Devon's prone form lay on the bloodstained ground, skin burned and smoking, branded with the runes of the binding circle that surrounded her.

"I won't let you hurt her," Blake said, stepping between their friend and the man in front of her.

The hunter rolled his eyes. "Get out of the way, kid. This is none of your business."

They felt a growl begin to grow deep within their throat, and their eyes flashed red. "It is very much my business, motherfucker. Get away from her."

"Oh, shut up, ki— ah!"

Blake leaped at the hunter, their claws and teeth extending instantly. The two of them tumbled to the ground, and Blake shifted fully into wolf form, snapping at his neck as they tussled in the dirt.

Suddenly, they felt a horrible, burning pain in their side, and looked to see a knife imbedded in their torso. The hunter grinned wildly as he wrenched the blade, digging it farther into Blake's flesh. They howled and rolled away, the knife ripping through their skin as it got yanked out.

They struggled to their feet, transforming back into a semi-human form, and scrambled over to Devon.

The hunter stood up, the grin on his face even wider.

Blake snarled at him, their hackles raised as they paced in front of Devon protectively. Their eyes were locked on him, on his silver knife dripping with their blood.

"A werewolf, and one with such control over their transformation? Fascinating." He laughed, moving towards them with his blade raised. "Only thought I'd be killing one monster today, but it looks like I got lucky! Sure a good thing I brought something silver, huh? It does the job fine for taking out the devil's spawn, but on lycanthropes? Why, I'm pretty sure it's downright lethal."

Blake growled. "I'm sure I could take it."

The hunter raised an eyebrow, looking at the blood pouring out of the gaping, pulpy mess the silver blade made of their side. "I'm not so sure about that... besides, it's not you I'm here for, anyway, so I'm not opposed to just putting this straight through your heart. That's no fun, I know, but sometimes we have to be direct. There ain't no way you'll be surviving that."

"Another fucking word and I'll rip your throat out."

"I'd like to see you try," he said.

"Oh?" Blake bared their teeth in a mockery of a smile. "Alright, then, boss... whatever you say."

They charged.

I. FAVOURITE MUSE(S) YOU’VE WRITTEN?

I adored  every muse whilst I wrote them & the ONLY other muse besides F*nch that I’ve actually written here on tumblr was my L*ki. Now, however, F*nch has been my favorite simply because I ... have such a LARGER VARIETY of things I can write with him. I’ve also never had such a GOOD experience with fandom like this, I’ve never been a part of a group of rpers from canon that jived & connected as well as all of us do in the POI rp fandom ???  I’ve just had such a wonderful experience here.

II. WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO TAKE ON YOUR CURRENT MUSE (THAT YOU ARE POSTING THIS ON)?

WELL, I was introduced to POI by one of my very best friends ( @wrathrisen​, bc of one of their OC’s had F*nch from POI as a fc & I eventually caved ) & I binged it before season 5 was released, whilst they were on their in-between seasons hiatus. & pretty much, I just ... I realized when I had to ASK someone who was also watching the show to warn me if F*nch was going to die when season 5 was over that I had ... VERY VERY deep feelings about this character. Very deep feelings that I couldn’t  ignore. I lurked around in the tags, looking to see if I could find any POI rpers around & there was only ONE other F*nch & one R*ese that I could find at the time & ... they rly did inspire me a lot. They weren’t rly active anymore but I read thru their stuff, listened to their playlists on their blogs & I just. I just kept making myself RLY EMOTIONAL. After that realization, I toyed with the ideas of urls & stuff & the one I CURRENTLY have was one that came to mind when my dad & I were driving home from doing something. I checked it’s availability as soon as I got home &, since it was free, it felt a lot like .... a good sign that I SHOULD do it. & I am so, SO very glad that I did.

III. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE ASPECTS OF YOUR CURRENT MUSE?

One of the main things I LOVE about this character is how complex he is. How much of a mystery he is & how, the more we gradually learn about him, the more he really truly becomes like an ACTUAL PERSON. All POI characters are so, SO deeply real like that but F*nch especially, he’s so heavily guarded & it makes you just ... constantly wonder about him & every time he’s on screen he’s ... very difficult to predict. In order to UNDERSTAND him, you’ve got to understand how his mind works & that is ... a challenge. His OVERWHELMING intelligence is also a huge favorite. One of the things I’ve always deeply connected to & admired in characters is intelligence. I’m always drawn to the genius characters & like ... I’m drawn to the fact that he is so, SO intelligent & also incredibly wise, & despite all of this he’s able to admit when he’s wrong & change. He also struggles with certain things & he lowkey flip flops a bit with those things, he goes back & forth with those things which ... is something I very rarely see in characters. His development with his struggle with how he views The Machine is a very good testament to that & like ... that’s something I try very very hard to keep in mind, it’s a unique thing to see characters do that. I love that he is such a rational person, not only LOGICALLY but emotionally as well, he’s very intuitive even though he feels as though he struggles with truly understanding people. I LOVE HOW CHARMING & CHARISMATIC HE IS WITHOUT TRYING ??  I love that he’s smol & relatively weaker than everyone he surrounds himself with but he still has high authority, they still RESPECT & revere him even tho arguably they could kill him pretty easily. I love that two trained ex-CIA assassins, a mob boss & an ex-hacker-assassin for hire would kill for him if he ever asked them to ( but he REFUSES to do so ) ???  HOW DID THAT HAPPEN ???  I love how he’s literally been through absolute HELL but he still for the most part always decides to try to see the best in people, he always chooses HOPE. I love that he is lowkey soft & that he has zero traces of toxic masculinity. 

