#Not saying that Yukari is weak though

((I like that Dream Kasen basically reaffirmed the possibility I had that Yukari is actually kind of weak in comparison to the other sages, and that's kind of my personal headcanon at this point))
#dash commentary#Okay so personal headcanon time with Amber#Dream Kasen basically says that Yukari kept sending out people to solve the incident for her and claims she knows what she's doing#And I have this personal headcanon of her that she usually acts like a sore loser when things don't go her way#Like she sends Youkai to the moon only for the moon to win and she goes 'YEAH I JUST WANT TO TEACH THE YOUKAI A LESSON'#Moreover with Okina where she doesn't have anything guarding her other than herself#While Yukari has TWO Shikigami with her#Not saying that Yukari is weak though#It's more like her biggest strength is her cunning and the ability is to keep people guessing her true intentions#But in terms of strength she most likely isn't that powerful and people like Yuugi can flatten her#But her mind is extremely powerful

Can you please do the sees girls being on their period and their male s/o trying to help them and comfort them but he has barely any clue what do do?
S.E.E.S girls x M! Reader
Imagine being on your period and your boyfriends in shambles
N: what if I looked you right in the eyes and told u I've been listening to tricot so much it's beaten Raise A Sulien on my spotify board. LISTEN TO TOKYO VAMPIRE HOTEL RAAAAA
Warnings: Mentions of blood/bleeding,
Nothing can go wrong! One cramp it's over. Totally wiped, Terror shock, smackdown, crit hit she's down. She's gonna turn into Minato real quick
"Urrgghhhhhhh" "you alright" "Nooooo" she whines arching her back "can you try sitting down somewhere" "there's no seats" "you can lean on me then" solver of all problems despite being the most confused man on earth y/n!! The one person from keeping her from stealing Minatos eyebags and overall tiredness
You'd try to take her to the mail to cheer her up, mention karaoke opening up and she's able to run over in milisecounds. "I heard your call" "did you here this a discount because of the anniversary" she'd get so excited she ran to the wrong direction
You'd also buy her gifts during this time, specially the jack bro claw machine gifts and new music that comes out
You pamper her so much she'd tease you on it. "My humble servent!" "Yes?" "Bring me thy homework! Filled with thy answers" "we can do it together" "what a great suggestion" there would be times she'd ask for piggy back rides in public aswell and people would catch you zomming around with her on your back shounting like she were on a roller coaster
She'd get a bit bratty, apologizing for it later. "It's so embrassing I'm sorry you put up with it" "it's fine don't worry about it" she growns knowing she's probably going to act similarly next time.
You'd hear her express more often than she usually does, which is terrifying, she groan alot, huff, squint more, yea just don't get her frustrated or catch her after the average conversation with jinpei. "HES JUST SO UGGHHH" "I'm sure he didn't mean it" "he won't shut up he's so lucky you're here" you already imagine her arguing with him and him responding with "holy yapington!"
The type to hide under the blanket and poke out if you bring snacks. "I brought you snacks yukari" you place them on the mattress and watch them being taken in secounds "...oh that was...somethin" don't let your intrusive thoughts win though, once you put your hand there you're being dragged under with her near instantly.
She'd trip a bit more often. Would lean on you alot if she's fallen alot that day. "Sorry just a bit dizzy" "don't worry about it, not like the floor isn't used to it by now" her face changes to a disapointed frown, you apologize near instantly
She'd hit you with the classic. "Hey, would you give me the whole world if you could?" You pause knowing the trick question. You try to withhold your sweat as you hold her hand. "Not just this world but the whole universe." "y/n..." she smiles, embracing you. "You're so sweet" now just avoiding every question like this or answer with the most crazy thing and she won't hit you with a "so other planets belong to other women?" These are mostly jokes tho but she'll act like she holds a grudge
Won't let it show until it has a kick to it (enough to have someone start leaning on stuff) she believes she can handle it as usual but this one...eh not so much, of course you wouldn't know much either until she straight up told you she felt weak
So when you convince her to take the day off you get everything for her from class. "Even though she was on her period she mustn't slack" was probably what she would say, she'd try to attend school but if she couldnt you'd be the first person she told
She gets you to do her daily activities for her and honestly props to you. You'd attended student council in her place, ask her classmates for notes, stop by a market or two if she asked. "I'm sorry if I'm bombarding you with these tasks" "it's fine.." you'd probably wonder why you got so used to writing in two notebooks a little too quickly
She would go to tartarus in this and just be like "I got it" she indeed did not have it. She'd come back to the dorm totally wiped but she'd try to keep the "I'm fine" act going and then as soon as she gets in bed she's knocked out. She doesn't even tie up her hair which is where you come in, the routine saver!! "I can't thank you enough" "don't worry at all about it"
She'd also get pretty clingy on her period, you're casually seeing her vulnerable you're not going to leave just yet. "Don't go" "?" She looks blankly at the foot of her bed, you sit down with her "how long would you like me to stay" "...." her cheeks turn a bit pink "until I feel better" getting to see her flustered gets your mouth to tease into a smile. "I can do that" she'd definitely think about it when her periods over and just regret every action, yet wouldn't mind asking you every once in a while
You gotta have that dawg in you to date fuuka/ref and a bit of inferrance skill
She would try to not let it show as it would drag others down but she can't really hide it well around you. "Here" you hand her a pad "I thought it hid it well this time" she pounts a bit disapointed "you can't really hide how you get a bit paler when this happens, do you want me to make something" "you don't have to..." "I'll make you that thing youve been wanting me to try" she narrows her eyes "tough offer"
If she did go to school with you, Yukari would comment on how low on energy Fuuka seemed to be. "She looks kinda down" "yea I've been trying to cheer her up a bit but nothings really working" Yukari narrows her eyes at you "you didn't happen to upset her did you" you scratch your head "no she's just on her period maybe sweets or something" She'd be so embrassed if you brought up the time she thought you upset Fuuka, and then see you come in with those Japanese gummy foods to make with her.
You try to tuck her in and make sure she has as much rest as possible, she might resist because of s.e.e.s but you being blissfully unaware just say "im sure they'll understand you can't go today, they're just a club" she would toss and turn thinking of shadows ending up with asking you to stay with her because she couldn't sleep
Unrested Fuuka and she's on her period? You don't need just the dawg you need god. "I feel like I'm letting everyone down.." "they know you need to rest Fuuka it's alright" she grips at your shoulders. "Yea but I still feel horrible for it" "Fuuka how about this I'll bring you notes and your homework and we can do it together" she sighs "then I'll drag you down!" She tears up, noticing this you hug her. "Fuuka, we're in the same class if anything I'm just being a mail man, you won't drag anyone down if you're willing enough to keep up so you don't have to ask many questions when you get back" she lossens her grip on you looking up to see your face "really?" "Really"
Im...you think her blood streams oil? She'd probably compare a period to a malfunction or just feeling aggressively glum for a week
"Y/n I don't know why but I feel so fatigued" "did anything happen?" "No, not that I'm aware of" "must be your version of a period" you shrug your shoulders not even sure if that's even right. "I'll see what I can do" you had no dang clue so you just decided to tuck her in bringing a stuffed animal just incase
She'd law down super awkwardly just full on still. "Do you think my limbs will get caught in this blanket?" "Should I replace it?" "No it's quite comfortable"
She'd also get a bit clumsy, which is horrible when tests come along. "I seem to have put the wrong choice despite knowing the correct answer" "that happens to all of us" you sigh reminding yourself of all the times you put the wrong answer to find out later the correct one. So asking to study is critical even if she still dosent know the material she has spirit!
She would come to school, this doesn't stop her from staring down at you as soon as class was over, just scarier. "You gotta stop doing that" you shiver after the 9th jumpsca re this year alone. "I'd like to take you to your next class" "thank you Aigis please don't do this to wake me up" "I think it would be effective" "effective in giving me nightmares" thank god those jumpscares only happen for a few days

