Marine’s guide to playing ooblets - How to get more exp per day edition!!!

Hello Hello my name is Marine and today i will be explaining how I play ooblets. I’m obsessed with the game and i want to make your life easier with these tips i guess?

I will be mentioning the names of several npcs here so on there names will be a link to their character page to make it easier for you!

1. You pretty much get exp for anything you do. Finding seeds, buying things, talking to people... You must make sure that you do that every. single. day. 

Okay now for what I do in a “day” in ooblets

First thing i do after checking the ooblets of the day list i immediately go to Meed’s seed store. I talk to her to get exp and then i buy every seed except the Lopauliflowers because you only need those for one recipe. I do this because mass farming is extremely important if you want to get rich.

Second thing i do is look at the plenny’s orders. Now the easiest ones to do are the low cost ones so for nurnies, planklets but if you want to make a lot of gummies you are going to have to go for the expensive ones like the Lurge lattys the blue goo pies, the gogo cupcakes and the most expensive of all the zinooka cake. Making 40 zinooka cakes gives you 19k gummies in one shot but it has like 5 ingredients which you need three of each and one of them is a plant that only spawns every 4 or 5 days. 

Then you go up the stairs and talk to taffy. Taffy is an npc that ears this clown suit. Then you turn to the left where the air balloon is and you talk to Gimble. After talking to Gimble before talking to Arah I go into the wildlands to check if any spicy spears have spawned. Now that is important because that ingredient is used to make your oobcoops have heating.

After checking that i go talk to Arah and then i go into the dance.

I go to the dance barn every day for 2 reasons

1. It is the fastest way to get wishies which in the beginning of the game you are going to need in order to unlock a bunch of things such as recipes, hairstyles, a bigger farm, more energy...

2. It gives you objects if you win all three matches and they give oobcoops as one of the prizes which is great because upgrading oobcoops is a hassle

After the dance barn I talk to Melda then before talking to Basil who is always in his own club in the morning Officer Zuffle appears so i talk to him. After talking to Bazil i go to the learnery and Talk to Rugnolia in her lab. 

Then you go down the stairs and there is Millew sitting on a bench so i talk to him first and then Videon is downstairs in his club and then i go back upstairs and go inside the coffee shop to talk to Dubble. After talking to dubble i go to the hair salon to talk to Padrig. Now there are three trees that produce quib. One is next to the wishy well, one is next to the hair salon and one is next to the furniture shop.

Get the Quib every time. You will thank me later.

Alright so after Padrig you’ll go to the beach and you will find Outgrid making a sand angel in the sand. You will then leave the beach area and enter the furniture shop to talk to Sprin. In that shop you can also buy oobcoops, space heaters, sprinklers etc.

Once you leave that store you ill enter the clothing store to talk to Churles. Once you have spoken to him Mayor Tinstle should finally be outside and once you have spoken to her that’s the max exp you can get from speaking to the befriendable npcs.

The next step would be to go to Mamoonia because you can get Balmybloom and  Sprockuts   there! Balmybloom is important because you can make a drink called Sootheysip and you need that in order to obtain the ooblet called Jama that only appears when it snows.

You could also go to Nullwhere to get gembers which you need if you want Gloopylonglegs!!!

Now once i have done that i will go back to badgetown and i will check on my garden.

And yeah then you’re done!

I’ll make a seperate post on how to mass farm efficiently!!!

Officer Zuffle barged right into us while Arah was talking to me smh

the lady that sells you seeds also keeps heavily implying she buried bodies and assorted evidence on your new property bc she didn’t expect people to be there.  the hot air balloon pilot is wildly unqualified and also deffo a criminal.

but like the only cop is v much a dude that seems like he wanted to be a civil servant and since no one else worked there he just went “well i guess im in charge. and i’ll be the historical society, and the notery, and--”

I only care about officer zuffle because the worst thing he seems to have done is being totally incapable of realizing when his dumbirbs are punking him. 

also if Videon is actually an alien wearing a person suit, i will flip my shit. 

Ooblets is literally the only game where stamina bars havent stressed me out.

You don't pass out or die if you run put, it just slows you down and says u need sleep. Worst case scenario is you're groggy thr next day.

I'm also not stressed about calendar issues bc seasons dont really happen.

Its good.

Hello!! I got a letter in my mail requesting 400 gummies for 5 gleamy ooblets! I checked my mail and it was just 5 suspicious painted rainbow. Can I refund?

ah unfortunately this is quite a common scam! I would suggest speaking to Officer Zuffle about this but I'm afraid he fell for the exact same scam... twice 😔
