Best Smartphones in 2020 - Budget to Flagship
Best Smartphones in 2020 - Budget to Flagship
There are tons of smartphones released this year. Among all of the smartphones, there are only a few phones you can buy for best value at the best price. "DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY" I've seen a lot of people purchasing garbage phones tempting to their looks. Despite of their looks and display, nothing in hardware and software is useful. Those kinds of phones will be produced for targeting an audience who are unaware of smartphones and doesn't have much knowledge about them. Those companies just produce phones with good cameras and good displays. That's all! Expect that, they build useless processors and hardware. When the phones come to the market place, the audience who are unaware of phones will end up buying them which because phones are really looking attractive and have good cameras. Which phones you should buy? All I would say is you need to buy a phone only if it has a good processor. In simple words, a processor is a chipset that controls everything in your phone. If your phone got slow down and sticking. Which part is responsible? It's a processor! ZTE Axon 10s Pro, the upcoming smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker, has been spotted on TENAA, revealing key specifications and design details of the phone. The TENAA listing has images showing the phone off from all angles, and the listing also hints at an imminent launch. The company had recently also revealed official press renders of the phone as well, and has said that the Axon 10s Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and that it would come with dual-mode 5G support. It is also confirmed to come with Wi-Fi 6 support, offer UFS 3.0 storage, and launch early next year.
ZTE Axon 10s Pro specifications (expected)
As per the TENAA listing, the ZTE Axon 10s Pro is listed with model number ZTE A2020 SP and is touted to feature a 6.47-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) OLED display. The phone is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 865 SoC, and is listed to pack up to 12GB RAM , and up to 512GB of storage. The phone is expected to run on Android 10, and pack a 3,900mAh battery. Samsung Unpacked: What to expect
Tomorrow we are going to witness Samsung’s second Unpacked event for 2020 and it’s going to be a busy one. Alongside the Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra, we expect to see the Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+. As added bonuses we’ll likely get the Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Buds Live TWS earphones. And as you wait for the event to kick off you might want to check this rumor roundup we’ve compiled to get a better idea of what we expect to see on stage.
Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Note20 Ultra
Following the footsteps of the Galaxy S20 family from earlier this year, the Note lineup will also be introducing an Ultra of its own. However unlike the mainstream flagship line the S Pen-touting Notes won’t be a trio but a duet. So in this case the Note20 is more of a different name for what we would otherwise know as Note20+.
Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra with S Pen in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black colors
Both phones are expected to debut in similar hardware – Exynos 990 for the global market and Snapdragon 865+ for the US and China. Most recent rumors suggest that the Exynos 990 on the Note series will introduce much-improved thermals, performance and power efficiency. Some speculate that this would be the Exynos 990+ but this one remains unconfirmed.
On the front, the Ultra will feature ta curved Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at 6.9″. It will have 120Hz refresh rate and QHD resolution, but it’s unclear if you’ll be able to use both at the same time yet. The vanilla Note20, however, will have to settle for a flat 60Hz 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400px resolution.
Both phones will carry a centered-punch hole and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7 will debut on the Ultra. No info on the screen protection on the vanilla version, but odds are it get the same treatment. The good news is that both handsets will offer considerably slimmer bezels compared to their predecessors.
The most recent rumors claim that the vanilla Note20 will also sport a plastic back. This is going to be the first Note with the said design for a long time.
Other hardware differences would be the storage and RAM. The Ultra is expected to offer up to 512GB of expandable internal storage while the Note20 will be offered in only one variant – 8GB of RAM and 256GB non-expandable storage.
Another thing that the Ultra will borrow from its close relative, the S20 Ultra, is the main camera. The famous 108MP Samsung-made sensor with nona-bayer, 0.8µm pixels. It’s one of the biggest sensors on the market (1/1.33″ type) and is paired with a bright f/1.8 aperture.
The periscope telephoto is have 12MP resolution and f/3.0 5x zoom lens, which will enable 50x hybrid zoom. The ultra-wide camera remains 12MP with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus.
The standard Note20 will miss on the 108MP main camera and use the well-known 12MP Samsung sensor paired with f/1.8 aperture. The ultra-wide camera is the same while the telephoto is 64MP and is limited to 3x optical magnification.
