#OC: Morrow Feldspar

The duality of Morrow.

In the first picture he joined some children at a Fall Solstice fair and they made flower crowns together, she offered plenty of blooms from her hair and he kept one of her own and wrapped it around the hilt of his sword!

In the second Morrow and her companion Howls have found the entrance to a series of caves beneath a river shanty town, and for some spoiler-related reason he's become uncharacteristically fixated on tracking the beast supposedly inside; their entire demeanor seems to have shifted and they seem more distant.

Had my first campaign with Morrow tonight and I'm really excited to see where it goes!

Encountered a strange man in the woods obsessed with keeping the dark away, and a being in charge of the flow of time who seemed to regard my character with a strange familiarity.

The campaign itself and the characters within it is run by @localcuttlefish and Howls the Kenku is owned by @egg-on-a-legg!

Fought our first enemy in @localcuttlefish's campaign which turned out to be a massive chromatic were-dragon!

Morrow's Hunter's Mark manifested as iridescent, bubble-like prehistoric water creatures which circled around the target as if they were a school of fish carefully avoiding a shark.

It eventually became apparent that the dragon had been possessed, confused, and frightened, and while Howls no longer wished to fight it, Morrow seemed to be in some sort of trance- even battling his companion in order to try and get to it, nearly causing her death.

Morrow ended the encounter with only 2 HP of damage taken, while Howls ended the encounter with only 2 HP left.

I'm happy to be part of a D&D campaign someone I know is willing to host! This is Morrow Feldspar (He/She/They), an Earth Genasi ranger who has an obsidian blade through her torso that he has so far been unable to remove. He's quiet and soft spoken and his hair is made of various mosses, lichens, and other swamp plants; they're proficient at hunting various wild beasts, though they respect the wildlife she tracks.

I started on this portrait of the party members in @localcuttlefish's West of the Willow campaign a few months ago but I'm not sure if I'll finish it; I'm still proud of what I've done though so I'll post it here. Not included is the undead guy whose soul we stuck in the body of a Scarecrow after the session this scene took place in.
