At 3 AM, your whole house was still, the only sounds in the room being the soft rhythm of your breathing. You lay sound asleep, curled up under the warm blankets, unaware of the soft gaze Roman had fixed on you. His heart swelled with affection as he watched the rise and fall of your chest. He couldn’t help it. He was drawn to you in ways he couldn’t fully explain. Even though he should be asleep, he couldn’t fall into a slumber no matter how hard he tried, the back to back flights had completely destroyed his sleep schedule.

Roman had always been the quiet type, the type of guy who often got shy, especially away from his WWE persona, but when it came to you, he felt a need to be close, to feel your presence. The way you looked so peaceful, so beautiful in your slumber, made his heart skip a beat. Slowly, he leaned in, brushing a piece of hair away from your face, his fingers grazing your soft skin.

A soft sigh left his lips as he pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead, lingering there longer than he had intended. Your face remained peaceful, your breath unchanging. He smiled to himself, unable to stop. Every time his lips met your skin, a little spark of joy spread inside him.

"You're perfect" Roman murmured under his breath, his lips now tracing the line of your jaw as he gently kissed his way down. He could feel your warmth against him, and it felt so right to be close to you like this. He kissed your cheek, then your neck, as if trying to memorize every inch of you. His heart raced a little faster with each kiss, his mind flooded with the tenderness he felt for you.

He pulled back briefly, watching your peaceful face for a moment. Then, before he could stop himself, he kissed your lips, just a brief, tender press of his mouth against yours. He couldn't resist the urge to remind himself that you were really here, that you were his.

He mumbled softly, "I love you.." though you remained asleep, unaware. Roman nestled closer to you, wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you in gently. He kissed the top of your head and sighed, feeling like he was exactly where he was meant to be.
