#Oc:Bubba

OC-TOBER DAY 11 - SYMBOLISM/THEMES

I wanted to tap into the little "My oc in symbolism" template everyone's been using for this one!!

The basics of Bubba really is just him being a really happy-go-lucky guy, someone you know who's always looking for the bright side in things and is very passionate about the world! So the following fit his personality as so:

1 | Color - Green

Of course, he's green! He's a green caterpillar, and I didn't think much of it while initially making him. But, I enjoy thinking the green on him represents his spunky attitude and his joy!

2 | Flora - Daisy

Daisies are a very humble and simple flower that spouts the color of purity. Of course that'd fit miss Bubba over here! A simple, fun loving guy like him would have a daisy represent him very well :)

3 | Fauna - Lamb

Sure I could've done caterpillar, but in terms of him as a character and his personality, I think a lamb fits him! Young at heart, full of energy, and full of so much potential.

4 | An Object - Dairy

A dairy is a very personal item to someone. A place to just write down your emotions -- good, bad, neutral or so forth. Bubba to me would be very indulged in his day to day whereabouts finding new things to learn and enjoy. So, what better to describe him than a walking dairy?

5 | A Song - Daisy Bell

I chose this song because it went along with his flora, his lore, and just him being a cute loving guy :) He's got lots of it to show!

6 | A Feeling - Whimsy

He's just a whimsical guy in a big wide world. How couldn't you be with so much around you to explore?

OC-TOBER DAY 12 - FUTURE

CW FOR BLOOD (AT THE END) + gif heavy post! Song of choice - L'amore Dice Ciao

Bubba: "Hey, Cooper?" Bubba stared off into the distance as Cooper looked his way.

Bubba: "Do you think we'll be a duo in every universe?"

Cooper: ... Cooper's gaze wandered towards the ground in thought.

Cooper: Hm. Cooper began with a chosen answer.

Cooper: I sure hope so. Pictured, A small scene of a daisy wilted to the side. Droplets of blood fell down onto the stems, running onto the petals, leaves, and ground below.

A little vague, I know. A twist in tone? You betcha!

For future, basically, I thought of doing something to hint at some happenings to come with The Adventures of Bubba story. There's more under the whimsical, fun loving nature of the story that I've haven't touched upon.

Someday I'd like to do a dedicated series for it once I get more animation experience and so forth!

Bubba's and Cooper's future are uncertain. What defines it will come in time. For now, this is the end of the lore-specific week involving Bubba! Maybe in the future I'll drop more stuff about it / be up to answer some simple questions over it! I'll be focusing on more ocs these following upcoming prompts, with maybe this cast appearing for a prompt or two for funsies :)

OC-TOBER DAY 1 - FAV OC

RAAHH OC-TOBER MOMENT!!!! I'm doing the bweirdoctober prompts once again with different ocs!

My fav oc as of this year has to go to my boy, Bubba (He/She, Bigender)! He's a silly caterpillar guy who loves to go on adventures with his friend, Cooper, and occasionally others! You may have seen him on my artfight profile / card and now is the excuse to throw him into the wild <3

Made'em for a college project and he's just my blorbo now :)

I'll talk about him and his deal more once the later prompts come around!

OC-TOBER DAY 6 - PAST

Likewise, I will be focusing on Bubba (He/She) for this week --

I just kinda wanted an excuse to draw little baby Bubba for this one! He was a goober as a baby and was very loved by his parents <3

He also met his best friend, Cooper, as a little kid! I wanted an excuse to do a little doodle of them as well:

They're the bestest of friends!!! You'll probably see more of cooper as this week goes on :)

OC-TOBER DAY 31 - COSTUMES

Looks like mister bubberton got the gang to dress up, but the ""matching outfits"" were definitely a choice.

RAAHHH LAST DAY!!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a sketch for this one since I'm running low on art juices, but I felt like ending off this OC tober with my bubba crew! I was gonna do other ocs but I'm addicted to doodling these goobers <3

Here are their costumes I had!

In order: Bubba is an apple, just with some gloves and boots! Cooper is a worm, lets just say its not his favorite Mateo is...a book?? I mean sure! Lady is a Vampire! Now thats a bit more fitting! Pepper is a werewolf! She wanted to be a mad scientist, but she had to match Lady for the occasion <3 (Credit to @cherryspotart for the silly ideas of Bubba's, Cooper's, and Mateo's outfits!)

AND THATS IT FOR THE YEAR!!!! I'll be back for next OCtober next year!!!
