I will share a bit about my dumpster fire pairing, Lucien Lachance and my HoK— his ex-Silencer Nimileth. They are enemies but underneath that they are lovers then underneath that they are enemies again.

They met in the way many Dark Brotherhood assassins seem to meet Lucien, which is to say unpleasantly and with much annoyance. She had just killed Countess Alessia Caro in what she would claim was a bout of justified vengeance and righteous fury and NOT at all uncontrollable blood lust and/or an act of butchery. Never :) Lucien, after learning the grisly details, was like "ooh 😍" But after his many horrific attempts to woo her were met with disinterest that bordered on disgust and inevitably disdain, he was like "ugh, well now I must gain her favor because the Black Hand ordered a purification, and I have no one else to appoint to Silencer. Also my ego is bruised. Woe is me!" Then they smashed and it was of course very sexy and nasty, and afterwards, it over for them. Fate sealed.

They have a very messy, very toxic relationship given the power-imbalance, Lucien's sadism, and Nim's inclination to like things that are bad for her. Their favorite way to cuddle is in a pool of each other's blood, entangled in such a way that it could be easily mistaken for strangulation or erotic asphyxiation depending on the angle <3

I am always so embarrassed when I talk about them. Like omg just kill and eat each other already!!!

Chipping away at chapter 2 of post-applewatch Lucien/Nim smutchaos. He's slowly discovering that his girlfriend is the Daedric Prince of Madness and he's uh... not happy about it :)

Mountain air and forest musk. Sharp sting of pine on wind-chafed skin. Past the battlements of Fort Farragut, the sunlight grasps at all it can touch, scours the world until it’s clean, gilded and glimmering. Lucien has seen enough of Tamriel to know that this is as close to paradise as he’ll ever be again, so he breathes it deep, permitting himself only a moment of idle fantasy, where alone, he dreams of the life that he’s since left behind. One with the security afforded by the familiar title of Speaker, one where he still knew with certainty what Sithis wanted of him. One where he didn’t question the power he’d rightfully earned. The life before he met her.  But now? Now as Listener, bearing the highest honor that can be bestowed, he’s become frayed, unfinished, a stranger to himself. Now when the Brotherhood needs him the most, doubt rots him at the root, hollows him out in the xylem. And it sickens him, revolts him, and he knows this isn’t him, knows in his bones that this weakness comes from powers beyond comprehension. Strange magic she's infected him with— she's changed. She changes him, for he has never been this man, and it’s her fault. Hers. The sin no prayer will deliver. The poison he’d have to let himself bloodless to relieve. Him and his Silencer who's no longer his Silencer, growing together like lichen, alike in that desire makes them even more frightening. How they want so completely. How their love consumes all. Even here, hundreds of miles from their home in Bravil, he can’t escape it. Trapped in the whirl of it, he watches himself orbit about her as if hovering a foot above his head. Lucien's fists strain against the railing, because he is the Listener; he is not this man. Duty comes before all and if she threatens it, she'll reap the consequence, and yet he knows, in his bones, that he'll return to her out of instinct, some animal inclination, by some foreign presence inside him. Inhuman and shapeless, unable to vanquish the final act of longing, he opens his heart to her like a fresh wound. Like something torn apart.

This is Nimileth, my Hero of Kvatch | Sheogorath

Terribly afflicted by foot-in-mouth syndrome

Fled life as an orphan in Kvatch only to stumble into a Daedric cult. Learned a lot about alchemy and illusion magic while in said cult so it wasn't all bad, sacrifices aside :)

Brewed skooma for the Renrijra Krin in her youth (she has a very strong work ethic, really).

Not keen on authority figures

Stumbled into yet another cult after she just kinda tripped on her bow and shot a countess in the neck and maybe dismembered her a little?? Such bad luck phew 🤷‍♀️

Big fan of red wine and also white wine and also the rubbing alcohol you stick eyeballs in for science

Instead of delivering the Amulet of Kings to Jauffre, she stashed it under Methredhel's floor boards and forgot to do the main quest for two years. This was a time of great self-growth and even greater self-destruction.

First in her family to go to college and also first to be kicked out 🤪

Hello it's me again, went further into the insanity and made Nim a full outfit. Tried to capture the vibe of the dorito shorts + rat slippers combo, because every girl needs options

First headwear, something about this hat in camo is just hitting, plus the earrings can pair with the rat shoes <3

The shirt, perfect and the shorts acts as a warning to Lucien if he tries to stare at her. Or rather a promise, not a warning :)

The socks are cute and hold hands but also the eyes are unsettling and what is Nim if not cute and unsettling. And the mole shoes, which Lucien will call the rat shoes and she corrects him by saying "They are moles Lucien, you know what a mole is? You live like one you should know"

Going to freak at the skooma den? Party hat rats. She puts on rat earrings with black hoods when the Black Hand comes over for official business because she's a classy, respectful lady :)
