In honor of the Finestkind trailer being released, and our first glimpse of our dear Mabel whatever you do, don't imagine...

Enid so overcome with happiness at her wife giving birth to their new puppy who already looks like the spitting image of Mabel, that she gleefully leaves the hospital room for 5 minutes.

5 minutes. That's all it takes.

5 minutes to run and get her brave, brave superhero wife some damn ice chips and when she comes back there's chaos in the room.

The room where her whole world is in.

The room that was once filled with encouraging words of love and half hearted threats on Enids' life, now filled with blaring sirens on montors that will haunt Enid's nightmares for the rest of her life.

Filled with doctors and nurses running around in what seems to be a controlled panic.

A horrified Enid being gently but firmly removed from the doorway by the same middle aged kind nurse that had just spent 9 hours in that very room with the anxious first time parents to be.

Enid slowly sliding to the floor, eyes that were getting duller and colder by the second, stuck on the doorway containing all her hopes and dreams, wishing to any God above or below that she wasn't a werewolf at that moment. That her stupid dog ears didn't hear a doctor utter the words that broke her soul to pieces, didn't tear a mother away from knowing her child, didn't tear away the person that finally brought peace and love to Enids tormented life.

" Stop everyone, she's gone...someone call it"
