is it just me or does odd! Vi just make you a little 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 like… I just get the vibe that she’s definitely weird and it’s so endearing but also just very odd. she totally has a genuine staring problem. and I feel like she’s actually quite shy. always giving you pretty leaves she found or weird little trinkets but she never tells you why😭 and when she sees them all displayed on like your bedside table the first time she hangs out w you she goes super quiet bc she can’t believe you care enough to keep it all. idk i just love her

LISTEN her being tough is the exterior to her personality. and to those who don't know her, she can appear very intimidating. like she doesn't want to be approached, and that's true, like 95% of the time.

but with you? she's so open and so genuinely herself. she's such a little oddball who says the most random things at the weirdest times. if she sees something cool, she'll immediately grab your attention because "hey doesn't that cloud look a little bit like vander?" and it doesn't but you indulge her anyway.

and her bringing you pretty leaves and trinkets is so cute, i'm gonna cry. she'll see them on the ground and keep them carefully in her pocket to show you later if you're not there. whenever she goes on raids, she'll specifically look for things that remind her of you. like an interestingly shaped screw or a pretty cog or a piece of glass that reflects blue in the sun.

and it may all seem useless and there's a time where vi worries if it's all too much and weird for you. but then she sees how you display all her gifts in your room, how you keep the leaves and flowers lovingly presses in a book. how your collection of trinkets live in a jewelry box all neatly organised and ig she falls in love with you that little bit more.

They seem to have found another spotless giraffe calf. In the wild, in Namibia.

Wow, what a coincidence! And it’s a different subspecies, the previous was reticulated and this one is an Angolan! Sending good vibes that they make it to adulthood. Read more about it here.
