They’re also based off of countries that are referred to as having a “Special Relationship” in real life (so it’s basically canon irl). Plus, if you’ll notice in the picture, America has a baseball bat and England has a broom??? They’re literally a badass fighter/sporty girl and her witchy girlfriend!!! America is a strong lady who can definitely scoop England up into her arms.
