M A I N V E R S E ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ | ᶰᵒ ˡᵒᶰᵍᵉʳ ʷᵃᶤᵗᶤᶰᵍ ᵒᶰ ˢᵘᵖᵉʳ ᵖᵒʷᵉʳᵉᵈ ᵐᵉᶰ

A recognized hero in her own right, Misty seeks to distance herself from what she feels is a heavy reliance on the super powered men in her life. Sparked solely by a deep seeded and misdirected disappointment in whom she assumes is her ex. As part of the pilgrimage back to her roots, Misty’s aligned herself as a key player to Sam Wilson’s Captain America operation. An act that only helps to prove and solidify her status as a force to be reckoned with. Although, even Misty’s not too sure who she’s trying to prove her self worth to because that’s exactly what this is.

- mostly canon compliant with current comics - acknowledges pre-established head canons - predisposed to be disappointed in Danny (unless stated or discussed) - mains will be a priority for plots

S E C O N D A R Y V E R S E ᵛᵉʳˢᵉ | ʰᵃʳˡᵉᵐˢ ˢʷᵉᵉᵗᵉˢᵗ ᵍᵒᵈᵈᵃᵐᶰ ˡᵘˡˡᵃᵇʸ

A slightly younger Misty Knight who knows exactly the type of badass feats she’s capable of. She’s hardly opposed to putting in the hard yards to stalk justice at the street level rather than wait around for someone else to seek it out, normally far later. A previous member of the Defenders, a Hero for Hire and still a keen eyed detective on the side... she ain’t your regular super powered hero. In fact, she’s out there repping it for those who are pretty damn ordinary.

Misty doesn’t have a specific Danny I successfully ship her with at this point, but if she did it’d be tagged like so. Still very much a work in progress.

Misty’s relationship with Sam extends far beyond the title of Captain America’s muscle. In fact, the term cushy partnership doesn’t define their relationship either. Born out of a desire to keep herself invested to the cause, she finds herself willingly caught up in functional black love with someone who she can lean on for support and will call her out on the bullshit.

An established ship that normally coincides with the main verse. Misty/Sam is exclusive to beyondinjustice for now.
