k but this all got me thinking abt Nino and Torian... after she's rescued, she's pissed (and pregnant) and hooks up with Theron as a form of revenge @ Torian bc how are you not the one who finds me.... id wouldnt give up or rest if this was reverse

this kinda makes theron's...thing more personal bc i believe he doesnt really get over it - he's upset.

Torian appears to forgive her but inside (and at one point outside) is like..... i waited for 5 years you couldnt wait for 5 fucking months

reblog of my old arts reminded me Torian - as a father, he has 1 with Nino in my canon.

And i think of him always thinking he d be this disciplined strict buir but turning out to b opposite and not caring what his child does as long as they are happy except downright treason lmao Unless... i think he d have a major soft spot for them and have trouble saying No - after he s been denied everything as a child. (like Nino saying gently Dina - their child in my canon, a girl named Dinuin - why dont you say hi to X :) and Torians like... you don't have to If you dont want w Nino going 🙄 as much a chiss can sgxgdfxgx)

i can also imagine him being a little overprotective, nurturing. He d still raise them as a mandalorian and teach them how to defend themselves but secretly hope they ll pick a non-combat path

hmmmmm u know i love this questioon ahhhhh but i cant think annythinggg why (bc its 4am) but okay so

his mother is alive - left just as everything was crumbling down. she was like. Nope. ofc when she returns after Nino is thawed (lol) their relationship is sooooooo bad but Nino likes her and so Torian tolerates... they will make up

that he s a verrry good shot right from the start (the boy s a sniper cmon) but asks for shooting lessons bc he cant find any other excuse to spend tim w the champion (in a romance at least)

he likes poetry (its usually short enough to read between missions) especially older mandalorian pieces,,, and even tries writing sometimes

he prefers to be clean shaven as its cleaner under the helmet :) idk whats :) in game :)

but during the war he grows a short beard depression beard

not only he can cook very well he can sew well too, he s not however good at blacksmithing as he said in that one mail

as a father he s kinda overprotective which is weird bc he always thought he d be the opposite but Nope. he pushed Dinuin (his child w Nino my hunter) to non-combatant roles in life and keeps worrying 7/24. dont even breath in his sons direction

definitely smiles easier and is more relaxed the older he is, opposite of the old grumpy man stereotype

the point of Nino is that she's actually made after this knightly ideal. Merciful, honorable, obedient, selfless - not exactly mercenary material so she was taken advantage of so, so many times in her 'career' before the great hunt. She's the sort of person who'll help people for nothing in return, rescue orphans and animals, and stand up for anyone who she deems is being treated unfairly so they are best friends with Mako bc of this and for many other reasons, it is, in fact Mako who feels protective of her more than the other way because Nino is really naive sometimes, I think she threatened Gault out of dragging Nino into a few cons before. While this has the cons pros are that she fits nicely within the Mandalorian (though they are too aggressive for her sometimes) community and esp her clan and while Artus thought she was too 'soft' to lead he instantly had a soft spot for her which is why her relationship with Torian did not cause any trouble.

Another thing that has nothing to do with this - Nino and Torian's first child is actually this little twi'lek girl named Ovila, who was adopted into the clan Ordo during the start of the war, the intentions are good and pure but with everyone fighting and the man who rescued having no idea, time and patience to actually deal with a small traumatized child, she feels alienated and Nino's blue skin gets her attention - same as hers - instantly they bond. She gets attached to her really fast and while at that time she's wary of Torian and any other human men one of which is the one who adopted her, having seen her open up a lot easier agrees giving her away - not that he had any other choice. During this time Nino is also pregnant to their baby, which is very hard bc she's also fighting much to everyone's, especially Torian's panic, but she's a really good shot she can't afford to stop.

anyways she'll have her son safely, he looks more human than anything but with Nino's red eyes, he's a big step for Ovila to get over her fear of human men because he's so small and sweet and tiny and hey the warzone lacks toys so he might as well be it. I'm also thinking how it'd be seen having a baby during the war but I think while there are mandalorians who might think it selfish for the majority he sort of becomes a mascot. Hope for the future. And he never lacks a caregiver, they never really have to buy anything because they keep getting baby stuff, old ones, used ones, from people who lost their babies, from those who knit and sew. The little guy can soften even the Mandalore the Avenger.

Hmmm Dinuin is not much of a fighter so he only wears a chestplate if he HAS to (and its made by Torian so...) and i think Torian is better with form fitting stuff, he s more of a sniper & scout...

...tbh Nino wouldnt too bc she simply doesnt like wearing anything more then the necessary... maybe when she was pregnant

Well good news in the expanded universe true cannon to me mandalor is still in good shape even after the vong war 💕so theirs lots of farms still and boba being a good mandalor

I love the idea of their son being a farmer theirs lots in bobas time when he is mandalor

Main story happens

Nino is pregnant and she s pregnant during the being frozen in carbonite thing

She s thawed out,, normally I guess any baby wouldn't make it but idc, so she s still pregnant

After Arcann impales her w his lighsaber its a very close call but she IS saved and Dinuin is born - well taken out during the surgery more like and w a lot of help from force users in the base especially Senya the worst doesn't happen

I'm also thinking Dinuin will turn out a powerful force user bc of Valkorion's presence

When she meets Torian again Dinuin is like 3 months old... Let's just say it'll be one hell of a shock for him.. I know I'm doing him in bad making him think he lost not only a wife but also an unborn child... feeling sad just thinking about it, the poor guy drives himself crazy thinking what could've beens during the 5 years and the only thing that kept him going was firmly believing Nino s alive somewhere... Its a good(?) thing the threshold for discharged bc of mental state is higher for mandalorians..

fr I think war really mellows out Torian... No not that..humbles? I can really imagine him being enthusiastic abt his son Dinuin wanting to b away from violence as much as possible and learn whatever is his interests are instead... and Dinuin s always been an adopt animals instead of hunt them sorta kid

thinking abt Dinuin, son of Torian and Nino, he has powerful force powers but in the end, growing up during a war gave him so much anxiety and he'd rather be picking flowers rather than do any soldiering which would've been a nuisance to Torian if he hadn't lived through the horrors of war himself but now he's just happy

In the end....Nino has 6 children.. Lazar from her previous marriage, Dinuin, Tali, Parya and Catra with Torian and Ovila, a twi'lek girl they adopted during the war 🤠

Ok but... This little green babey only reminded me of Nino and Torian's son, Dinuin bc he also grows up 'strangely' too fast in his case since he's half chiss and he's force sensitive bc Nino was pregnant through all that bullshit w Valkorion and i decided this is the result of it ~~
