went to a zoo today and it turns out they had bats! I had no idea beforehand and it's made me so happy!!!!!! They were Egyptian Fruit Bats and when I first saw them they were eating breakfast and when I came back to nab a photo they all were sleeping in a big group :)

#I also got to see some raccoons!!! I've never seen a raccoon irl before :)#They had loads of cool primates and some very active coatis and a shit ton of wolves too#Egyptian fruit bat#SOOOOOO happy#Also the park was inexplicably dinosaur themed and they were all very inaccurate but one was home to a bunch of wild native bats!#OH AND I SAW A HUGE CANE TOAD. HE WAS AWESOME
