in the comfort of charmaine's home, she sat on one of the bar stools at the end of the small kitchen table — her best friends, morgan maldonado and madison filipowicz were both with her, but occupied with separate things; morgan was on the phone with who charmaine assumed was her boyfriend ( unless she felt like cheating on him ), and madison was busy making popcorn for the film they were going to watch.

"hey char, what happened to that cheesy popcorn you always have?" madison asked, as she searched the girl's fridge, "there's like, none left."

"i'm gonna be honest madi, i ate it all," charmaine shrugged, as she scrolled through her phone.

madison shook her head, and went back to the fridge, biting down on one nail as she continued searching. charmaine looked over at morgan, who was sprawled out on her couch, twirling her dark hair around her fingers, her face painted with a rosy tint and a smirk plastered on her face. the evans girl frowned, wondering who it was that she was even talking to.

"wow, chris is making you blush that hard?" charmaine teased quietly, and morgan rolled her eyes, waving her off.

"this isn't even chris, girl," morgan whispered to her friend with an eyeroll, "he doesn't really make me blush like this anymore, anyway."

charmaine nodded, but her jaw clenched at the thought of morgan cheating on chris — christopher sturniolo was morgan's boyfriend, who also happened to be charmaine and madison's best friend, too. he had two identical brothers aside from himself, and they were both best friends with the triplet brothers. charmaine has liked chris for as long as she can remember, and it always puzzled her as to how he chose morgan over her. of course, chris never knew this, and she didn't plan on telling him — it was something bound to break up their friendship ( though charmaine knew the triplets longer ).

the smell of butter wafted through charmaine's senses, telling her that madison had put the popcorn in the microwave. the filipowicz girl came and sat down on the counter next to charmaine, a small grin settling on her face. "which horror movie are we watching tonight?"

charmaine grinned back, having always loved that she and madison loved horror movies. "oh, it's definitely a friday the 13th kinda night."

"ugh, we always watch that one," morgan whined suddenly, as she sauntered into the kitchen, her arms crossed, "can we watch the craft or something?"

"can you stop being a hoe and sleeping with every guy who gives you attention?" charmaine sneered, causing madison to snort and hold back a laugh, and morgan to give her an unimpressed look.

"you say that like it's a bad thing," morgan suddenly grinned, causing charmaine to roll her eyes and shake her head, "it's not my fault i'm sex positive!"

"whatever you wanna call yourself, morgan," madison giggled, causing charmaine to stick her tongue out at morgan playfully.

"whatever, friday the 13th is it," morgan sighed, resting her elbows on the counter, "let's play something while we wait for the food."

"what're you thinking?" charmaine questioned, setting her phone on the counter and facing her best friend.

"truth or dare."

morgan grinned, and madison and charmaine shared a knowing look. "girl, is this an excuse for you to just tell madi to make a move with that one girl already?"

madison's cheeks tinted, and she rolled her eyes. "that's not happening, by the way!"

"ugh, fine!" morgan grunted, but she sent madison a pointed look, "you don't even have to pick dare if you don't want to!"

"whatever, let's just play," charmaine said, waving both girls off, "m, truth or dare?"

morgan pretended to tap her chin in thought, then she smirked at charmaine. "dare."

"i dare you to call that one strip joint and pretend you wanna get hired there."

madison's eyes widened and morgan's jaw dropped, causing charmaine to burst out laughing. "what the actual fuck kinda dare is that?"

"it's a good one, don't lie!" madison grinned, pointing to morgan. 

"fine, whatever, i'll do it," morgan said with an eyeroll.

before she could make a move to grab the phone though, it began ringing — the three best friends exchanged a glance with each other, before morgan shrugged and moved towards it. "this doesn't count as your dare by the way!"

"it's probably just steven again," morgan grinned, as she picked up the landline, bringing it up to her ear, "hello?"

madison sat on the counter idly, and charmaine scrolled through her own phone as morgan talked to whoever it was she was talking to ( charmaine wouldn't be surprised if it was another one of her side pieces ). but from the way morgan's eyebrows furrowed, something was off.

"who is it?" charmaine mouthed her, madison raising her eyebrows expectantly.

"i don't even know," morgan mumbled, holding the phone away from her momentarily, "it's just fucking silence."

"here, let me see," madison said, hopping off the counter and going to grab the phone from morgan, "hello?"

but madison was met with silence as well, causing all three girls to share a look with each other. finally, charmaine shrugged and walked over to the phone, taking it from madison and holding it up to her ear. "hello?"