This might sound odd, but I ALSO love that he’s a disabled character ??  & that it’s handled & written very, VERY well. I adore that aspect & I love being able to write it, since ... disability & chronic pain aren’t written about enough. I love that it was always a subtle, but very distinct detail that was always present but they didn’t make it a huge focus point. It was IMPORTANT, but ... in a different way, like. It was just an important part of his identity. I ALSO LOVE that he’s largely ( imo ) portrayed as an asexual character !!!  Hi guys I love a lot of things about H*rold F*nch.

IV. WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION WHEN IT COMES TO WRITING?

Reading other people’s writing, re-watching POI & certain isolated scenes, watching other shows often inspires me sometimes, MUSIC is a big one but ultimately, I write best in silence. I don’t like background noise simply bc ... my brain latches onto sounds & things & I can’t willingly tune things out. I have earplugs for this reason lmao.

V. FAVOURITE TYPE OF THREADS?

I LOVE the deep, philosophical threads that I’ve been able to write, the threads where there’s strain & conflict that Harold somehow manages to ease. I love the threads that explore his softer, hidden emotions ( he doesn’t stifle them or anything, he just feels things internally moreso than outwardly & he has Trust Issues ) as well as his PAIN. I love writing Harold developing close relationships with others, whether it’s romantic ships or platonic ones. I love writing threads where Harold adopts younger muses !!!  Harold being A Dad (tm) is a fave. I love threads that explore his feelings about The Machine especially. I love being able to address SEVERAL interesting “issues” with either my muse, the other persons muse or an issue they have to work out themselves. HEART ACHING ANGST that is so good bc it’s so sweet & wholesome but so heart-wrenchingly sad at the same time is my aesthetic. I love deep talking threads. I LOVE A LOT OF THREADS IDK.

VI. BIGGEST STRUGGLE IN REGARDS TO YOUR CURRENT MUSE?

I would have to say ... maintaining several fluctuating aspects of him consistent ??  Since he does do that slight struggling / wrestling with certain feelings / thoughts, flip-flopping in some cases, that’s quite difficult, but it’s a pleasant challenge. I’ve had ONE instance where smone was weird about Harold’s age, since he’s a much older character ??  I thought I might struggle with that a lot more bUT I DON’T MUCH HERE FOR SOME REASON. Other than that, I just struggle with being able to properly replicate the way POI writes Harold’s skill with coding, engineering, technology in general & just his overwhelming intelligence. It’s like. tfw you write a character 100x smarter than you lmao. Occasionally I hit a wall in that case smtimes but I’m working on that. & the fact that I have to .... give insight to his mind, his feelings & thoughts ect. whilst still maintaining the mystery, due to how strictly private he is. I have a specific strategy for achieving this effect but ... it’s still challenging sometimes.

So Mod Payton and I were doing male to female ratio of our next gen OCs and I apparently have more males than I do females. I decided to fix that so say hi to Nika!

Name: Annika Jeevas.

Nickname: Nika.

Age: 13

Gender: Female.

Height and build: Average.

Race: ½ Ficemeilinin ½ Lovemainean.

Species: Part dragon part human.

Powers/Abilities: Super strength, some heightened senses, magic somewhat, Iron Body/Iron Shirt- An ability that hardens the muscles to the level of iron, in order to nullify damage taken from attacks and is a technique in Chinese martial arts, which utilizes the natural energy (ki) to strengthen the body's resilience. Some plant abilities, the ability to move at extremely high speeds in order to avoid attacks, as well as to attack at higher speeds and with greater power, specializing in potions, protection runes, and crystals/magical gems.

Family: Emry(Dad), Miki Jeevas(Papa), Noah Jeevas(older brother), Ryan Jeevas(older brother)

Personality: Like her older brothers, she’s a happy kid and has her parents love for animals. She’s kind and sweet but will turn into a firecracker if upset. She’s good with all animals like her dad Emry is. She’ll have random conversations with Miki in German, which is a habit that she picked up from her grandmother. She has Miki’s love for piano, fencing, and the FNAF games though she’s not ready to try to hand at fencing yet. She also managed to talk her Aunt Beth into teaching her the violin. Her older brothers and her can use magic but it has a bit of a backwards effect like it does for their dad due to being part dragon. Plus, due to being part dragon and part human, she has slightly pointed ears but no dragon pupils unlike her brothers who both have dragon pupils but not the pointed ears.