I'm so glad you love Kira Kira so much!!! It's such an underrated season ahhhh. The only thing keeping it from my own top spot is the treatment of Rio. He's my favorite precure character of all time and I simply can't let it slide T-T
Oooh yes it's so good! Like, it has the most well-constructed character arcs for each of the cures of any season, most are more lopsided.
Like with Ichika! She loves making sweets, but she's not very good at it at first. She's not a lethal chef or anything, she just isn't very experienced and doesn't know a lot. I loved watching her slowly work together with her friends to learn how to bake. It's not like some instant thing, you just notice her slow improvement throughout the season.
She does have something she's naturally gifted at, and that's decoration! She's really good at decorating treats in a way that will bring joy to the person who receives them, to the point that Ciel, a baking prodigy, actually learns from her in that regard.
Himari's arguably the most blatantly autistic cure there's ever been, and that's saying a lot. She loves baking and is an expert on the chemistry of it. Unfortunately, she's been discouraged from sharing her passion in the past, since her classmates got bored with her infodumping about the subject. I love her character arc about learning to come out of her shell and finding a way to use her infodumping tendencies for good by finding a receptive audience who enjoys being taught by her!
Aoi has my favorite character arc of the Cures. I love how she was inspired by her idol to become a musician and rock out with her bandmates, and how she's going against what's expected of her because, surprisingly enough, she's the heir to a wealthy family. She doesn't have any interest in running the corporation though. I loved her finding her voice and standing up for what she wants to do!
Cure Chocolat has one of the prettiest designs in Pretty Cure, in my opinion! Akira's character arc has some weaknesses, but it's still compelling. She's got a sick little sister she's protective of, and she tends to put too much on herself. I didn't really like that the show emphasized those self-sacrificial qualities - seriously she's gonna burn out at some point - but otherwise she's great!
She also has one of the most blatant queer relationships in the show. Like Kira Kira never SAYS that Akira and Yukari are a couple, but it sure hints at it.
There's never been a Pretty Cure character quite like Yukari. Even Yui, who's also a cat, is pretty different from her. Like she has this thing going on where she's good at everything instantly and it gets boring, which is why macarons interested her - she actually FAILED the first several times and had to work at making those to make them good.
I don't even really know how to describe her, she's so catlike. I don't think she actually changes a lot like the others do, you just see more facets of her. I love how easily she's able to act and fool villains, making them think they have the upper hand when she's actually playing them like a fiddle.
So her starting off as this haughty, slightly conceited prodigy who didn't think much of Ichika's merely alright pastries (given that she's world famous and has trained under the fanciest bakers in Paris), but slowly grows to see that even if Ichika's actual pastries are lackluster, they have a lot of heart, a lot of Kira Kira in them, and trying to figure out why that is. Her whole breakdown when she realizes how she just... didn't see what Pikario was going through, why he freaked out and ran away, and how he was then infected with evil and taken advantage of and STILL refused to talk to her even after being purified... she became a lot better at reading people as the season went on. I really love how she reached out to Biburi especially. She might not have been able to do much to save her brother, but she can help her at least.
On the bright side, at least Pikario got to be the first guy to have a claim to being a precure? Even if it was just a temporary power-up and he didn't get a Cure name, he was still first on that.
Pikario's the second-best Heel-Face Turn character I've seen in Precure (sorry Pikario, but Setsuna takes the top spot). I love how understandable his motives are. He and his sister went to Paris to learn how to be bakers together, but she's improving by leaps and bounds while he's being left behind and is becoming more and more frustrated, and she's rarely even around anymore. And then the last straw, when he makes the waffles she complimented so highly before, only for her to tell him they weren't as good as the ones from before... it was honest, but no wonder he snapped.
I love that he and his sister still had things to work out afterwards and that all his problems weren't instantly solved once he was freed of the brainwashing, the underlying problems that caused him to be vulnerable still had to actually be fixed first.
He definitely got cheated, he was one of the most interesting characters in the season (and the franchise, honesty), but he was put in a coma for a substantial portion of the show and didn't get to join the team permanently. But what WAS there still makes him a top-tier character.
---
I adore these characters so much, Kira Kira is SO underrated it's criminal.

Who are your fav persona 3 people!!!
[cracks knuckles] I'm glad you asked
So! I don't actively /dislike/ anyone in the p3 cast, but some of them definitely speak to me more than others:
First things first: Ryoji. Love that guy. He's so silly. And so tragic. And he makes me sad. (Like holy SHIT I wasn't expecting a reprise of his song in the stage play on December 31st but it TOOK ME OUT) (also Ryomina my love)
The whole Shinji, Ken, and Akihiko trio ALSO lives in my head rent free... two idiots and their son. love them. I've been desperately scouring for Akishinji content and between that, Ryomina, and Shuake, I've come to realise that my shipping habits seem to boil down to "doomed yaoi" HAHA
More on Ken, I have a LOT of thoughts about how he and Akechi would interact and (likely) get along. Whether that be in the p5 era or a situation a la Throw Away Your Mask. (Or, something I've yet to find: Akechi with no time travel shenanigins getting in on the p3 plot. You can bet THAT'S a longfic idea I've got rattling around) (Also the half-brothers headcanon is super fun. Especially when combined with Futago siblings. Congratulations, Shido! All your kids are persona users, and they all hate you! :D)
Aigis! She's just. Infinitely charming. She'll say something that will absolutely take me out and then turn around and say something devestating HAHA. I also think that her and Ryoji's social link and linked episodes respectively do a LOT of thematic work in the story. Death himself and the girl that can't die, both trying to figure out how to live (y'all that shit's METAL)
Strega are so interesting to me... I don't think they're perfect villains- I think their motivation is underexplored and a bit choppy, but ASIDE from that, I really like all three of them as characters. Idk why Jin is so funny to me LMAO he's so in love with Takaya and Takaya's just like "k. met your quota yet?" (But, also, some of Takaya's lines definitely imply that he cares about Jin too, but doesn't let himself acknowledge that at all due to his whole "attachments are weakness" shtick, another thematic point to contest his ideology, as he is actively denying himself happiness in pursuit of some idea of salvation)
Chidori- I like her well enough. Some of her lines really did make me smile, but I think she's another case of "underdeveloped" (I actually read Throw Away Your Mask before I played p3r, so that fic did a lot of the heavy lifting for my like of Chidori (and, by extension, Jundori) i think)
Which leads nicely into: Junpei! He's da man. Nuff' said. HAHA if you can't tell, I love Junpei. Awkward dudebro stuff aside (though it's occasionally part of his charm), I really love his development and personality in general. I really love how all the "bro" characters across the modern three persona games, while fulfilling the same archetype, are all distinct in personality and motivation and I love them ALL
Mitsuru is quite interesting to me, but I think she might be a case of "I wish her social link was about something else". Personal preference of course, but I kind of wish that it focused more on this intense guilt she seems to have for things that a) weren't her fault, and b) happened when she was 7 or younger. THAT is a super interesting mindset to explore, imo, though I did find her social ineptitude charming haha
Yukari... I think that she might grow on me more later. I can feel it in my bones. I suppose I'll find out with The Answer dlc! I know broadly what happens in it, but I haven't actually seem a playthrough of it, nor do I really know what happens to all the characters. I think my opinion of Yukari might have been tainted slightly by everyone having such strong opinions HAHA- I definitely like her, but I don't think she's clicked just yet. (I did really like her social link, though!) (also Yukamitsu I love Yukamitsu. The lesbians aren't doomed! Good for them)
Okay this is going to upset some people probably but Koromaru isn't really much of a character and I keep forgetting about him LMAO. uh. he's a good boy?
Fuuka... I really think that she's just underdeveloped. Her social link didn't really do her any favours in my eyes (I'm SO glad that atlus cut the "girl learns to cook" social link in p5 HAHA i really didn't like it with Yukiko either) Her social link obviously isn't just the cooking shenanigins, but it overshadows the bits of character growth that happen intermittently. I think that her SL really would have benefitted from being more about her love of electronics, if anything, since that isn't explored AT ALL and is more a plot device than a character trait. (Plus, the root of all her self-esteem issues go unadressed, which I think would have been a good character beat otherwise) (In saying this I think Fuuka/Natsuki is very cute. The lesbians stay winning in p3)
Makoto/Minato! Honestly, I was pretty neutral towards him from the majority of the fics I had read before playing p3r. I really like his characterisation in Throw Away Your Mask and The Twilight Wants Him Back, but those had been outliers in my mind. I started liking him more and more after playing p3r, and NOW, after having watched 1/4 of the p3 movies- oh boy. boy oh boy. I really like him now HAHA. Having his apathy actually effect his realtionships with SEES early on is super interesting and I love when it's done. (plus, I think Yukari hating him at first really strengthens their friendship later on)
Uh this post is already super long so for all the other plot-relavant characters and confidants I'm just gonna say "it's a secret" and melt into a bush or something
(tysm for the ask! You can tell I was waiting for an excuse to talk about this HAHA)
(btw y'all shoud read the fics I mentioned in this- they're excellent)
#persona 3#persona 3 reload#persona 3 spoilers#asks#The lesbians really are winning in p3#good for them... good for them!#HAHA anyways I'm DEFINITELY going to write these characters at some point#long post#loooong post#whoops

