikali fic (i like my ships with a bit [read: a LOT] of tragedy/disaster-ness to them. it's so so so compelling to read!) and i just love the "Dubiously Unrequited Love" tag. bcs yes, the feelings are technically mutual, but there is a whole slew of other factors keeping the relationship from being a thing, which it could be a thing, but there's also that awareness that it won't last, sometimes a couple doesn't have to be endgame for the love to mean something, ykw?

this entire oneshot series....has me in a chokehold... my introduction to "Non-Sexual Intimacy" (and "Non-Sexual Nudity" i guess?) like??? holy shit??? the tension?? the way op just encapsulates the poignancy of being in such a vulnerable position without teetering too much into the cliche of roëmænce it has me On My Knees!! (like i love my smut and romance cliches, but some days i jus want a liiiitle bit more spice and variety)

Shoutout to the "Unreliable Narrator"++"Ambiguous Ending" combi that reaaaaally makes you work for understanding the plot, idk how to word it but being able to leave Just Enough Breadcrumbs and having enough trust in your readers to Get what ur implying, also forcing me to reread the fic immediately is so foul (in a good way). like there's an enjoyment in a good satisfying read, and then there's the Itch of never being sure in your interpretation, the feeling that u just need to go over it another time, spot another detail u missed, get wrecked all over again, rinse and repeat. idk i love fic.

Kirishima with glasses?

So recently I kinda jumped back into the MHA fandom I watched the first 5 seasons as they came was apart of the 2020-2021 MHA crowd but wasn’t like super in the fandom just watched the anime and some gacha videos because I was a gacha kid.

still remember todobakudeku. Back then I wasn’t homophobic but I wasn’t definitely like my today self in which my favorite romance genre is gay idiots falling in love.

also the only gay ship I knew and liked is Ennard x Mike from FNAF yes I know it was a time.

For ships my main ones in MHA were the straight ones because they were cute and I also had no personality like I was really against crackships and stuff despite shipping Jelsa yeah old me was a bit weird.

And jokes on me because I end up being crackships ambassadors now.

Anyway recently with the news of MHA manga ending I wasn’t well that like interested because I haven’t touched MHA’s anime since season 5 and had fallen out of it getting obsessed with Naruto.

But I did have thoughts or binge watching all of the episodes to get caught up and then to make things better I read a kacchako fic. I’ve always like kaachako it was cute and ended up on Twitter fyp sometimes.

I also was going through a reading block so I wanted to actually read something and found a fanart for a fanfic and started reading some kaachako fics the author also ended up writing a Kiribaku one.

I read it out of boredom but ended up being obsessed with the ship by the end of it because god damn it they’re adorable 😭.

So now I’m obsessed with Kiribaku DESPITE the MHA ending I’ll never like you Bakudeku (like the dancers sometimes though). im reading tons of fanfics and starting to actually draw MHA art which will probably end in my WIPS but oh well.

I’m currently in season 2 of rewatching the anime because I kinda wanna make a Kiribaku fanfic in the future based on the canon ending to the manga so you’ll get news about that soon (it’s gonna be angst and fluffy)

presenting: ✨ jingfu vegas wedding ✨

there was a time i got back into asoiaf and jaime/brienne, and there's this subgenre of jb fics where they get quickly married on the quiet isle for one reason or another! and i just got obsessed with this type of wedding, and then i got to thinking about vegas weddings, and then i imagined jingfu drunk and giggly and happy and my gdocs stood NO chance

what's great about jingfu is, as i hope to never stop reminding my readers, is that they're chinese living in a chinese setting wifh chinese culture. so you can't just throw them into an actual vegas wedding situation—china has its own wedding ceremonies and the luofu must have its own technological advancements in that area too! so long story short i had a lot of fun brainstorming the wedding rituals and how it would mesh with the luofu, how people would even discover a wedding has taken place considering chinese weddings CAN technically be done without witnesses if you're feeling quirky enough (like maybe legally it's not allowed but ive seen cdramas where they do the same thing so like. me 🤝 cdramas; ignoring things for dramatic flair), and generally just trying to write their world vividly enough that it doesn't feel like Vague American Fantasy Spaceship #2432

i do think i kinda succeeded!! and even if i didn't, well, in my head i can clearly visualize it and in the end this is a fic for ME and not for yall, sorry but i come first when it comes to my fanfic :P

also i wrote my thoughts on the au while we were out with paternal relatives eating hotpot, so of course their drunken wedding feast is hotpot. i couldn't resist

also i researched chinese constellations for this because i needed more drunk activities and i figured i could do one of those "laying on the grass and pointing at the stars" except ofc it's the luofu so that's synthetic grass and false stars and their stars are also different and it would be very weird to mention ursa major or something! so i had to do research </3 i swear the things i do for my craft

Fu Xuan took Jing Yuan’s out, shoved it into his arms, and then shoved him out. He staggered out into the hallway, and then turned to blink at her, lost.

Fu Xuan rolled her eyes. “Well? What are you waiting for?”

“Oh,” Jing Yuan said. The light came back into his eyes. “Oh! Yes.”

Stupid, she thought, and closed the door. But apparently she’d said it out loud, because he yelled, muffled, “You’re the one marrying me!”

“I won’t if you don’t shut up!” Fu Xuan yelled back.

and then there’s the line “he wanted lily, and he wanted mulciber too”. which, honestly, was just an insane statement to make. why would jkr phrase it like that? she could have easily written that he was drawn to the dark arts or to voldemort if she wanted to make a point. But no, it’s “he wanted mulciber.”; i’m probably just delusional and insane but it feels so personal.

it just speaks volumes about severus as a character who is drawn to contradictory things—he’s a disaster bisexual if there ever was one lmao.

i’m not exactly sure why the snape fandom loves shipping severus with children he taught for seven years or people that sexually assaulted him (i’m new here) but oh well 😭 i just stay in my little corner and mind my own business lol.

the snulciber fics (as little as they are) eat so good the snape characterization is so nice especially because it kind of takes severus away from all those people (marauders etc.) and gives him his own set of friends and ugh, he deserves that actually.

I doubt I’ll ever go to San Francisco (America sorta scares me hahaidhbkjjh) [actually maybe I’ll visit just for you pookie 🤭🤭😍😍], but I’ll definitely let you know if I ever open an Etsy store !!! I’ll probably end up doing it once my catalogue is larger & I figure out how to get higher quality prints :))) (so,, sometime next year :D)

My prediction was right tho LOL - only one TWST print sold (my mootie who loves Riddle bought it eheheh) (actually maybe 3 sold if you include the art trade for Leona and my brother buying a Ruggie print) - and as disappointing as it was, it’s a good indicator on what to make more of in future though!! As much as i love making TWST content, I do still want to make art that sells at cons 😔😔,, i.e. I probs have to focus more on vtuber/Genshin/anime art sighhhhhh
