A bird in a covered cage

They left without you. Put you out of sight and therefore out of mind. You sing every morning like nothing's changed, talk to the walls to keep yourself company. Just you, the darkness and your own denial that you are completely alone. Nurse your wounds, get yourself some water.

Dog teeth

You're vicious, but you're afraid. You have to make the first punch, and make sure your opponent can't land one. But you need to stop seeing everyone as an enemy. The only one being violent is you, your anger and your defensiveness is killing you. Take a nap, rest your head and clear your mind. Come back in the morning.

Your expectations are ones you can barely meet. You compare yourself to others, but with a hypocritical light. You'll never find what you're looking for if you're laying down half of what you receive. It stings to be given less than expectations you've set, but if they were more reasonable, do you think even then you'd be happy?

yearning

The pain in your chest bubbles knowing that what you want may never be yours. You're lost in a fantasy world, or consumed by what you wish you were or had as opposed to what you do. It's hard to appreciate what's around you when you're appreciating the hope of what could be instead.

the giver

Your energy depletes as you hand it out to anyone passing by your basket. People walk by and take, but no one ever leaves. You're constantly running on low when people keep asking you to give. You'd give your soul away for free, and then what left do you have of yourself if you can't say no?

can you please share how mercedita got her wild magic? :D was it a gift, a blessing? did it happen by fluke on her birth? did a fey mess with her for fun? did she enter the outer planes?

Mercedita herself certainly believes the wild magic aspect to have been a fluke on her birth, a coincidence. Her high elf father's bloodline did provide her with magical abilities, but wild magic? No idea what happened, but no evidence to contrary has arisen, so it must have been a fluke.

(A fluke, a blessing by a fey creature, due to rather tragic circumstances of her birth - but that is not something Mercedita knows. Nor does her mother)