Samsung Galaxy Note20 in Mystic Gray
And as for the front, the punch-hole on both phones is said to house a 10MP cam with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus.
All of this hardware is expected to be powered by a 4,500 mAh unit on the Ultra and 4,300 mAh unit on the vanilla Note20. You will get 25W chargers in the box, but previous Samsung phones would reach higher speeds than the supplied chargers, so we’ll see how high these two can go.
Samsung Galaxy Note20 in Mystic Bronze
Other features like under-display fingerprint reader, stereo loudspeakers, advanced S Pen functionalities and HDR10+ support are a given but there’s a rumor saying that the ultrasonic fingerprint reader is next-gen with bigger reading area, which is great news. We hope that this solves the rather unreliable unlocking.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G
The much-anticipated successor to the original Galaxy Fold is going to introduce a lot of improvements in the design and overall hardware while keeping the price tag.
When the display is unfolded, it would measure 7.7″ in diagonal with 1536 x 2152px resolution but more importantly, it would support HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole replaces the big notch from the previous generation. The secondary display will grow in size too reaching 6.23″ and use a Super AMOLED 1080p panel.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 in Mystic Gray
The Snapdragon 865+ will sit behind the wheel paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Camera-wise, the phone will offer nothing short of flagship-worthy hardware. The 64MP camera with f/1.8 aperture will take the main role while the 12MP f/2.4 telephoto is capped at 2x optical zoom and the 16MP unit with f/2.2 aperture will be doing the ultra-wide shots. The same 10MP front-facing camera from the Galaxy Note20-series will be sitting in the punch-hole on the inside. And to make things even more convenient, there’s another 10MP camera like that sitting on the cover display.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 in Mystic Bronze
The battery inside is going to be 4,356 mAh and will support 15W fast wired charging, 15W fast wireless charging and 9W reverse wireless charging.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+
Samsung’s flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ will debut alongside the phones with powerful and impressive hardware on board. The S7+ is expected to feature a glorious 12.4-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and 1752 x 2800px resolution. The vanilla S7, on the other hand, settles for an IPS LCD measuring 11″ in diagonal and having slightly lower 1600 x 2560px resolution. Still, the 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support are on the list of features.
Due to the difference in display technology, the S7 will be offering side-mounted fingerprint reader whereas the S7+ will boast an under-display fingerprint reader.
For optimal multimedia experience, both devices are expected to carry four loudspeakers tuned by AKG.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+
As you’d expect, both slates will be powered by the Snapdragon 865+ and storage options go up to 256GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7
The batteries on both tablets are expected to be – 10,090 mAh for the bigger S7+ and 7,040 mAh for the vanilla S7. Finally, fast charging up to 45W will be a feature on both versions of the tablet. It’s an overdue functionality and we are glad to finally see it in Samsung’s high-end tablets.
Samsung Galaxy Watch3
Skipping the Galaxy Watch2, the Galaxy Watch3 is the successor to the original Galaxy Watch from two years ago. And after the Galaxy Watch Active2, this one will mark the return of the physical rotating bezel. That’s definitely a welcomed decision as we and the touch-sensitive wasn’t nearly as cool as the clicky, physical bezel.
The watch is expected to feature some advanced functionalities like hand gesture support, fall detection, blood pressure monitor and ECG. Unfortunately, the SoC powering up the device is still unknown but the display will be impressive, as always.
Measuring 1.4″ in diagonal, the round Super AMOLED display will be protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass DX+ for smart wearables. The expected resolution is 360 x 360px. A 340 mAh battery will keep the lights on – smaller than the 472 mAh unit on the original Galaxy Watch. Did leaksters get this wrong or is Samsung confident the optimizations it did will help achieve similar battery life with less juice.
Speaking of the body, the 45mm model will come in two variants – titanium or stainless steel as the latter will be offered with LTE. The 41mm model, however, will skip the titanium but will still be available with LTE.
Galaxy Buds Live
Finally, the Galaxy Buds will get a big upgrade – in terms of design and features. The bean-shaped Buds Live will finally bring ANC to Samsung’s TWS lineup.
Leaked renders
Make sure to tune in for the online Unpacked event at 2PM UTC tomorrow, August 5 to see if leaksters got those right or if Samsung will still be able to surprise us.