Somewhere in the world, a man crumples to the floor. Blood oozes from a wound in his leg, but he still breathes.
Somewhere in the world, a man gets up despite a grevious injury- all to protect a boy who wanted to kill him. He struggles for breath as another bullet is fired at his chest. The sound of shattering glass rings out in the aftermath of the gunshots, smoke rising through the sickly green air.
Somewhere in the world, a boy screams as the man collapses again, eyes unfocused and staring at a faraway point in the distance. The moon reflects in his eyes as he tries to hold on, he doesn’t want to die in front of this child. He’s seen enough dead bodies for his age.
Somewhere in the world, someone screams as they run towards the scene. A thin man disappears into the shadows, tucking the gun into his belt. The boy sobs over the man’s body, clinging to his coat as though his tiny, bloodstained hands are enough to keep him tethered to life.
“Shinjiro!” Makoto shouts, skidding on his knees by the scene. Blood pools underneath his upperclassman, dripping from the hole in his leg. It’s a disgusting sight, but as one of the leaders, he has to keep his cool.
Kotone kneels beside Shinjiro’s head, scraping her knees in the process. She shows no sign of even noticing, too busy checking for any sign of life.
“Fuuka, do you still sense him?” Makoto asks, clasping his hand over the wound. Blood leaks between his fingers and he curses, pressing harder. “Fuuka!”
She opens her eyes, watery with tears. She gives a single nod, and Makoto’s eyes snap to Yukari. “Give me your ribbon, now!”
She hurries to undo the bow at her chest, handing the red fabric to Makoto as he unsheathes his sword. Questions will most definitely be asked later, but all he cares about right now is keeping Shinjiro alive.
While Makoto busies himself with creating a makeshift tourniquet, Kotone strips Shinjiro of his coat. She curses, pulling her hand away as her finger drips scarlet. She reaches into the breast pocket of Shinjiro’s coat, and produces a broken pocket watch. Makoto hears her muffle her sob as she clutches it in her hand.
So the pocket watch deflected the bullet. There’s definitely broken glass embedded in Shinjiro’s skin, and probably broken ribs from the impact of the bullet, but it’s a hell of a lot better than being dead.
Makoto ties off the tourniquet and rises to his feet. Kotone does the same.
“Mitsuru, grab your motorcycle. It runs during the Dark Hour, right?” Kotone says. Mitsuru gives only a curt nod before she hauls off, heels clicking against the pavement. After a brief moment, the sound pauses, then resumes again without any clicking. She must have discarded her heels.
“Does anyone have a marker I can use?” Makoto asks, and Junpei reaches into his pocket. The exchange is wordless as Makoto scribbles 00:00 on Shinjiro’s forehead. Exactly midnight- that would save some questions, at least.
He swears again in exhaustion as he rests his head against Shinjiro’s stomach. He can hear a weak, pittering heartbeat fighting to continue on. Thankfully, the revving of a motorcycle comes roaring up within a few seconds, and Makoto once again hauls himself to his feet.
“Akihiko, help me carry Shinjiro. Mitsuru, will you be okay taking him by yourself?”
Mitsuru nods. “I can take care of things from here. We only have a few minutes before the Dark Hour ends, and before Shinjiro runs out of time.”
“Should we wait for you at the hospital?” Yukari asks quickly, gathering up her bow from where she had discarded it on the ground in the panic.
“No, go back to the dorms. Get some rest- I’ll meet you all there!”
Mitsuru revs her engine after ensuring Shinjiro was secure on the bike, and disappears as the sickly green of the world retreats. Radio static plays from somewhere further into the back alley, cutting through the grim silence.
Makoto walks over to Ken, who’s still crumpled into a ball. His sobs are muffled by his jackets, but they wrack his tiny body to its core. Makoto can hear him hiccuping as he kneels beside him.
“Ken, look at me,” he says, trying very, very hard to be gentle and delicate around the poor fragile boy. Ken looks up from his place on the ground, and Makoto can tell he’s a wreck.
“Why don’t you sleep in my dorm with me tonight?” Makoto offers, and Ken sniffles, blinking away a fresh wave of tears.
“O- Okay...” he mumbles through his hiccups. Makoto reaches out slowly, and scoops Ken into his arms. Almost immediately Ken clings to him, tiny fists balled up in his shirt despite the fact that it has his own and Shinjiro’s blood on it.
Makoto hates himself for thinking that the blood will never come out. He hates himself for thinking about anything other than Shinjiro or Ken or Akihiko-
God, Akihiko. How’s Akihiko doing?
He tunes back in to the others in the group and hears Kotone’s soft voice rambling. Out of the corner of his eye he spots a red ribbon next to a shock of white and understands what’s happening. She’s comforting him, just like Makoto is comforting Ken.
The others are quiet as a funeral procession- the thought makes Makoto sick to his stomach- but he feels someone nudge right between his shoulderblades and knows it to be Junpei. A reassurance of sorts, an acknowledgement that he’s still there.
Makoto is more grateful for it than he could ever make Junpei realise.
The dorms stay quiet for all but an hour before there’s footsteps marching down the creaky steps to the lounge.
More footsteps follow, lighter than the first pair but heavier than some. More footsteps are quick to follow, along with whispered voices. Ken stirs in bed beside Makoto, blinking groggily.
“Mako...? What’s going on...?” He asks, rubbing his eyes with the backs of his hands. Makoto finds himself reaching out to smooth Ken’s hair down- it’s flying everywhere. He pointedly ignores the nickname.
“I think everyone is going to the lounge. Do you wanna join them? We can stay in here if you want.”
Ken pauses for a while. For a second, Makoto wonders if he’s fallen back asleep.
But then he shakes his head, moving to crawl out of bed. Makoto stands up to let him leave, pulling on his slippers to follow. Tonight wasn’t the night to be antisocial.
The two plod downstairs, and soon Akihiko joins them, and Kotone is quick to follow from her room upstairs.
Soon, everyone is sitting on the floor in the lobby area- there aren’t enough seats, so they content themselves with finding different positions to sit in.
Ken has sandwiched himself between Kotone and Makoto, Akihiko sits crosslegged with his elbows propped up on his knees beside Kotone. Mitsuru sits beside Akihiko on her knees, hands fiddling with the hem of her nightdress. Yukari has placed herself beside Mitsuru, knees drawn up to her chest, arms resting on top of them. Fuuka sits beside Yukari, crosslegged with Koromaru curled up in her lap. Junpei sits beside Makoto, also crosslegged with one hand resting on Makoto’s knee. The weight is comforting. Aigis sits like Yukari, but her hands are placed palms-down on the floor.
No one speaks for a while, simply taking comfort in everyone else’s presence. Everyone, even Shinjiro, is alive. They managed to save him.
Finally, Yukari pushes herself to her feet. “I can’t do this. I’m making everyone hot chocolate, and we’re going to watch movies until we fall asleep!”
Junpei also gets up, and Makoto misses the weight on his knee. “I’ll make some popcorn, then,” he says. Mitsuru gets up, too.
“I’ll get the extra blankets from the Command Room. Akihiko, would you help me?” She says, and Akihiko crawls to his feet with a nod.
“Yeah. Do we already have movies out here?”
Kotone nods. “Yeah, we’ve got a bunch of DVDs and a few rentals. Lots of vareity.”
Akihiko gives her a weak grin before accompanying Mitsuru upstairs. Junpei and Yukari slip into the kitchen, quietly arguing between themselves. Fuuka nudges Koromaru off her lap, getting up.
“Aigis, will you help me rearrange the lounge? I’m going to adjust the TV and couches so everyone can see the screen,” she asks, approaching an armchair with uncertainty.
However, Aigis nods, and the two get to work- which leaves Makoto, Kotone, and Ken the only ones not doing anything.
Makoto nudges Ken gently. “When everyone gets back, do you want to build a blanket fort?” He asks. Ken stirs, looking up at Makoto sleepily. With a small jolt, he realises that Ken has never stayed up past midnight before. The Dark Hour doesn’t really count, either.
“Okay...” Ken mumbles, rubbing his eyes. Kotone twists in her spot and gives Ken a hug, resting her head on top of his.
Makoto feels him trembling, and hugs him too. “We’ve got you, Ken,” he mumbles, hoping he isn’t making it worse. He cares about Ken- about everyone. He kinda sucks at showing up, but he knows he’d risk his life to keep them safe if he needed to.
“All of us do. You aren’t alone anymore, okay? We’ll always be here for you,” Kotone whispers, her voice as shaky as Ken’s body.
“I know. I... I trust you guys,” Ken murmurs, wiping away his tears. He’s too young to be having this conversation with him. He’s too young for all the horrors he’s seen. He’s too young to be bearing such a burden.
Ken Amada is far too young. It makes Makoto want to tear the universe to shreds for ever inflicting these things on him- on anyone. His friends don’t deserve to suffer as they have, they deserve to live calm, peaceful lives. They deserve to laugh with their loved ones instead of grieve them in back alleys or in the ruins of a wrecked home.
They deserve to live.
Makoto slowly pulls away. “Ken, do you mind helping me grab some pillows? If we’re gonna make a blanket fort, we’ve gotta have pillows.”
Ken nods, and Makoto helps him to his feet. The poor kid sways a bit, but the grin he gives is blinding. Despite it all, he smiles.
Upstairs, Makoto glances at Ken. His gaze is far away, and he’s clinging to Makoto’s hand.
“...Makoto-san?” Ken asks, breaking the silence. His voice is small and tremulous- it hurts to hear.
“What’s up?”
Ken has stopped walking now, has let go of Makoto’s hand now. He hugs his elbows, staring at the ground.
“...I’m sorry. I’m the reason why Shin-”
Makoto pulls Ken into a hug, shaking his head. No, it’s not his fault. It’s never his fault, it will never be his fault.
“It was Strega’s fault, not yours,” he says, but Ken continues to protest. Makoto doesn’t blame him, even if it hurts to hear. Even if Makoto could make Ken see that Shinjiro ending up in the hospital wasn’t truly his fault, he wouldn’t blame him for thinking that way.
He thinks that hurts the most.
“I was the one who asked him to come! I wanted to kill him, and if Strega hadn’t gotten to him I would have! I would have killed him! I... I would have...”
Ken devolves into sobs, balling his fists into Makoto’s shirt. He clings, tighter than he has thus far. Makoto still doesn’t judge him. It’s reasonable given everything that’s happened to him. Even just tonight alone, he’s seen more than a child ever should.
“What-ifs don’t matter anymore, Ken. What’s done is done. Shinjiro is alive, and he’s going to be okay. We’re all going to be okay. I promise,” Makoto says. He means it.
Ken looks up at him. It takes him a moment before he nods, blinking away the remnants of his tears. Makoto gives him a small smile, and he returns it. It’s weak, but it’s something. Anything is better than nothing.
“I trust you, Makoto-san.”
GAAAHHHHH D: thank you for the emotional despair QHAT THE FUCK...... makoto is right ken should not have to feel these emotions he is only ten years old. he shouldnt have to but the world is a bitch. but at least shinji is alive by some stroke of luck. hnmghh this was so well written claire good work it made me feel 100x worse

