A STORY BEHIND EVERY SCAR:

A list of Lily’s scars + short descriptions of how she got them. Triggering material will be put under a read more.

TW: mentions of child abuse below cut.

Right arm, spanning from the top of the shoulder to just above the top of her wrist. The most obvious scar she has if she’s not wearing her jacket / a long sleeved shirt. This scar was made when the blade first formed during her childhood years and has remained ever since. Grows a dark grey-ish hue when the blade is about to form or when she hasn’t taken her shot in a while.

A tiny thread-thin 1-1/2 inch scar above her left wrist. Scratch from a vampire that just barely missed her but still left a mark, barely noticeable at all.

Tiny fading marks on her left hand’s fingertips, just from accidentally knicking herself as an adolescent when she just barely touched the edge of her blade

Three thin scratch-like marks in the middle of her back. A werewolf got too close for comfort and scratched down her back during one of her first missions on the field. 

Thick one inch scar on lower left abdomen. Leftover from a knife wound sustained at a bar fight in New York. Someone got too close to her, she retaliated when he tried to touch her, and the fight escalated from there.

Two inch slash wound scar on her right side. Acquired during her first fight with Kent Brennan, a would-be religious shaman who had summoned ‘Ferrum Un Arce’ when Lily’s parents came to him for fertility assistance.

Two thin two-inch scars on upper right abdomen. Another werewolf attack, though this happened much later in her career than the first one.

Multiple fading scratch scars on right leg. Sustained when a vampyre nest got out of hand. Thankfully, there weren’t too many in there, and she had it handled until the very last one, who of which tore at her legs with its claws when she nearly had it down for the count.

TW: ABUSE MENTION: Three tiny fading marks on the right side of her front abdomen and another three on the lower right side of her back. Acquired during the last few years in which she stayed in her hometown as well as when she was on the run.

TW: ABUSE MENTION: A thick gnarly scar in the form of a nearly finished cross on the back of her right shoulder. 1-1/2 inch in length vertically and a half inch horizontally. Inflicted upon her by her parents with the assistance of a priest who advised them that carving this symbol would help “get rid of” the blade. Lily was able to get away from them before the cross was finished.
