I was strongly inspired by space westerns to bring Ayner to a sci-fi AU. Look out for this glorious bastard, now - in space.

Ayner! Haven't drawn any humanoid fellas in a while now so I'm a tad rusty but I am happy to announce that he is as much as a menace in Baldur's Gate 3 as he was in Skyrim and I love him so much.

I'm on a long train ride and I'm having Ayner (sci-fi) thoughts: The beloved vampire is a phenomenal dancer, which is a great way to spend your free time - but also is absolutely just mostly the manifestation of his great agility & experience of using his sensitive hearing to predict an attack and masterfully dodge - a knife? A bullet? Practically anything that isn't a straight up laser (though, an older or knocked-off laser weapon would still buzz & heat up before activating, so even that is very much to his advantage)

This keen sense of hearing helps to compensate for his not-so-great day vision. At times, he will even be walking around with a dark visor to see better, even, occasionally, at night. And when he does, you are more likely than not hearing him cursing under his breath about how stupid it is that every dark district is priding themselves in obnoxiously bright signs snd holograms. He gets a great satisfaction destroying them in any opportunity of a 'out-in-the-street' conflict. Removing light sources and darkening the surrounding area is a relief to his eyes just about to the same degree that it would terrify and disadvantage his opponent: with deep sigh of relief chuckling out his lungs; the vampire flicks his finger to raise the visor to his forehead and focus the red gaze at the startled figure in front of him.