"hello? who's this?"

charmaine's eyes widened, causing morgan and madison to watch closely. "who're you tryna get to?"

"i don't know," the voice said, and charmaine felt a chill down her spine. it sounded much too deep to be normal, but something about it was highly attractive.

"well, you better figure it out," charmaine said, "bye have a good night."

"wait, don't hang up!" the voice said, and for some reason, charmaine's eyebrows rose and she didn't, "i wanna talk to you."

"yeah, they got like, five hundred numbers for shit like that," charmaine said, shaking her head, "see ya."

charmaine hung the phone before they had a chance to reply again, and both girls looked at her curiously. "so who was it?"

"i don't even know, some weirdo saying they wanted to talk to me," charmaine shrugged, and morgan grinned at the girl.

"well it's about time somebody wants to talk to you," morgan snickered, "you need to get a man."

"morgan, shut the fuck up," madison said, crinkling her nose and slapping the girl's shoulder, "she doesn't need to get anyone. just because you fucked half the school behind chris's back, doesn't mean everyone wants to do that same thing."

morgan's jaw dropped at what madison had said — truth was, morgan was always knocking charmaine for not wanting to just get with anybody randomly. she would take a dig at her about that stuff around charmaine and all her other friends too, which really upset her, being that she was supposed to be her best friend; charmaine guessed madison just finally got tired of it.

"wow, madi, didn't know you had the capability of being mean to anyone," morgan mumbled, and charmaine snorted.

"talking about everybody all the time just pisses me off," madison shrugged, turning to give charmaine a smile, "especially when it's about my girl."

before charmaine could respond to madi, the phone rang again, much to to her disappointment. with a groan, charmaine picked up the phone once again. "hello?"

"looks like i called the wrong number again," the voice said, and this time, charmaine rolled her eyes amusedly.

"yeah, i guess you did," charmaine sighed, sitting on the counter, "why did you redial it again?"

"to hear that pretty voice," he purred, and charmaine felt her cheeks get warm.

a small smile graced her features as she began swinging her feet back and forth. madison was now in the living room on her phone, and morgan; well, she was somewhere in the house. 

"huh," charmaine said, looking around.

"what's your name?"

charmaine chuckled, holding the phone away from her and looking at it in disbelief. "no way you just asked me that, dude."

"what's wrong with asking your name, pretty girl?" he asked, and for a split second, charmaine's eyebrows furrowed — she felt like she somewhat recognized the voice.

"first of all, i've seen too many horror movies to be telling you my name like that," charmaine said, as the microwave went off, signaling the popcorn was finished, "second, why do you wanna know my name?"

"cause i wanna know who i'm looking at," he said lowly, causing charmaine to immediately jump off the counter.

"what did you just say?" she asked nervously, looking around, seeing madison still sitting on the couch. morgan was still nowhere to be found.

"i said i want to know who i'm talking to," he said humorously, causing charmaine's eyebrows to furrow once again.

"yeah, nice try, that's not what you said," charmaine said seriously, beginning to grow annoyed, "look, find someone else to be all creepy with, i'm done here. bye."

"hang on-"

"it was funny at first, but you took it too far!" charmaine said.

"don't you-!"

before he could get another word out of his mouth, charmaine clicked the line off and set the phone back on its hook with a loud sigh. madison's head snapped up, and she looked up to see charmaine with her hands on her hips.

"everything okay, char?" madison asked, making her way over to the girl, "did they ever tell you who they were?"

"no, just some asshole being creepy as fuck," charmaine admitted, rubbing her temples with both her hands. "i swear-"

the phone rang, yet again.

What do you do on Tumblr?

I write fanfiction, make OC's, draw/write comics, and make AU's for various pieces of media I enjoy. I also love to find others who make similar content, especially AU's, since others' ideas can be so cool at times.

Tumblr happens to be my catch-all for sharing new ideas, making jokes, and meeting others who share my interests.

What do you enjoy outside of the internet?

When I'm not online, I like to keep a busy life still! Usually I'm drawing-traditionally or digitally-, reading, cooking, or thinking up new ideas for my art, AU's, or other projects! Sometimes, I hang out with my friends, though we mostly keep in contact through the internet.

Obviously, I also like to game. Excluding my video games, I play Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons the most. Including them, however, I mostly play Rain World and Pokemon. The kinds of games I tend to like are ones with heavy lore, but from an actual gaming standpoint I tend to play 2D and 3D platformers, deckbuilders, and turn based RPG's.

What do you want to do in life?

