garak and bashirs parenting styles are reversed for grandparenting. julian's a total sap for his grandkids, taking them on trips and buying them elaborate educational toys. garak is the reserved victorian grandfather smoking a pipe in the study talking about The Old Days and ordering them around (especially in the garden, his knees aren't what they used to be.)

Bashir is still annoyed at the passage of time seeing fit to give his children (who, in his mind, are still kids) children of their own. Rude!

im kinda toyin with the idea that sun and moon don't HAVE to switch out depending on the lights. Like it would be easier on them and be more natural for them, but if they both pushed for it I think they could resist it maybe. Like Sun's busy doing something, and the lights go out but he really wants to finish it Moon would resist his own urge to swap in that way Sun could finish his task first. Or if Moon was chasing someone and had to go through an area of light then Sun would resist his side of the swap so that he wouldn't risk slowing Moon down.

Or you could go the angsty route with Moon feeling guilty for what he did under the virus's control and deciding to just. Never come out again, and Sun being scared of possible repercussions/risks of Moon hurting someone else just lets him.