was wondering what your thoughts are on the women of persona 3? I've seen you talk about yukari a lot but what do you think of mitsuru, fuuka, aigis and chidori?
I sort of had a big review of Persona 3 a while back where I talked about my feelings on reload and loving it after seeing a let’s play of the original and hating it. But to reiterate:
Mitsuru: She has a lot of shortcomings in the narrative, but I still think she’s pretty solidly written. I can at least see why she cares about her dad, in opposition to Haru’s cartoonishly evil father, though I wish the story spent a little more time having her grapple with the implications of inheriting the big evil coorporation that started this mess. Like, I know I’m biased because I hate capitalism, but I think she should have denounced the Kirijo name and did her own thing, and also punched that cop in the face too. I enjoy her arc about learning to open up and enjoy being a teen though. I will say, her social link is rubbish. Clearly written with shipping first and exploring her character waaaaaay last. So yeah, good character, could have been better.
Fuuka: I think too much of Fuukas arc was fromtloaded. When she shows up she’s seemingly weak willed, shown through how she can only sit back and scan enemies, but powerful in how she can get her bully to respect her through her kindness, and her scanning ability wins you the fight. But for most of the game, her dialogue is mostly just her finding the full moon enemies which is a shame. I think her final awakening might be the best in the game however, though it’s in stiff competition with Junpei. I think her bond with Natsuki is legit great. I got emotional when Natsuki was like ‘the biggest bitch in the school is leaving and you’re sad’ like noooooo Fuuka cares so much about you and that’s her strength! I will say, again, her social link is really bad. It’s not shippy bad like Mitsuru, but could they not think of a better story for this main character than learning how to cook?
Aigis: I said before that in my first watch of P3 I hated the game, and I REALLY didn’t like Aigis. Having this robot who buries her face in your bare chest and watches you sleep made me feel like I was witnessing somebodies fetish put into this jrpg. On a playthrough of reload however, I grew way more attached to her. The whole ‘robot learns to feel’ trope is very standard, but it’s one I love all the same, and there were a lot of moments I appreciated like Aigis getting excited over ladybugs, or imitating Junpei. I also think that SEES felt way more like actual friends when playing reload, which made me far more convinced that Aigis would come to see them as a found family rather than in the original where the mc would only interact with the other characters if they were romancable, and also cheating is mandatory. I also watched the movies after beating reload and this isn’t really relevant but: I sorta see Yukari as the main love interest in the game version and Aigis as the main love interest in the movies. But yes, it took me till reload but I really like Aigis. Oh yeah and her social link is 10/10. Just hanging around with her and letting her enjoy life. It’s always cuter, and more romantic when they do this with the social links instead of GET YOUR WAIFU GO FETCH.
Chidori: Chidori is so good. It makes me wish that the Persona series would have more ‘canon’ romances instead of making every woman that moves a romance option for the player because the romance between Chidori and Junpei is so fucking good. I think she’s a real embodiment of the themes the game has, of loving life and living to the fullest because it will end someday, instead of moping around waiting for it to happen. I think her existence also shows off how horrid Stregas mindset is, because they’re readily willing to dispose of her because of their belief that nothing in life matters. I love that she has a full character arc learning to appreciate life through the people around her, as her art begins to reflect this new state with her drawing of Junpei, and I LOVE if you engage with her and Junpeis love story and help encourage Junpei that it’s worth trying for this relationship you get to save her in the end! It’s a nice little ‘Okay, did you understand the themes we’re trying to put forward here? If so, you get a reward!’ moment. My one nitpick is, I wish that in the route you save her, she showed up during the ending. Maybe in the segment where you’re walking around, you see Junpei talking to her and when you question it he’s like ‘What are you talking about, Chidori’s been in this class for a while.’ I think it’d be cute. But yeah, 10/10