My hope is to become an ecologist, since I've loved animals for my whole life and have been branching that out to loving anything nature related. Biology often finds a way to creep itself into my fictional works, and I tend to look at things through a very scientific eye.

Alright, okay. I love Dungeons and Dragons, even though I'm stuck as the forever DM. I sing, travel, play the violin, and love watching mildly educational YouTubers (Oversimplified and such). I'm also quite the animal lover, with two precious cats and five snakes!

The Story of the Iterators

Within a local group of iterators, there are stories to tell and lives that unfold, hidden just beneath a layer of dust settled on old memories. Taking a glimpse into their lives, these purposed machines of flesh and iron to solve one goal, may reveal why they turned out the way they did.

Shared Sparks (A @firecracker-pup fancomic)

Blight was the lucky pup. The one who survived at the cost of her sister's life. Ever since, she tried to live up to what she thought her sister could have managed, but was stuck in her shadow. Timelines away, Firecracker had been left to the mercy of scavengers after stealing a pearl from them as a pup, only to end up adopted by them. A call inside of it, however, still wants to learn from slugcats the things it never got to.

When their paths cross, when timelines collide, both slugcats get a glimpse into a world they never knew existed, and find similarities buried in the vast differences of their lives.

Season of Blood

Scourge has won the Battle of Blood clan with the death of Firestar and all who oppose him. The Clans are united in the forest once more, but under the cruel rule of the small tom cat. He rules with an iron paw and has no sympathy for others. Every cat has been stripped of their warrior name and given a more fitting one, by Scourge's definition. Many have been killed for displeasing him, or for minor physical imperfections. Anyone with open ties to StarClan have also been killed.

Because of a Medicine's Cat's close ties to the spectral clan, only one remains. Racoon was only a Medicine Cat apprentice when Scourge took over, but now that she's grown, all duties of the job fall to her. Tending to a massive, bloodthirsty clan isn't a small task. It's demanding, exhausting, and the whole time, she has to hide every notion that StarClan still visits her in her dreams. A single meek kitten must find a way to grow up and face the challenges ahead, persist through times of hardship, and find it in herself to risk her life to save the forest-and all the cats in it.

Greenleaf is over. The Season of Blood has begun . . .

 🐷PIG FACE — what is your oc's favorite animal? 

Nami is a 👏nauti👏ilus👏 girlie. Carries them around in the water like a giant stuffed animal. Definitely harassed one when she was younger by trying to fish it out of her shell before her grandmother had to snatch her up and get her hand OUT of the shell. Also fond of pigeons.

Faraja has a soft spot for ferrets and similarly shaped creatures (long tubed mammals) because she found catching creatures like them so fun when she was a kid

🎶 MUSICAL NOTES — what type of music does your oc like? do they listen to music very often?

Nami either listens to what Jamil listened to (so a lot of Arabic/dance musi) but she is also a huge fan of jazz! New jazz techno jazz all of it, and she primarily sings jazz in the Monstro lounge. Faraja listens to Viviennes music ONLY/hj. She was in her top .001% of listeners tho and she regrets not being higher (in her defense tho their music platform DOESNT count all of the times Vivienne gave her a private concert (aka her sitting on her bed with her guitar and singing for her) or when she went to every single Live concert she had so-) Seriously tho, if she’s not listening to Viv it’s R&B or afrobeats. And rock, but that’s from Leona being a dad and being like “THIS is the good music-“

🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?

Nami’s like big ones I’ve said a lot so that doesn’t feel fair but I’ll restate them AND new ones, so normally she does violin, piano, and sings, but she ALSO really enjoys soccer. She doesn’t do it competitively or anything but she puts ALL of her anger into punting a ball at the goalie. All of it. (She has injured like three). Hunting is another one, but that’s much more like legit octopi looking for food. She’ll dig her tentacles into crevices in corals and rocks to dig out shellfish and oysters and shit- and THEN the final one (for the question at least) would be sewing, which she does with Azul. They sit together and make things or fix things up (or if your Azul, put Jamil’s initials onto every single button up, which is technically embroidery but shhh-)

Faraja works out. A LOT. She weight lifts and body builds and everything- she also WHITTLES tho. Carves shit out of wood. Leona whittled her little toys and she picked up doing it too. Vivienne has a little fennec fox she made for her. OH AND she definitely loves just lying around. She doesn’t nap but does laze around, in the sun. Her ideal nap is on a warm rock in the sun on a breezy day with her girlfriend in her arms

A/N: This chapter is more so an introduction to our main character and some setting and it's a tad short but don't worry, it's gonna get interesting and ofc, we'll have Leon soon enough.

