For an AU, how about a Quirkless Villain Izuku AU?

After rescuing Bakugou, Izuku does not meet with All Might, and continues the negative spiral mind set that was started by All Might. He grows bitter, resentful that the heroes didn't do their job until he stepped in to ensure Kacchan could BREATHE, and then they lectured him for doing their job. The only one that was doing anything right was Mt Lady, but she could use work.

He decides that he doesn't want to be a hero, instead he wants the heroes to be better. To never leave a quirkless child feel like this. To never see another child slowly being smothered in front of a crod while the heroes did nothing. No, he wasn't going to be a hero. He was going to be the villain the heroes needed.

That said, he needs to start small, he needs to focus on one hero at a time and work his way up. Someone young, someone able to learn, someone that just needed a bit of a push. His eyes land on the sketch of Mt Lady in his sketch book, annd he has his first target.

During the first year, he works onn improving Mt Lady, and she sees a rise on her popularity, and is able to hire staff for her office. Sure it's 1 janitorial staff member, and 1 secretarial member, but they more than pay for themselves in the first month.

Eventually, after seeing the success of Mt Lady, Izuku sets his sights on a new target, wanting to make them better heroes than the current batch. Class 1-A of UA gets a guardian Villain, who takes exception when the LoV show up and threaten HIS class.

As a shadow war of villains wages, Aizawa is hunting down any information on this green unnamed villain, going to the one hero used to dealing with him regularly. Mt Lady shares the organized files, impressing him as there are vetrens that don't do as much. But she also mentions that the kid has said some worrying things that she hopes Aizawa catches him and brings him to the side of heroes.

Somewhere along the way, Izuku grows concerned that his mother may get wrapped up in his actions, and cuts his ties to her, to the Bakugous, and to his old life. He trains his body in the free time by cleaning Dagobah Beach, and works on how to improve the heroes. He never calls himself a villain, but doesn't reveal anything else.

How well known as a villain is OBD!Izuku?

That is a good question. get the feeling that he is unknown to the civilians, a lot of underground heroes know of him, and he haunts the nightmares of Mt. Lady and All Might. Curiously, they feel like the nightmares are like the ones about being unprepared for a test, in silly underwear, while your entire ancestry is watching.

Nezu wants to meet him in person. He knows, and he wants to know more.

Up until USJ and Class 1-A, that is. Once he steps in and claims 1-A as his, he becomes very well known, and no one knows who he is, why he wears a mask, and keeps the hood up all the time. There are a lot of theories, but one thing is for certain.

He has a plan, and they are going to stick to it.

When does OBD!Izuku first reveal himself to Class 1-A as their self-appointed nemesis?

Stated previously, USJ, he makes a grand entrance, and declaration in front of them to the LoV that they are his, not the scabs, and that he was going to be their villain.

He does not claim a name, most just call him kid or Green. Debating the name "Wildcard", or him saying "nobody of importance", to keep up the masquerade.

I don't think he'll use Deku though.

Had a sudden scene after posting this of him breaking into Denki's room, for the boy to wake up, watching him put construction nails through the heels of his shoes and using a bolt cutter to cut them off flat after USJ, to help with the backlash issue.

"You're grounded now, Kaminari-san," he says before leaping out the window.

That would be a good joke. He only leaves for class for a while, constantly looking for the villain.
