#Now is Amphibia better than TOH? Probably but I can’t say for sure. I haven’t analyzed it.

I just finished watching Amphibia and I have to say…

The Hardest Thing was a lot more emotional, badass, and gut-wrenching than Watching and Dreaming. I loved how Anne willingly got her power-up knowing she would die to save the universe she loved. I loved how she was asked to watch over the multiverse not because she was “watched over and chosen” but because she used the Calamity box for good.

I even enjoyed the bittersweet ending and its moral: “You can’t hold onto things forever.” It wasn’t the go-to happy ending, it was realistic and showed people to let go, go on with life, and grow as people.