August 25, 1998. 

Amara had thought nothing of the reduced number of S.T.A.R.S. members who were at their desks upon her return only a month prior. But now? Now she was more than a little curious. Irons wasn’t exactly as forthcoming as she would hope and it wasn’t exactly like Chris and Jill-whom she felt the closest with-were even around to ask, both of their absences weren’t clearly explained and Chris left a note about a supposed vacation in Europe that sounded way too enthusiastic. Okay, to backtrack a bit, Irons gave her some reasoning in that the team could now be disbanded with the city becoming safer. 

But that didn’t explain how quickly it all seemed to occur in her absence. Not to mention, today’s press conference seems to squash that reason. Considering that Mayor Harris today just announced that the city was hiring ten to twelve more recruits due to the suspension of duty for S.T.A.R.S. Would a safe city need to hire more officers?

He also didn’t hesitate to spit on the names of her colleagues (herself included), saying the remaining members of the team clearly didn’t care enough about this city and its people considering they skipped town or wouldn’t show their faces. Which Amara knows is a crock of shit, no one cared more about this city than this team.  

She still remembers the day she returned, July 26, refreshed and certainly more relaxed than when she left for her vacation. Rhonda, one of the desk sergeants happily greeted her, more than a little excited as she practically tackled Amara into a hug. Something that the sergeant never usually did prior. 

“I think I speak for everyone when I say we’re glad to have you back,” The woman gives Amara a look that she can’t decipher but she still gladly returns the warm welcome. 

Shortly after that, Irons sends for her and that’s when he breaks it to her. And that also meant she was out of a job.

Now? Now, she’s a private investigator. It’s not like she was present for the suspension of duty of the team but Amara still insisted on doing something, anything to help her colleagues in other areas. She still had value. Not in an official capacity, but this would suffice. 

The cases weren’t as exciting as they used to be, but someone had to look into these things and Amara decided it was better her than anyone else. 

It was in the middle of Amara’s long-standing game of “Trash Basketball”, that the phone began ringing.

“Moore Investigations,” Amara said, immediately leaning her head into her palm. She got so used to the calls either being accidental dials and said boring cases. But this time? This time was very different. The voice, clearly a woman, is a blubbering mess that Amara isn’t even sure if they were speaking coherently. It took a few minutes before she could get her to calm down. 

Amara couldn’t recall the last time she’d heard such an ugly display of emotion from anyone. The occasional ridiculous waterworks over a romantic comedy, sure, but this? 

“I…I saw this number in my boyfriend’s place. I didn’t want to c-call the police,” The woman, 

Roslynn stuttered and slightly hiccuped through her words. Her breathing probably hadn’t caught up with the rest of her calm demeanor. 

“It’s…God,..it’s awful. Please hurry.” 

“Don’t go anywhere, I’ll be there as soon as possible.” She pulls out a notepad. “Can you tell me where you are?” 

Just about everything about this made the alarms in Amara’s head go off. But, she couldn’t ignore her either. Badge or no badge, she still had an obligation to look into it and then proceed with the police from there.

The address isn’t too far from where her current office is. The area certainly doesn’t set off any other indicators that something is off but Amara knew better. A lot of beautiful, pristine places hid the ugliest things. Roslynn sat cross-legged in the junction of the front door and the front hallway, an almost unresponsive look in her eyes. 

Blood coats her hands, it sticks out like a sore thumb against the untouched fabric of her jeans. Amara’s usual first instinct would’ve been wiping it off. Upon seeing Amara, Roslyn seems to crack once again, gesturing towards the inside. 

“Don’t move, I’m going to take a look inside.”

Venturing in further, the smell is the first thing that hits Amara's nose. It was absolutely putrid as if someone left out meat to rot and garbage to pile up. Upon further inspection, some of that smell is emanating from the kitchen. So, the guess wasn’t too far off. 

Not many things made her stomach turn, she had seen a lot in her short 21 years moving from place to place as an army brat, but when she found the direct source of what exactly was emanating the smell, her feet couldn’t take her back outside fast enough. All the contents of her breakfast now lay in the grass, Christ, that smell would never leave her now. 

Neither would the scene laid out before her. She’d been part of many an investigation outside of her S.T.A.R.S. missions, seen people nursing gunshot wounds and bones protruding and popping out from their skin in attempts to flee. But, seeing blood and brain matter paint the walls is enough to threaten more contents to empty from her stomach and a violent shudder to rack through her body. 

