#OC: Storyteller/Ermina

A small animation I made of Storyteller and Corvis because they are evil besties

Two of my original characters that I love very much are Storyteller and Sir Corvus

If you don't want to hear my talk about my ocs, feel free to ignore this but I just had to write this down,, I love talking about my ocs and ideas

Corvus was a human, but when he died from the plague he became a crow/raven monster. He worked as a doctor and a plague doctor in his life, so that's why he resembles a plague doctor in his death.

Storyteller, also known as Ermina, was never human. I'm not exactly sure what she is, but she is powerful and is monster-like. She is an anthropomorphic ermine, but for my story she is in her more human form (though she still has fur and paws and a weasel nose). She does have powers, but she's actually more interested in writing and telling tales.

The two are very different, basically complete opposites. Corvus is a very serious and calm bird who is very formal in his speech. Ermina is very hyperactive and chaotic. The two are best friends forever. They bounce off of each other easily. Corvus grounds Ermina and Ermina lets Corvus have fun.

I am in love with their relationship as a Villainous Duo. They are very close and I see Ermina leaning on Corvus or floating up behind him to be his height since that bird is much taller than her. They have been friends since around the end of the plague in London, so they know each other very well.

I also am working on a drawing of Storyteller and Corvis :D This is very obviously a WIP (I mean I forgot a hand-)

Ermina and Sage sketches!!

I’ve mentioned before that Ermina’s human form isn’t her true form. It’s kinda like a poor disguise to make her fit in with the human cast I suppose?

This is their true form! A giant weasel! Or ermine!

I was thinking that at the end of the story, she and Sage could have some big fight against each other! I think that’ll be cool! :D

Time to show my silly little protagonist and antagonist!

Sage, a normal teenager trying to live life, and Ermina, someone who loves chaos and messing with people

I’m currently redesigning Sage and I might rework Storyteller’s in the future after I get current characters their first ref-

I don’t know how many times I’ve said this but Storyteller and Corvis are two of my favorite ocs fr fr

They are just two silly guys!! (Literally kidnapped a bunch of teenagers to be in a story filled with monsters)

Their friendship is something I do genuinely like to.

I have my ideas out into a google doc and that basis of their relationship is that:

Corvis was a human doctor and then plague doctor during the times of the plague. He was good at his job, but he was a rude man.

Then here comes Ermina who would pester him all the time and eventually Corvis stopped trying to avoid her.

He would listen to her stories and ideas and she would get him special plants/herbs for medicine use and help him improve his reading/writing skills. He soon died due to sickness and became a crow-like monster. He and Ermina met again soon after and they stayed together ever since.

Corvis has undying loyalty to Storyteller as she made his life brighter with their friendship. She probably also helped him find a new name. (Corvis isn’t his human name)

Ermina, at the same time, loves Corvis in a very platonic way (aroace moment). She feels the most comfortable around him. She loves how much of a great listener he is and how kind he is to her.

The two being complete opposites also adds a fun dynamic to them. Ermina is more hyperactive and chaotic while Corvis is much more reserved and calm. Ermina gets Corvis to actually do fun things and Corvis makes sure Ermina doesn’t get too reckless.

The two of them care so much about each other and would do anything to help the other. They’ve also known each other for a few centuries so they are very good friends haha

And going back to it, they’re probably both aroace but don’t label themselves. Ermina because she doesn’t care for labels that much and Corvis because he doesn’t know that term until someone else tells him-
