Reunion Part One
"Why are there so many kids out front?" a young sea monster named Lagoona asked, looking at a young vampire.
"Oh, it's Reunion Night. Happens every year," the pink vampire, Draculaura, responds, seemingly flippant.
"What's that?" She frowns and a young werewolf appears.
"It's when all your siblings come, like Winnie and Sibella from Miss Grimwood's," the wolf, named Clawdeen, told her, eyes lighting up.
"My sister, Mavis, has been managing the castle with her boyfriend, Johnny. Sibella's been at Miss Grimwood's and Fangelica's been with my cousins, Thad and Klaus," Draculaura informed Lagoona.
"Miss Grimwood's?" Lagoona frowned.
"Yeah, it's kind of like Monster High but for kids. My little sister, Winnie, Frankie's little/older sister, Elsa, Cleo's baby sister, Tanis, Sibella, and Operetta's half-sister, Phantasma, have been attending there," Clawdeen grinned, a flash of pearl white fangs.
"Wasn't there five daughters of Dracula?" a young ghost with bright purple hair asks, floating through the wall.
"You mean Rose," Draculaura sighs, eyes downcast. Rose, her elder sister, at 1913 years, was the rebel of the family. She, Draculaura supposed, had tired of the perfect image she had reflected through her childhood and had drastically changed when left on her own while attending the Transylvanian Academy for Vampire Royalty. While they weren't princesses or anything like that, their father's spot on the council gave them passes to the school. Though Rose was actually descended from a vampire queen.
"Yeah, her. Whatever happened to her? Rumor said she just disappeared," Draculaura bit her lip, afraid to speak the truth of her sister's whereabouts.
"Drac? You can tell us," Clawdeen said, trying to comfort her friend.
"My sister attended a school, at the time it seemed the best option. It was a good school, or so we thought. We didn't see her after she left. We didn't see her after she turned 1300 and went off to school. Just before I turned 1300, the school was shut, most of the students fleeing. My sister included. It was never clear why the school shut down, it just did. The students haven't been seen since. There was Gory's sister and cousin, Bram's twin sister, Bram's niece, Valentine's older sister, Elissabat's sister, and Batsy's four cousins. Lost, never to be seen again," Draculaura's eyes were sad.
"No one knows what happens?" Spectra, the ghost, questioned.
"No," Draculaura sighs sadly.
"Hey! Look, Sophie, Charlotte, Sunny, Wally, Wilbur, Wilson, Whoopi, Wade, Weepy, Wayne, Win, Mavis, Johnny, Pedro, Rusy, and Hank are here!" he four gathered ghouls were nearly mowed down as Frankie, youngest daughter of Frankenstein, and Cleo, middle daughter of the Mummy, raced through the halls, eager to see their siblings, or in Cleo's case, cousins. Clawdeen shook her head but followed, immediately being attacked by her younger brothers while her sister simply stood by, sucking on her pacifier. Draculaura froze as her eyes landed on her sister, stomach round in her pregnancy.
"Mavy!" she ran over to her sister, "You're pregnant?"
"Yep, six months. I decided to surprise you! You're gonna be an auntie!" Mavis squealed excitedly while her husband, Johnny, had a huge grin on his face.
"Oh my ra! Rusty! You got new wraps!" Rusty, Cleo's cousin, was a slender man, approaching his seven hundredth birthday with blonde hair and blue eyes. His blonde hair was tipped with gold, rather like his cousin's golden streaks.
"Cost me a pyramid or two but you know mummy, she doesn't let us get anything cheap!" Rusty grinned before being knocked aside as his brother crushed Cleo in a hug. Rusty growled under his breath before he pulled his brother off their much smaller cousin.
"Sorry about him," Rusty grunted, a sheepish look appearing on his face.
"I'm not surprised," she shook her head in amusement.
Across the yard, a group of four had gathered, three girls with a single boy. The boy was quite stocky while the girls were all slim. The two girls, the youngest, had light green skin while the girl had a much paler tone, being off-white. The boy had a slight blue tint to his green skin.
"Oh, I missed you, Hank!" Frankie cried, grinning happily.
"What about me!" Alivia pouted, the bolts protruding from his head sparking as she held up her camera and took a quick picture.
"Yes, I missed you too, Alivia," Frankie laughed, ruffling her sister's hair. Suddenly, a bright red bus pulled up and they watched as eight monster kids and a much older witch piled out of the back and a normie with two dogs got out of the front.
"Sibella!" Draculaura cried, rushing to embrace her younger sister.
"Drac! Mavy!" Sibella cried, hugging Draculaura and giving Mavis a kiss on her cheek.
"Where's Fang?" Sibella asked, a frown turning her light purple lips.
"Not here yet. The bus stopped by the Wolf family's place and should be here soon," Draculaura soothed, a smile fighting it's way onto her lips.
