#imagine Cas hearing a prayer from Dean in the language of angels beamed straight into his brain #teaching Dean how to speak enochian becomes Cas's best and worst idea

Dean asks Cas to teach him Enochian.

So Cas teaches him Enochian.

They sit together in the bunker - chairs next to each other, elbow to elbow, books spread out around them, and Dean learns the language of the Angels from his own.

Dean makes quips about Cas being his teacher, and offhandedly asks what he can possibly do to get extra credit.... Cas looks at him with complete and utter incomprehension while Dean has an internal meltdown at how that came out without meaning it to.

Dean's actually very focused when he has a goal - so he studies and he reads and he's genuinely a good student. He practices his pronunciation (which Cas has said 'is fine' but said it with the expression of someone in pain, so he knows it sucks) while he's cooking or in the shower, and Sam remarks more than once how Dean could have gone to college.

Dean still gets frustrated when he can't remember a certain word too many times, or can't wrap his head around a specific turn of phrase, but he also kind of loves it when he says something and Cas smiles with amusement at what he's said. It dawns on him that he's the one speaking strangely in Cas's language now, instead of the other way around.

The first time Dean speaks in almost fluent conversational Enochian he is so proud and pleased but Cas looks like hes going to throw up, and Dean thinks he must have got something wrong again. He doesn't know that Cas is having to physically hold himself back from immediately exiting his vessel and shattering every window in Lebanon with the force of his joy.

donna saying she doesn't feel anything after kissing harvey is so like, oddly a way of her just going back to protecting him and also shutting down her own feelings obviously because when you look at them kissing in 7x10 you know that literally every feeling is there. she walks up to him with such confidence to kiss him. winds her arms around his neck like it's second nature. they're so gentle in it, and it's so soft, it's everyday and it doesn't have to be passionate because the years have worn them into tired souls, she's so tired, but she loves him. she holds him with love. and then she says she doesn't feel anything because harvey is mad, and she knows she fucked up, and she's trying to protect him just a little by backtracking and closing the door and saying she's done (but it's really just because she's tired.)

also like, ive thought about this a lot, like obviously from her perspective by telling him she doesn’t feel anything she’s trying to protect him BUT FROM HIS HE THINKS SHES REJECTING HIM!!!! SHE KISSED HIM AND TOLD HIM IT DIDNT MEAN ANYTHING TO HER.. and how its like a pattern (from his point of view/limited perspective) everytime they get close, it ends with her rejecting him in some way… like they flirt in the DAs office, she turns him down bc of her rule, he tells her HE LOVES HER, she ends up working for louis. and then! she KISSES HIM! and tells him it didn’t mean anything!!! (and like obviously all of those things made sense i’m not in any way blaming her) im saying to harvey’s traumatized little monkey brain he associates them getting close with her rejecting him!!! so he learns to keep his distance!!!
