Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week (PIFW)

De Plaza Indonesia Fashion Week (PIFW) werd dit jaar voor de 12e keer gehouden. Het evenement vond plaats tussen 18 en 24 maart 2019 en er waren maar liefst 18 modeshows. Wat het dit jaar zeer bijzonder maakte waren de 8 kindermodeshows.

Er waren onder andere shows van Chicco, The Children's Place, Kids Station, Wilio, Gingersnap, Kakapo en Mothercare. In Nederland is Chicco vooral bekend van de kinderschoenen maar ze maken nog veel meer... De deelname van Mothercare, ELC, Gingersnaps en Wilio waren (ook) bedoeld om de nieuwste collecties te demonstreren van zowel moeder- als kindermode. Carter's en Oshkosh B'Gosh presenteerden hun nieuwste Spring Summer-collectie die er zeer stijlvol uitziet. Alle collecties werden bovendien gepresenteerd door schattige modellen die de Plaza Indonesia Kids Fashion Week een geheel nieuwe look gaven. Gezien de vele positieve reactie`s die tijdens en na de kindermode shows zijn ontvangen zal dit zeker navolging gaan krijgen. De laatste paar jaar komen er steeds meer initiatieven op kindermode en kinderkledinggebied vanuit de zgn. opkomende economieën Wordt vast en zeker vervolgd.
