You paused before turning to stare at the fox who turned to look at you. Her bright green eyes were wide as she gave you the most confused you had ever seen.

“Sooooo uh are you guys from an AU or something?” The fox asked, looking at your Wheatley before looking at you again.

“I don’t know…” you said before sighing and looking at the Wheatleys “Are you two done arguing?”

“I uh- I think so…” replied the fox’s Wheatley before smiling at her.

The fox nodded “So, should we introduce ourselves?” You and your Wheatley nodded. The fox spoke again “I’m FoxGirl87, or Fox. (Un)professional inter-dimensional being, goober collector, and character creator.”

Fox’s Wheatley began to speak but she quickly cut him off “And that over there is the best guy you’ll ever lay your eyes upon, my husband, Wheatley!” She said proudly, causing her Wheatley to blush and look away.

Fox turned to you “And you are?”

“I’m Benrey.” You said quickly, what Fox had said to introduce herself made everything more confusing than it already was. What you wanted now was to just to get out of there.

“I’m also Wheatley!” Your Wheatley cut in, almost like he was trying to interrupt you but was too late.

“That’s uh-“ Before her Wheatley could talk, Fox cut in “New names could work… eh, too confusing.”

“More confusing than both of us being named Wheatley?” Your Wheatley asked, tilting his head like a dog would.

“I mean, what if something serious happens? I just think it would mood” Fox said. Both you and your Wheatley scoffed causing her Wheatley to speak “Sorry… she’s just really into stuff like that…”

You shook your head “It’s fine, I get it.”

“Ahem!” Fox taped one of her “back” paws as she pointed down one of the hallways “Are we going or what?” You and her Wheatley nodded before following her down the hallway.

After a few minutes of walking, Fox lessened her pace to walk beside you “Are you with him?” She asked you, eyeing your Wheatley.

You turned to look at Fox with confusion but she only gave you a smug smile “What? No.” You said. Despite the fact that you tried to speak confidently, a tone of uncertainty still lingered.

Fox opened her mouth to speak but quickly shut it with a snap and put her paw to her chin. She shook her head and looked back at you “…He’s a good one, I’ll let you keep him.” She smiled softly at you.

“I- uh- thanks..?” You said, quickly looking away from Fox, only to find your eyes on your Wheatley… your Wheatley.

Your attention was broken by Fox quickly running up to her Wheatley and giving him a tight hug “Hey-! Luv, you can’t just scare me like that!”

“You know you like it!” Fox said as she began to walk next to him while holding his hand.

You turned back to your Wheatley who now had a hint of jealousy on his face.