"Frankie Stein! Hank N Stein! Alivia Stein!" came the loud voice of Elsa Frankensteen, causing her sisters and elder brother to pile on top of her in their effort to give the teenager a hug, causing a massive shock wave.
"Spectra! Operetta!" shouted a young ghost, racing to give her two half-sisters a hug.
"I missed you, Phant," Spectra grinned, giving her ghostly sister a hug.
"I missed you two, Spec, and you, Retta," Phantasma grinned, beaming at the red-haired phantom.
"Clawdeen! Howleen! Clawd!" a young werewolf raced towards them, tackling the three teens to the ground.
"Win!" they wheezed in unison, shocked at the strength their younger sister possessed.
"Awesome, right?" the orange-haired were-pup beamed. Her three elder siblings glanced at each other before they broke out laughing. Suddenly, Win was pushed to the ground and an innocent looking Winnie sat perched on her back.
"Luca? Is that you?" Lagoona cried, spotting her half-sister holding tightly onto the witch's robes. Lagoona rushed over and picked up the much smaller monster.
"Goona!" she cried, hugging the blue sea monster tightly.
"Cleo! Rusty!" a small mummy girl launched herself into Cleo's arms, her bandages getting tangled.
"You've got me all tied up!" she giggled, blue eyes gleaming.
"Missed you, kid," Rusty grinned while Cleo hugged her baby sister tightly.
"Nova?" a young alien muttered, glancing around for her elder sister.
"Right here, space kook," a blue alien grinned as she picked up her sister.
"Astranova, meet Zilla!" the small green alien grinned, motioning towards the much larger daughter of Godzilla.
"Hi," Astranova gulped.
"Hello, me name be Zillonia!" The monster introduced, her voice a deep rumble though fairly warm in nature causing Astranova's shoulders to relax.
"You know how to pick 'em, Galaxine," Astranova said, making the smaller girl beam. A big black bus pulled in front of the school, three decks high and spanning the mass of a fully shifted dragon. All six doors opened and a whirlwind of pups followed by Lagoona's family came out the first one. The second door had three vampires walking out, one's head held high. The third had a young zombie woman walking out. The other three held a whirlwind of ghosts, goblins, wolves', and monsters, joining their monster families.
"Daddy! Mom! Tadpole! Dewy! Squirt! Kelpie!" Lagoona cried and rushed over to her family with Luca still in her arms. The duo was met with hugs, making them disappear in a mass of blue and green.
"Howlmilton, Howldon, Howlston, Clawnor, Pawla, Barker, Weredith, and Packlyn! Front in center!" a young werewolf with golden blonde hair called, causing the eight pups to line up in front of them as they waited for their parents, Wayne and Harriett Wolf.
"How do you do that?" Harriett questions, amazed as the five kids who listened, rounded their siblings over to join them.
"Oh my fur, it's good to see you!" Clawdeen shouts, hugging Clawdia and prompting the pups to immediately jump onto their elder siblings, parents, or Winnie, making them all fall to the ground.
"Uhhhhh," two zombies met in the center, trading moans back and forth. Though no one paid much attention to them.
"Klaus!" Mavis glared as she spotted her cousin.
"Mavis!" Klaus glared in return, sending the hatred back twice as potent.
"Umm, maybe enough with the glaring?" Draculaura suggests, nudging Mavis away from their least favorite cousin.
"Maybe he should learn to take the heat!" Mavis hisses, much to Johnny befuddlement.
"They don't like each other," the young vampire that had been walking next to the two elder vampires whispered to the human.
"Noticed," Johnny whispered back, though shocked at his wife's frosty greeting.
"I don't think-" Sibella tried to interrupt.
"No one asked you!" Klaus snapped.
"Don't start on her!" Mavis snarled angrily.
"Shut up, the both of you!" Thad, the last member of the family, snapped, anger in his red eyes. Silence rang over the family, unused to the fairly quiet Thad shouting, "Can't you two give it a rest? Mavis is obviously pregnant, which means new blood so give it a rest!"
"You do know that's impossible, hmm?" a voice came from behind the infuriated vampire. The entire family turned, shock making them silent. Before them, dressed in a skin tight pair of black jeans, a skin tight long sleeve black shirt, black leather fingerless gloves, a black leather jacket, and black leather combat boots paired with a necklace that had a blood-red stone hanging from it was a young vampire with pitch black hair with red streaks and blood red eyes. Next to her stood a young werewolf with light brown fur and dark brown- almost black- hair and silver eyes. He was dressed similarly, though his jeans were deep blue boot cut, his shirt was a simple black button down, and his boots were a pair of Frye's Harness 8R boots, he did have on a leather jacket and pair of fingerless leather gloves that seemed to be a masculine copy of the vampire's.
"Rose," Draculaura breathed.