“Sorry,” Amara wipes her mouth roughly, “how long ago did you find him?”

“I just got back from a trip a day or two ago. I swear he was fine last we spoke.” Roslynn explained. 

“I’m going to take a wild guess and say that you don’t think this was a suicide?” It was a wild jump, considering Amara hadn’t quite got a full investigation over the scene. But, she considered herself to be someone who looked into the small details because they always came together to reveal the bigger picture. 

Roslynn shakes her head furiously back and forth, “No way, John was many, many things but suicidal wasn’t one of them.” 

“Are you absolutely sure about that?” 

“Yes.” 

“Then now, we have to get the police involved-” 

“But-” 

“Yes, I know it’s not ideal, but I have contacts with the RPD, and I can assure you they are more than trustworthy-” 

Roslynn interjects, “You don’t understand, I think someone within the RPD did it.” 

“What?” 

The once hysterical woman turned stoic within minutes and quietly led Amara to sit next to her on the steps. Better to talk outside quietly than to suffer through the stench inside. 

“Do you know the company Umbrella?” 

“The pharmaceutical company?” 

“That’s the one. John is…was a researcher.” Roslynn goes further into her explanation and mentions Bright Raccoon 21. Something Amara heard about often, considering the team she came from, came from efforts to modernize the city with the initiative. She could remember how different Racoon City looked compared to the brochure before her first day in such a short amount of time. No longer was it a small country city but a bustling metropolis. 

“Did he ever make you privy to what exactly he was researching?”

“Medicines, cosmetics, the like.” She said. “But, recently, he’d been on edge.” 

“I put it down to just nerves, at first. But then, there’d be nights he wouldn’t even speak to me, and then one evening…he just broke down and told me everything vaguely and we moved from our old place to here to hide. Some hiding that was.” Roslynn scoffs.

Amara followed, but that didn’t stop her from more questions. “Hiding from what? Umbrella?” 

“More or less, he didn’t go into details but whatever they did, it was bad, really bad.”

“And what makes you think someone within the RPD is part of this?” 

“Well, for one, your teams were disbanded. Two, Umbrella funds everything to do with expansion in this city. Whatever John had wasn’t going to paint them in a very good light.” 

She made very good points, whoever wouldn’t want this out would kill anyone to protect their cash cow. But, there’s still protocol even as a private investigator. “Roslynn, whether you like it or not, I have to call the police. Now.” 

An hour passes before the familiar red and blue lights illuminate the whole street. 

Officers and detectives alike cordon off the house now, the once-light sky is almost damn near dark. Amara checks her watch, it’s 5:25 pm. A part of her misses the summer, at least the light stayed a bit longer. Now, the chill in the air grew colder reminding her that fall wasn’t too far off. 

“Miss Moore?” A voice sounds behind her and her eyes follow. “A word, please?” 

“I’m Max, I’ll be heading up the investigation on this case. And I’m sure you’re already aware of who you’ll need to refer to in the chain of command, should you need any info.” He explained. The dread of letting the RPD handle this case already began creeping into Amara’s head. 

What if Roslynn is right? She would be putting her at severe risk and what if Umbrella wanted to finish the job? She chanced another glance over to the front steps as she shifted her weight from one side to another, where another detective stood over Roslynn with a notepad. 

A ball of anxiety began pressing itself against her sternum, one she’s always been familiar with and pushed down at any chance. It always arose in circumstances that Amara knew she should probably do more, the same one she felt the day she left home without a word after everything that occurred. She could’ve said anything, done anything, yet she stood by. 

Maybe a part of her knows that this can go south quickly, so she pipes up with no regard for the implication of getting involved. “Put me on the investigation, Max.” 

His head whips back as if he’d been slapped. “What?” 

“Look, if what Roslynn told me is true…you’re gonna need someone of my caliber on board and I’m just about the only one to who she entrusted that information. So, good luck with that idiot over there. And don’t say what I know you’re going to say, badge or no badge, S.T.A.R.S. or no S.T.A.R.S., I’m still a pretty damn good detective.” 

“Do you know what you’re getting yourself into?” 

Amara crossed her arms over her chest defiantly. “I have a pretty good idea. Now, are you going to let me back inside or not?” 

“There’s protocol…” Max doesn't finish his original sentence and instead rolls his eyes, “Five minutes, and that’s all I can give you right now.”

“Fair enough.”

Sidestepping Max, Amara heads back towards the house. The crime scene photographer was hard at work, taking meticulous shots of everything within range of John’s body. 