Some general thoughts on Precure All Stars F:
1) I knew it going in, but it really is delightful that the literal plot of this movie is some kind of all-powerful alien capable of destroying planets deciding after a fight to become the most powerful being in the universe: a magical girl. (Complete with mascot made of the weak and useless parts of yourself like compassion and a desire for friendship and ugh you’re not destroying things with our incredible cosmic power, get away from me.)
2) Laura: I’m looking for someone (my girlfriend.)
Mashiro: What a coincidence! I’m looking for my girlfriend too!
3) Love how StarTwi staff have said Lala’s “On my home planet I am TOTALLY AN ADULT” is a lie, but she still got grouped in on Team Adult… as the token kid.
4) I will say, the evil alien bunny girl does have a really good sense of style.
5) Tsubasa just fanboys every time he meets a princess, huh. What a dork. <3
6) I missed Manatsu and Laura so much. But you know who I missed more? Nodoka. Also love the inherent in-joke of Nodoka talking about how she misses and is looking for Rabirin to Mashiro, who shares a VA.
7) So yeah the train part made me go wibbly. Also, Nodoka took up running to build her stamina but still can’t run as fast as the others, none of whom are particularly athletic but also aren’t chronically ill. YES. (Laura trying to use her tail to bridge the gap was a nice touch.)
8) A tiny puppy reminds Yukari of her girlfriend, who is a dog.
9) The reunions were so cute, all times. Team Soaring Sky getting a group hug. Manatsu and Laura getting a HUGE hug while Yui and Amane and Nodoka and Asumi’s are a bit more restrained. So cute. (And then meanwhile, the adorable bunny mascot with Serious Trauma is having a very reasonable freakout. Poor Puca.)
10) Team Wing sees explosions in the castle and just vanishes for like five minutes only to reappear having already defeated Supreme’s “final boss.” High achievers, all of them.
11) Also La Mer getting to do her little “Victory!” jump and kick after her attack, even though they’re still running. So cute.
12) Reiterating what I said when Toei posted the first Big All-Precure Fight Scene: People were not kidding, Milky Rose looks dead there, and I’m not sure we actively see her get up later in the scene when everyone rallies? I… assume so? Looking forward to people uploading screenshots of a lot of the quick shot sequences to get a closer look (that one and the Cure Allies shots during All For One Forever, in particular.)
13) So the last couple movies hadn’t used Miracle Lights. Sure. But would it really be an All Stars movie - for a milestone anniversary, no less - without them? Of course not.
14) I am always a sucker for a good memory montage featuring the power of love. And oh, that was a good one. Not sure my favorite: Manatsu and Laura and Yui and Amane reacting to their shared memories are both fantastic, but so’s Yukari just standing by the wall as her memory plays out, and of course they pick That Scene from Healin’ Good for Rabirin and Nodoka’s maximum emotional impact.
15) That said: Distinctly NOT a fan of Supreme’s design featuring a darker skin tone once she goes evil and only when she goes evil, even though she keeps the black costume change in the ending.
16) I was admittedly a LITTLE disappointed when I got the soundtrack to realize they weren’t repeating All Stars Memories with a like twelve-minute fight scene track that was a medley of the theme songs. I do love the eight-minute medley track. All For One Forever is more than acceptable as a substitute, though.
17) We finally get the Delicious Party/Kirakira a la mode teamup we all wanted and deserved. Plus, bonus food-themed Cures adding their own powers to the mix! The ULTIMATE battle cake.
18) Also great: Laura and Minami’s “did we just become best friends?” attack. (All the thematic combos were delightful but seriously La Mer and Mermaid just seeing each other and going “let’s do a combo” is PERFECT.)
19) Yukari and Akira trying to act cool once they’re reunited, like Yukari hasn’t been utterly miserable all movie because her girlfriend is gone. Lala wiping out some cannon fodder so Yukari can have a moment with her girlfriend. (Lala understands. Her girlfriend was past the cutoff for getting two major cast members this movie. Probably because Nodoka and Rabirin with Team Prism had thematic purpose and a sequence break would look seriously weird - Hikaru seems like a shoo-in for Team Sky’s Goofball Energy And Preme.)
20) Cure Puca, like Ellee, gets the benefits of being a Precure seemingly requiring you to be a humanoid teenager/whatever’s going on with Cure Earth Who Is At Least This Tall Unless You’re A Mascot: being able to give a heroic speech.
21) Things I’m remembering last-minute I enjoyed: Sora showing the others her Hero Diary and being sad when she sees the “We Are Pretty Cure” page of her and Prism holding hands. Sora incorporating Yui’s and Manatsu’s mottos into her own. The lead Cures during the Portals Sequence all being like “yeah we don’t really know what’s going on here but we’ve all been in an All Stars movie or several before, we can handle this, sure.” The emphasis on hand-holding in general, particularly that FLASH of the battle they lost and Precious that Sora gets the first time she takes Yui’s hand and the vaguer one for Manatsu’s. And in a “this amused me” way, the way everyone getting lined up for the battle before the Requisite Explosion Jump is just them floating in space like a bunch of dolls on invisible shelves because it’s the only way to manage this all, there’s like 80 of them, it is SO MANY PRECURE.
So yeah, solid movie, I enjoyed it greatly. Probably gonna give it a minute until I finally watch the Healin’ Good one.

