Her family reached out to Hen Mazzig on Instagram since he has such a big following, and since sharing video is much easier/faster there than from news sites.

hey, jumblr: just wanna let you know that Arbel Yehud's family has asked that people NOT share video of her being released. They've approved the video where she reunites with Gadi Moses (in front of a red building/background), and the photos of Arbel with them in the hospital. But they don't want to keep seeing the photos/videos of her surrounded by terrorists at the hand-off to Red Cross.

#idk what to tag this #actually i'm kind of annoyed that you're casting aspersions??#most of the families want privacy but understandably the jewish community abroad and in israel want to see their people #the bibas family has-- ahead of yarden's scheduled released-- ALREADY begged for privacy bc the way people have been harassing #OTHER families about the bibas children has been really ghoulish and tone-deaf.#maybe if a family asks for privacy then you should err on the side of caution and give them that privacy. i don't know. seems decent to me #emily damari's family had to keep it a secret that emily is gay bc they were frightened for her safety... and even Haaretz ignored that #request! so maybe there aren't official statements in official media bc the media and the government keep circulating these horrors #both to show the world the treatment of the hostages and also because they know it generates clicks
