Okay so making a planet that's inhospitable into one humans can live on is called terraforming-
What is taking an inhospitable place on earth and making it suitable for people to live called? Is there a generalized term or is it all specialized like the Dutch land reclamation or China's Green Great Wall?

should i get stickers or buttons....