Amara has other plans instead and heads upstairs, where no one seems to have wandered off. If she didn’t know better, she’d assume she entered another house. The upstairs of the house is more refined, pristine, and certainly a researcher’s house. The walls were lined from ceiling to floor with books upon books, and the spines weren’t easily readable, but even from a distance, one could tell they were well used. 

This collection put Amara’s to shame, actually. 

When she wasn’t dealing with well,…this. Amara would more likely have her head in a book. Even her desk back at the precinct had a decent stack of books—one that Chris never hesitated to accidentally knock over—that practically buried her computer monitor. Reading certainly kept her brain cells more intact than Chris’ and it certainly broke up the occasional boredom between assignments.  

While she would love to put her grubby little hands on a few of the books, Amara knew she had business to attend to elsewhere. 

John’s office. 

Originally, that was where she wanted to start but the smell of decay certainly prevented her from getting further in until now. To no one’s surprise, John’s office looks like any other office of someone deep into their work. 

Papers were strewn about the workspace, and computer equipment took up every bit of space on the desk, Amara wasn’t even sure there was a desk underneath all that junk. The light of the moon cast the room in an almost unreal light. She is briefly awestruck by the simple beauty of the natural world to make the most mundane room of the house look so nice.

She needed to focus. 

In her search, she noticed the light cast on papers that read Alpha Team - July 24. “Well, hello there.” 

Amara gently grabs the papers off the desk, and her first instinct isn’t to immediately read their contents. She turns it over in her hands a few times, and it’s certainly no light reading, that’s for sure. 

Her mind froze on what to do next, especially with information such as this. It probably wasn’t that safe to go rifling through its contents on what is now an active crime scene, and if Roslynn told the truth, it didn’t make sense to Amara to give this to Max or anyone yet.

Who’s to say Max isn’t going to hand over to the very person who did this unknowingly? 

Stuffing the papers into her jacket's inner lining, she dashes the front door with no further words for Max or anyone else. 

The safest hands were still her own.

I'll be doing new character sheet layouts where you can enter more than one oc. The cards do not have to be filled out completely and you can request the help of a friend by adding their oc's. For those who've already entered in one oc, this is not compulsory and you don't have to re-enter. However, if you want to add more than one oc, then it's best you also re-enter with the original participant on the character sheet.

001 is a weird case because he's both an OC and not an OC. He's technically the main character of the video game GoldenEye Rogue Agent, but since he's one of those silent protagonists everything but his name and appearance is completely made up by me

while i'm not personally comfortable disclosing my ethnicity online - it is something that i've been taught to hide when possible - except to people i know and trust and talk to, i will disclose that i do look to new vegas as something to process and explore certain aspects of my identity and family history. i do have intergenerational trauma and that is another reason i may use the block button quite liberally/be either slow to follow back or not follow back at all in some cases as i have seen a lot of interpretations of canon (as well as numerous aspects of canon itself) that i don't feel okay with at all. i expect that people do their research when writing cultures and situations they're not familiar with, and try to meet that expectation myself.

006. i usually don't write nsfw on tumblr! if i do, it will not be the main focus of the thread. don't mind if others write it, nor do i mind prompts that allude to it, but if i'm writing it i'd prefer it not be the whole story, if that makes sense, and i'd also prefer only to write it with people that i've known for a while.

Since I do have some people in my Following that may be interested in Mega Man (or definitely are)... YOU WANNA HEAR ME GUSH ABOUT MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN THE CLASSIC SERIES??

The Stardroids are extra-terrestrial robots of unknown origins. Although sometimes, they are given origins. In the Archie Comics and in the Megaman Gigamix Manga, they are created by Ra Moon. And are ancient robots that will destroy everything and must be feared.

Sad that they don't return in any later games, and yet the Mega Man Killers do! (Aside from Quint. Wonder why...)

But today's the day I gush about ALL of them! And also have excerpt's from TVTropes for more info. It's made by fans, sure. But it's reliable enough for me! ...Also why would I use Fandom.

ANYWAYS...

