I think one of the most difficult parts of long term healing (is there really any other kind?) is that it always feels like you're so close to the finished line. But then the line moves again and it keeps moving. And if you're not actively documenting your experience and then actively going back to look at said documentation, it's easy to feel like you've got nothing to show for it. And that's so frustrating. Except it's not really true. For those of us who've been at it for a while now and those of us just beginning... our greatest evidence of the fight is that we're still here. And that means something. That means a lot.