Sagume Kishin:
Sagume Kishin is based on Ame-no-sagume, the goddess thought to be the mother of all amanojaku. Though, she's also a high-ranking figure among the Lunarians, being another of the Lunar Sages as Eirin was.
Oh, and she's a goddess specifically. Touhou Project usually uses the word "kami", which is gender-neutral, but the English word "goddess" is used for her.
She has the superpower to "reverse a situation with her words". It might be best explained this way: have you ever watched or read a work of fiction where someone says "what's the worst that could happen?" only for the absolute worst possible thing to happen? That's her ability. Her saying that something is the case will cause it to not be the case. It might be the natural extent of how amanojaku lie so much: she literally can't tell the truth because anything she says will soon become a lie. This ability is an incredibly powerful one, with no apparent weaknesses. She could hypothetically bend all of reality to her whim if she said the right things.
Sagume Kishin is the true mastermind behind the events of Touhou 14.5: Urban Legend in Limbo. She caused the Urban Legend incident and manipulated Sumireko into spreading it. She successfully "poisoned the tree at the roots", permanently altering Gensokyo into a land where anything can happen if people believe it will. She did this to allow the Lunarians to break into Gensokyo and take the place over.
This was not an act of greed, but instead one of desperation: the Lunarians had been forced out of their Lunar Capital by an invading army straight out of Hell itself, led by a long-time enemy of the Lunarians.
In the meantime, Sagume asked Doremy to create a copy of the Lunar Capital in the Dream World for everyone to hide in, while she stayed behind in the real Lunar Capital to keep watch. Indeed, Sagume was so reluctant to follow through on this invasion plan, that when the protagonist faced her, she announced that the Lunarian invasion was inevitable and any resistance against it was powerless, activating her ability and solving the crisis shortly after.
She was fought as Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom's 4th boss, where she tested the strength of the protagonist to see if they could defeat the Hell army. She explained the Lunarians' predicament, and pointed them towards the game's true main villain. While most bosses in the series at least have their clothes torn a tiny bit and a few bruises after their defeat, Sagume emerged completely unscathed by the boss fight. Apparently this was because the dialogue before the fight is very short, while the dialogue afterwards is very long, so you wouldn't be able to get a good look at her.
After the incident was resolved, Sagume made repeated visits to Gensokyo in secret, where she visited Eintei to talk with Eirin about stuff.
She made another major appearance at the end of The Grimoire of Usami. As it turns out, Yukari Yakumo set up a failsafe for Shinmyoumaru's little violent party. While Yukari did approve of it, as "you can't really have fun without the smell of death around", she also realized Reimu and her incident resolving friends couldn't keep the youkai at bay forever. So, she pulled a favor in from Eirin to contact Sagume and invite her over to the festival. Sagume didn't show up until the very end, after almost everyone had gone.
Sagume knew immediately why she was sent there, and announced to the audience and all participants that they could go wild as long as they liked! Sure enough, Shinmyoumaru entered the stage as the "final boss" immediately afterwards, at which point Reimu confronted her and showed her the error of her ways. Oh, and Seija Kijin was so excited by her great-great-great-grandma showing up that she promised that she would be in it for the long haul with Shinmyoumaru, since clearly the Inchling knew how to have a good time.
Still, who exactly was Sagume was unknown to the audience, who would probably snap if they knew a Lunarian could so easily enter Gensokyo, or that she was responsible for the near annihilation of Gensokyo. Sumireko in particular thought Sagume was another Chunnibyou teenager like herself, based on her outfit and mannerisms.
Speaking of, you'd think Yukari Yakumo would be mad at Sagume for almost laying waste to all of Gensokyo, since she founded it and all, but it seems Yukari is actually more impressed than anything. She thinks Sagume's superpower is an awfully convenient one, and thanks her for allowing Gensokyo to evolve in such a way.
Sagume's personality appears to be cold and aloof. Due to her abilities, she's usually borderline mute, being incredibly careful when and how she speaks. While it seems she was against the Lunarian invasion of Gensokyo enough to plan a backdoor out of it, she also appears to have the typical Lunarian feeling of superiority over the "impure Earthlings". Reisen Udongein Inaba still respects her enough to follow her orders without question, despite claiming to be an Earth rabbit now. Eirin and Kaguya also appear to be on good terms with Sagume, enough to scare people into thinking they plan on betraying Gensokyo to the Lunarians.
Either way, we've never actually seen a "normal" Lunarian up to this point, unlike, for example, how pretty much every kappa is a Nitori clone. They'll probably continue to be faceless bureaucrats well into the future.
In combat, Sagume doesn't do much on her own. She mostly summons these Yin-Yang orb enemies to shoot danmaku for her. Apparently they're Impurity Detection Drones. She only attacks directly in her last spellcard: "One-Winged White Heron" where she creates lots of yellow beams of light from her single wing.
Speaking of, the one wing on her back is meant to reveal she's actually only half-Lunarian. She's half heavenly god, half earthly god.

Hm.. trying to give you one that others maybe haven't. Yukari for the ask game perhaps?
Yukari!!!
favorite thing about them: she's so human... she's got a lot of faults but she's also kind(this is weak I'm sorry...... i do love her....)
least favorite thing about them: uhhhh..... in her christmas eve date at the end she says that Junpei's probably spending it alone. Come on his girlfriend died that's just mean.
favorite line: that one from before the Erebus fight uhhh.... the only thing that seperates life from stillness... is that we die. That's it. When the pain of life gets too much... the thought of death can be kind of comforting, actually. (I'm sorry this is of the top of my head it might be wrong.... I do love this quote though. Worth mentioning that after Aigis says that the meaning of life is also friendship then they go share a dorm.....) Yukari has a lot of good Answer lines I could have put them all here.
brOTP: Love her relationship with Fuuka, especially with how Reload adds the scene where they ask to call each other by their firat names. She's also the one to give her the full recording of her dad.... guh Aigis too Akihiko's everyone's bro so is Junpei LOVE her frienship route in Reload she's got good interactions with everyone
OTP: yukamitsu come on
nOTP: JUNPEI.....
random headcanon: she's strong. She's an archer.
unpopular opinion: HER FRIENDSHIP ROUTE IS BETTER THAN HER ROMANCE ROUTE. I actually have a draft saying this with a comparison of her March dialogue. It's so nice.... she tells him to rely on her like how she relys on him....
favorite picture of them: promotional art for movies 2 and 4 but this is cheating everyone's here
I'm on mobile it doesn't like me but for the release of movie 2 p3m.jp released art every day. The wayback machine didn't get all of it but there's a storyboard for 1 on 24th jan 2014. There's also a really silly looking one 4th feb 2014.
This screenshot's funny
Her victory pose from original is cute... she does it in arena too
Speaking of arena
Sorry
#p3#im so sorry for how little i had to say about favourite bits i hope brotp makes up for it i do love her

@epitomees sent: 💋 (For one robot maiden please~)
The first 5 Asks to send 💋 get a kiss (2/5)
It was the first time he had been able to come here since the promised day. At that time, he had thought his last moments would be here. Staring up at the blue sky and surrounded by the people he loved. After that, Makoto shut his eyes and never expected to see the sky again.
But it was above him now as he sat down in the very spot he had sworn would be the place he would die. His body was so weak now and climbing the stairs had exhausted him. Though, it wasn't nearly as bad as that day. He had been so tired then.
He struggled to catch his breath. While Makoto was still on leave from school, it was nice to see it again. This place held so many memories for him and he actually wanted to start going back. Even if his time was limited and he didn't know when it would be over. He had even been getting notes from Fuuka and Yukari so he could keep up with lessons.
Despite sitting down, the world seemed to spin for a moment and he started to fall. Only to be caught by his companion. Aigis' worried gaze was more beautiful than the sky, and Makoto smiles softly despite how ill he felt.
"Do you remember...?" He asks quietly, adjusting himself more steadily on the seat to prevent him from having that happen again. He gently takes her hand in his and tugs on it to get her to sit beside him. "This is where you first... Told me how you felt about me."
Feelings that had been blossoming inside of him for a long time. There was no rhyme or reason. He couldn't think of a reason why he started to love Aigis the way he had... But he did. And every extra moment they got to spend together was a blessing to him.
His smile fades. There is... so much guilt. He knew this must take a lot out of her. The uncertainty. The fact that she had to take care of him so much. It was cruel for him to stick around, huh? Sometimes he wondered that... If it would be a relief when he finally died.
"I worry sometimes that I'm making things harder for everyone... You especially." He confesses. "I love you, Aigis. Every extra moment we get to share is... worth every bit of pain to me." And his existence was full of pain and misery. But it was worth it.
His fingers trace her cheek softly, he looks into her eyes. For a moment, his own grey eyes are painted with melancholy. Love, sure, but also sorrow and guilt.
Slowly, he moves closer. Lips touching hers as if she is so delicate. As if he is afraid of breaking her. He doesn't push or kiss her deeply. It is simple and uncertain. He doesn't know if he is being kind or cruel to her with his love.
And when his lips part from hers, they linger close by. His heart feels heavy. "I don't want... to hold you back." He says quietly. "You're special to me, Aigis." His fingers tangle in the fabric of her jacket as he grips it with a trembling hand.
"Are you... happy with things like this....?" He loves her so much. But he didn't know how to love or be loved. He didn't know if he was doing it right.
#˗ˏˋ ic. ⟶ ❛ done and dusted ❜#˗ˏˋ answers. ⟶ ❛ i’ll wait to see you again ❜#epitomees#꒰ ♡ ꒱ epitomees/aigis. ╱ i will love you with every single thing i have ◞#∗ —— ❝ post. 》 the day after

