jaggedtooth has the right idea. if shit sucks, hit the bricks!
HE DOES and deadass this is the reason I didn't keep him in one of the Clans. He's right. Jaggedtooth went above and beyond for Tigerstar in-canon and really didn't do anything wrong.
The worst thing he's ever done is help install Tigerstar in power by biting one of his claws off for him. Ok, a false sign-- that's not good but in his mind, this is the one chance he'll have to become a real warrior. It's loyalty. And when Tigerstar didn't make him deputy, Jaggedtooth didn't hit the bricks THEN because power's just a bonus to him, not his goal.
After this, he takes Rowanpaw as his apprentice and seems to train him well. He joins TigerClan and isn't shown to have ever killed anyone. The only other notable thing he did? Was when he passed guard of the halfclan cats over to Ravenpaw after the execution of Stonefur.
I was going to have the guards get knocked out in my rewrite by the insurgent group inside of TigerClan (Deerfoot, Primrosepaw, Mosspelt, others), but I may just make Jaggedtooth a collaborator of theirs, since the False Claw Sign is being removed in my rewrite. Bonefall Jaggedtooth is a good dude.
He still fights for BloodClan, though. On one hand, I'm sure he does want to be on the winning side and is hedging his bet on Scourge. On the other hand... he's really sick of the Clans. Jag's seen the worst of it, and has decided he doesn't really want to be part of this life.
I could make him the sire of Tangleburr's kits, though, since she'll probably be claiming Queen's Rights anyway. They could maintain a friendship after the BloodClan battle.