Terra is the co-leader of the Stardroids, and is a great introduction to them! They are immune to the Mega Buster, so Mega Man had to upgrade his buster into the Mega Arm. Don't ask how that does damage to Stardroids, I am not the doctor that made that weapon. Also his hair is so cool... And he's the basis for my MHA oc! For the most part. Technically, all the Stardroids are. But it's mostly Terra. Excerpt from TVTropes: "The leader of the Stardroids who is greatly respected for his unrivaled determination in battle. He is, however, somewhat nervous and has an obsession with cleaning. Terra likes to wash his mane of hair with shampoo, and thus doesn't like to use hats or helmets to cover it up. In combat, Terra utilizes the Spark Chaser, a laser that guides onto his targets and deals massive damage to them, in addition to teleportation and paralysis abilities that allow him to get ahead. His serial number is Space Ruler Number: 001."

Sunstar is the best final boss in a Mega Man game. I'd go play Mega Man V myself, but uh… I'm piss-poor at Mega Man games. :') Also he has my favorite design of all the Stardroids! Apparently he's also optimistic, when he isn't being released as a doomsday weapon. Perhaps Wily should've considered that he was a doomsday weapon instead of releasing him.. Excerpt from TVTropes: "An ancient super robot hailing from the same extraterrestrial civilization as the Stardroids, created to be the ultimate weapon of mass destruction. Dr. Wily releases him against Mega Man for the final battle of Mega Man V, before being promptly blown off the battlefield before Sunstar faces Mega Man. For an ultimate weapon, he's surprisingly optimistic and cares for his dental hygiene. Because he takes a while to fully wake up, he tends to try not to stay up too late."

Out of all the Stardroids, Mercury is the one that makes me uncomfortable. Maybe its the fanfiction.. or maybe its his design. Also apparently he's an advocate of communism?? Well, alright Capcom! You do you with writing your space robots. Excerpt from TVTropes: "A greedy Stardroid whose body is made of a liquid metal which allows him to take any form and dismantle himself to attack in a similar fashion to the Devil series of robots. Mercury doesn't have many friends due to his loose tongue. Neither does he get along with Pluto, and he hates malicious gossip, especially when it's about him. Despite his greedy nature, he is an advocate of communism. Mercury's Special Weapon is the Grab Buster, which can steal energy and items from enemies and absorb them to recover his health." This is off-topic, but I want to shove my hands inside of him. Would he stop me? Would he just let it happen? I know Gigamix!Mercury would kill me if I tried. Even if I wasn't a robot, he'd still kill me. I think that's just a given with all the Gigamix!Stardroids though.

CRAB. ROBOT. Why is this the only crab robot we get in the West? We could've had Cancer too! You can tell I am impartial to him because he's based on a crab. And I just.. gush about crabs to myself. I mostly blame Lightbulb from Inanimate Insanity from making me hyper-fixate on crabs sometimes. Mostly… Also, side-tangent, but why does he clean his 'hair'? He doesn't even have any! So why does he do it? Also what shampoo would he use.. hopefully not Terra's, but I think Venus is smart enough not to! Excerpt from TVTropes: "A very aggressive Stardroid that walks sideways like a crab (an animal he is motifed after), as he is unable to walk forward. Venus loves cleanliness and washes his head with shampoo every morning, despite the fact that he doesn't even have hair. His main weapon is the Bubble Bomb — a strong bubble made of a soapy substance that explodes on contact."

And now the robot that would play World of Tanks.. if he could. Or even wanted to! I'm doubtful he would be interested in that stuff, because why do it on some phone you can't even use… WHEN YOU CAN DO IT IN REAL LIFE!!! He's also the nicest of his comrades. Most likely only to the Stardroids themselves, and not outsiders. Maybe. Idk. Excerpt from TVTropes: "A Stardroid who is essentially a walking armory, Mars is characterized by heavy armor and a large assortment of deadly weapons. The rollers in his feet allow him to move at high speeds; however, Mars cannot jump well because of his very heavy armor. Mars is surprisingly the warmest of the Stardroids. He likes survival games, most likely because they allow him to make use of all of his weapons, and dislikes restraining himself in battle as well as surrendering."

It's him! …Prepare to see those two words for a second time later on the list. Jupiter's pretty cool! He's one of those that I'd want to have an armor replica based on. Because I'd want to fly without propellers! It'd also help me get over my fear of heights.. hopefully. Also he's GREEN!! It's a nice use of green too. :) Also he has the best weapon in Mega Man 8-Bit Death Match.. which can be debated all you guys want. But I'm not changing my mind. >:) Excerpt from TVTropes: "A Stardroid equipped with a jet engine that grants him the ability to fly at super speed, which he likes to combine with acrobatics — but hates turbulence. He often has an irresponsible personality, to his allies' chagrin. In ancient times, Jupiter was equipped with several megaton-grade bombs, but they were too dangerous for him indoors, so he modified them to channel energy for his new main weapon, the Electric Shock, which allows him to emit huge beams of raw electricity."