I saw that you make content for the Personas and I HAD to follow!
Small question, but how do you think the Personas would address their masters? I've been thinking about that, and I think Io and Lucia would refer to their masters as "Lady Yukari/Fuuka", while Penthelesia would call Mitsuru "The Mistress". That's all I have so far, but it's fun to think about!
Thank you! Ironically i draw the personas more often than their users, unless your name is akechi and sumire 🤣 but monsters are sooo cool!!! I wish there was more persona content with the actual personas more!
I imagine every persona calls their user “the other me” or their arcana or “thou art I” for the jokes, but they probably just say their first name without honorifics. I imagine there are some exceptions, though i am wondering what the personas would address the OTHER party members?
Zorro absolutely calls Ann, “Lady Ann” , otherwise he probably just says everyone’s name without the honorifics. He calls Morgana a cat sometimes, much to Morgana’s dismay.
Io calls Junpei “Stupei” sometimes and Junpei is absolutely ready to fight her but unfortunately he and his persona is weak to wind…
Cerebus is the only persona who can’t talk, in human speech, he just barks like Koromaru. Aigis can understand him though, but there isn’t much Cerebus actually says, but he calls everyone’s name very nicely.
Loki and Robin Hood call Akechi by… Akechi, not his first name. This is because Akechi distanced himself so much from his first name, to even to introducing himself as just “Akechi” to people, which also lines up that the game only refers him as such. Its similar to Mishima, who never goes by his first name. Loki and Robin Hood haven’t said “Goro” in a long time… I also imagine they never call the persona 5 cast as anything but their code names (Ryuji is refered to as skull, etc)
Cendrillon used to exclusively call Sumire, “Kasumi” before 3rd semester. After that though, she always said Sumire, though she sometimes call Sumire soot-coated garbage, because somewhere inside Sumire’s heart, she still hates herself… Cendrillon sometimes calls Akechi “ruthless sorta person” which he is amused by. She also calls everyone senpai due to Sumire’s influence and everyone is a little weirded out by it because how can you be a senpai to a persona???
Jiraiya is the few who gives nicknames to everyone, but he calls Yu and Izanagi “Partner”, otherwise the others get the nicknames Yusuke gives
The protags personas, they call the protagonist “You” or “Me” most of the time, rarely by their name. They refer everyone else by how the game does in dialogue (not out loud though that would be embarrassing)
Kintoki-Douji never uses honorifics, and uses first names, like Teddie. The other personas kinda dig at him for not “being respectful” but he doesn’t understand why you can’t call people by their first name if you’re friends and besties
Castor refers Akihiko as Aki, and Polydeuces call Shijiro as Shinji. They both call Mitsuru as Mistu to not leave out Pentheselia lol. Mitsuru is alittle taken aback by it but appreciates it.
Apollo refers Katsuya as his brother sometimes, and vise versa with Helios/Hyperion to Tatsuya
Most of them otherwise call everyone the same way their user does, though i imagine they might give unhinged names (a title, a nickname, an insult, no honorifics, maybe something different altogether) as that is the nature of personas, but not many times, but you never know!

Character-by-character retrospective on Kirakira, since I have a lot of different thoughts and didn't end up liveblogging most of them:
Ichika started out seeming like a character I wouldn't like much, but she really grew on me throughout the season. Lot of Usagi vibes, which, based on her bunny association, seems to have been intentional.
Himari is wonderful. Seeing her being autistic about cooking was the first thing that got me really invested in the season, and she stayed great throughout.
Aoi is fun, but her stories always felt kind of weak and hard to get invested in. More than anyone else, I have to wonder how the hell she finds the time for everything. She's got school, her whole family stuff, her band, AND being a superhero who works at a bakery. Even accounting for cartoon logic, it feels like a bit much.
Yukari is fucking wild. She has so many schemes, and they keep working even when they involve going behind all of her teammates' backs. She's in some ways the most distinctive and fascinating Precure I've seen - but she still feels kind of underexplored.
The implied relationship between Yukari and Akira ended up feeling very strange because Yukari holds everyone at such a distance, Akira included. It seems like any relationship there wouldn't be a great one, and the flash-forwards suggest the two of them never really get any closer. There are a lot of other subtextual Precure relationships I've found more compelling - in particular Ruru and Emiru, right afterward in Hugtto.
Akira, like Yukari, is a lot of fun regardless. I've been tending to read Akira as some flavor of transmasc, but either way, a butch Precure is cool to see. That said, I did not particularly like Akira's episodes. They tended to focus on Miku, and the weird handling of her non-specific illness got tiring fast. Also I still say the most interesting partner for Akira is Ichika.
Ciel is... fine? She has some fun moments with Ichika and Vibry, but not much more than that. Seems like Rio would have made for a more interesting sixth Precure, or Vibry for that matter.
Speaking of villains, Grave had his moments but there were some Not Great implications there. Elisio was fun though. Noir is a fuckboy.

