I think i once even read a Theory, that Odin was well Odyr, the missing Husband of Freya yeah can see him doing that, to learn about the more Secrets before leaving.

Yeah, that is a common theory but I wanted Freya to have her own man among the Vanir so I didn't go with it for my story. I was thinking of saying her husband was killed by Odin in battle or something. Though I suppose that faking an identity would be in character for him, but I think he has cheated on his wives enough. He already has a mistress (Skaði) on top of the five wives. Even Zeus is only carrying on with two or three gals at once. At this rate, he has so many women he won't have time for anything else.