The one I had to use the ring for Hoshiakari Terra! …I mean, I had to. How else would they make a black hole without containing it? Saturn's ring, that's how! This is also a good use of browns on a design. Brown, orange and yellow go well together, but sometimes they don't. It depends on what shades, and where the colors are used really. Though, that advice works with pretty much any oddball color combo. I also love to picture Saturn struggling to play a video game because he doesn't understand how to play most of them. Fanfictions are good, see? …Not all of them make you disturbed of a character, like Mercury. Exerpt from TVTropes: "A Stardroid who has the power to control time and space, owning to his namesake. Saturn has a large ring that he uses to initiate his Black Hole attack which pulls his foes closer to him. He is somewhat lazy and uses his Black Hole to bring others to him instead of going to them, which gives him a bad reputation. Saturn is fickle-minded and neophilic, but seems to have low allowance in terms of money (likely as a result of his love for novelty). He enjoys hula-hoops and is natural with it, but doesn't like video games."

I'm not going to comment on Uranus's name. I have standards.

And we end on a whimper. Sorry Neptune, I just don't have a lot to say about you. It is cool that your a fish, and you eat salty foods. And you also don't like fishing (which makes sense, you are based on a fish after all). Just don't smack me with your Salt Water. I know it does nothing to humans, but it's still salt water!

.001 - FOLLOWING.  This blog is a private roleplay blog. This means that I will only be writing threads with mutuals. Mutuals are blogs that follow me , and I follow back. It’s nothing personal. I just run several blogs and this allows me to keep track of things easier. You are however more than welcome to send anon asks or random questions to Steve and he’ll be happy to answer them.

.002 - RATING. This blog will have a mature rating , and mature content will appear on this blog. I will be tagging anything nsfw with #nsfw and any triggers will be tagged #cw trigger here.

.003 - FORMATTING.  This blog will be using icons , small text , bold , italics , and underlined text on occasion. You are not required to use any of this to write with me. This is all for my own amusement and will not decide on whether or not I follow and write with you. That is completely based on our writing chemistry.

.004 - SHIPPING.  I love a good ship. Who doesn’t. That being said , I am going to be EXTREMELY SELECTIVE on who I ship with. I plan to write Steve being bi on this blog , leaning toward men. I will not write a ship with someone without discussing it first. If you do not ask before sending something shippy , it will be ignored. That being said Steve is a slow burn kind of lover , but passionate when he gets there , and a service switch.

.005 - CHILDREN.  Wanted to give this it’s own section. I love oc’s who are kids or something of that ilk with Steve , and am very open to it. If you are interested in something like that , feel free to send me a message and we can get some ground info figured out. While I don’t ship Peggy and Steve , because I see them more like they are in the comics , I am open to children of there’s in a way of multiversal mixups or something like that. 001. this is a very low activity and low-key multi muse blog featuring canon and original characters across various fandoms. I'm mostly here to write with friends but anyone is free to follow and I'm open to new interactions/partners, so don't let this deter you if you're interested in writing together.

002. I cannot emphasize enough that this is a low activity blog. I work a full-time, writing-intensive job, I stream part-time, I have another blog that I write on and I'm a chronically ill cutie. I won't be around constantly and I won't be writing constantly. this is a hobby first and foremost and is treated as such. all I ask is for patience and understanding, both of which are appreciated.

003. I heavily prioritize plotted interactions/dynamics. I do a lot better with turnaround when I know where an interaction is going, so if you've got ideas for interactions or dynamics, don't hesitate to tell me. I'm pretty flexible, I like to consider myself easy to work with on that front, and I love crafting unique plots and dynamics with partners.

004. I love shipping, it's not a priority, but chances are if you ship it, I ship it. I'm always down to explore ships and other dynamics, I love pre-established dynamics, etc. you're also more than welcome to send shippy memes even if we haven't discussed anything as a means to test the waters.

005. if I do anything to upset you or make you uncomfortable, please just tell me straight up. I never do anything with malicious intent and I'd rather know right away if I messed up than have someone stew in it and let it fester. I can't correct something if I don't know the problem exists, etc.

I'm doing my best to catch up on my forgotten realms/5e lore as well as keep the inconsistent lore of resident evil straight but please note that I am very new to dnd and relatively newer to resident evil, with a lot of my experience being through baldur's gate 3/the remakes of the capcom games respectively. your patience and understanding is, as always, appreciated.