The Main Thing Is that Amais can do make people see what He desires and Make them confront their biggest weakness ,Greatest Fears , Deepest Regrets, Biggest Dream or Painful Memory
———
Character Summary (Backstory)
Amais is a Weird Kid , He’s Smart though he’s abit too Curious about everything, Generally Free spirited , He has a Sense of Whimsy and Fanciful air About him. Amais should be hard to not Recognize but, Second years often Say he Just appears in front of him and Unlike Shu who’s Prescence could be Spotted by Having a Keen ear and Eye , Amais seems to lack a Presence .
Amais seems to Dislike his involuntary Mind reading ability as He and His brother were Disliked by Many for this reason .Even now in NRC a lot of Students. Avoid him since alot of them are Troublemakers and don’t want to be Told on. Amais Actually finds the Process of Mind reading Exhausting and Depressing .
Amais is Kinda Smug and Mischievous liking to join anything that looks “Fun” and is more Zany than you Think even when his Eye isn’t closed .
However Amais is a Friendly kid as long as you don’t make him Mad cause he is deceptively strong . He often liken himself to a imaginary friend .
Triva/ Desgin thought
Just like in KKHTA , Those Tendrils are actually Tentacles he can Freely move around.
Fishing thing is also a KKHTA as all the Fucked up stuff that happened started because Koishi needed a Fishing rod .
The Interest in Kaiju is also a KKHTA reference but that gets into big Spoiler Territory but it Sad when Especially when You know these Characters didn’t Deserve their Fate especially Yukari , Reimu/Marisa and Flandre .
I forgot that Koishi In KKHTA had Grey Hair .
Also Forgot to include the Torn up Black cloth on Terrovania’s Uniform It’s Supposed to be a bow on his Back.
Satori in Japanese mythology are strange, intelligent ape-men found in the mountains of Gifu prefecture. Jack and the Cuckoo-Clock Heart AU please? Nagare as Jack, Iwa-san as Madeleine, Fem!Shiro as Miss Acacia, Colorless King as Joe, and Yukari as Georges °^°
So imagine tiny child Hisui, who is born on the coldest day ever with a frozen heart. His parents choose to just abandon him, handing him off to a wandering drunken priest Iwafune. Iwafune thinks it’s pretty poor of those parents to just give up on the kid, especially when they could just replace the heart with something even better. Iwafune happens to be the caretaker of a particular magic rock and he places it into little Hisui’s chest but warns him that he has to follow a couple rules so that the Slate in his heart doesn’t get destabilized and kill not just Hisui but everyone around him. The number one thing he must never do is fall in love and Hisui thinks that’s fine, he’s not particularly interested in love anyway.
Iwafune proceeds to raise Hisui as his own, maybe because of the Slate in his heart Hisui is still kinda weak and sickly and is often wrapped up like a burrito child. Iwafune does want the kid to have something of a normal life though and he decides to send Hisui to school eventually, allowing Hisui some time to actually move around on his own and get out of the basement where Hisui’s been living with his drunken dad and their pet bird. As soon as he starts school Hisui meets Fem!Shiro, the smartest kid in school with a big interest in science. Hisui totally wants senpai Shiro to notice him so he starts watching her in secret because he’s too shy to say anything. However another student, Colorless, also has an eye on Shiro and wants to get closer to her in order to take all Shiro’s accomplishments for himself.
One day Hisui attempts to intervene with Colorless’s attempts on Shiro (because only Hisui gets to stalk her okay) and he accidentally ends up emitting some lightning due to the magic Slate in his heart. Shiro isn’t scared of this but instead is more intrigued and wants to study him under a microscope. Unfortunately Iwafune becomes worried that magistrate Kokujouji will find out about this, Kokujouji originally owned the Slate and if he knows there’s a kid around with that as his heart Hisui will be in trouble. They decide Hisui should flee the country, Iwafune sending him off on his own. Hisui eventually meets Yukari, who thinks the Slate in Hisui’s heart is beautiful and who encourages him to make that beauty even brighter by seeking love.
Hisui decides to go find Shiro again, initially disguising himself by dyeing his hair and pretending to be a mysterious white-haired stranger. Shiro has enough of white-haired doomed anime boys though and just says her heart belongs to someone else. Eventually Hisui realizes that the person from her past that Shiro is in love with is in fact himself and he reveals himself. He tells her about the Slate in his heart, giving her some schematics which explain all about it. He wants to run away with her but Colorless finds out about the whole thing, he’s been watching them all this time still trying to get to Shiro. Shiro ends up leaving Hisui behind because she doesn’t want Hisui to die due to her loving him and Hisui is all distraught, especially when he finds out that Iwafune died after helping him escape as well. With nothing else to live for Hisui figures he’ll just let the Slate destroy everything and be done with it, which is when Shiro appears again to confess that she’s been aware of his affections all this time and cares for him. She thinks she can fix the Slate in his heart with the schematics he gave her but actually those just allow Hisui to finally destroy his heart completely and he dies holding her hand.
#Nagashiro#Talking K#Hisui travels the world with only his parrot and his slate heart#until he meets a strange purple man who inspires him to love again#sorry Shiro this is a tragic story you should fit right in

The Answer-P3R Part. 1
If you read my original write up, you'll know I have no love lost for The Answer (Or 3 as a whole).
Was the opening in the og?
Once again, Fuuka hits the nail on the head within 10 mins.
Giant ass key thing.
Why does the wall look like glass?
How do we already know Metis's name? She didn't introduce herself yet.
Butterfly wings.
Ken's ass should be through that wall.
Igor's still fucking creepy.
Yukari, ever the bitch. 😡😡
That armour still looks like shit.
Groundhog Day.
😔😔Yukari you were never the leader. You've always had to take orders.
Fuuka goes straight to "we're going to starve". 🤣🤣
The Time Abyss music reminds me of PMD. Also a bit of Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology.
I forget how many good parts Junpei gets.
Why do they have so much armour?
Did they take away some of Aigis's spoken lines?
Makoto's door is glowing.
That's not a shadow, that's a pile of molten lava.
Pinch encounter? Why are they using the JP term?
The shadows have ears?
So does the bullets bank off stuff?
Did Aigis always Nauoto run? Let's jump into that giant pit of boiling lava.
The whole sister thing has to be written by an only child. Most siblings aren't like that.
Why does it look like they're in Okamura's palace?
Koromaru's vest has a little heart on the back. ❤❤
I forgot how many battles there are.
I like the new scenes.
Why do they do that weird jumping thing when they smash a statue?
I like how it says indeterminate for the date. The game gives you the exact day, month and year that Ken's mom died. Which begs the question, who the fuck is Ken living with? Seeing as he was 8 when his mom died.
Also, Shinji lost control right in front of their house?
That sword is bigger than Junpei.
Speaking of Junpei, when did he get so big and tall? I thought Akihiko was bigger and taller.
No, Yukari don't antagonize the shadow while we're escaping.
I hate Treasure Hand.
Give me a Treasure Demon any day of the week. At least I can beat Treasure Demons easily.
Mossy castle.
What are those purple bubbly things?
What is that thing that looks like a pottery wheel?
Why do they look like they're 12?
Damn, girl he asked you if you want to watch a DVD. Not take a dip in a vat of acid.
Why does the item icon look like a carton of milk?
Aigis has a sniper rifle on her arm.
I hate insta kill spells.
I always wondered if Aigis's hair was real or not.
The Abyss Of Time has random stuff in it. I wonder where it comes from. Like why is it there? Do the shadows get bored and need something to read? Do they even have TVs and cable there?
Yukari has a cute nose.
Elizabeth powers up your Therergy?
That run though objects power works well.
Now if only we had Ryuji's R. 7/8 ability.
I like how Junpei counts the floors
When you run through enemies, shadow guts should go everywhere. I love Junpei's panic? face. 🤣🤣
Metis has no weaknesses?
I like how they toned down how shiny Horus is.
"Junpei smash". 🤣🤣

Modern Chen AU time!
Name: Chen Mineko
Age: 15
Birthday: September 13th
Height: 4'11" (149cm)
Weight: 103lbs (47kg)
Gender: Female
Occupation: High School Freshman/Mechanic
Appearance: Messy, mid-length brown hair, honey brown eyes, pink cheeks, pale skin, a fairly slim and slight body.
Clothing: For school, she usually wears a white button shirt and opts to wear the pants, although the faculty have tried (and failed) to subtly suggest she wear a skirt instead. She also has a sweater for cold days, although it quite often just ends up tied around her waist. For warmer days and Summer, she'll often swap out the button shirt for a polo shirt.
When it comes to casual clothing, she tends to go for t-shirts and worn dunagrees, although, due to her hobbies, she has taken to wearing some of her older clothing the she wouldn't miss were they too dirty to clean.
Personality: At school, Chen is a bit shy and withdrawn. She is friendly if someone approaches her but she mostly keeps to herself, since her interests do not really match up with her peers. She is making an attempt to get into watching some VTubers though.
When she's at the car shop, she's a lot more talkative, even if she is just talking to herself or the car she's working on. It's clearly an environment that she feels relaxed and confident in, and she can often be seen talking to customers or Ran or Yukari happily, although she does have to assure the customers that she is only an assistant mechanic and does not do any of the big jobs on her own, due to her age.
Skills: Chen is not the top of the class, but that is more down to the subjects not really interesting her too much. She is bright and still manages to get Bs for most of her grades, and even the odd A here and there, but it's pretty clear when she feels stressed or unhappy because her grades will drop to Cs and Ds.
She also has a natural skill for mechanic work, her mind seeming to be geared towards how machines like cars work, surprising both Ran and Yukari with how quickly she picked up concepts. She's also gained a fair bit of muscle around her core and her arms due to her mechanic work, from using a lot of elbow grease with some of the tougher cars.
She also knows how computers work, knowing how to make programs work even if she doesn't completely understand them. She says it's mostly luck though.
Likes: Chen tends to enjoy mechanic work, finding it fascinating how machines like cars are put together, how they work, and how to fix them when something goes wrong. Outside of machines, she does like fast food and take-outs, has some interest in video games and is developing an interest in Vtubing, even considering getting some of the gear together and giving it a go herself.
Dislikes: Chen dislikes school work for the most part. She does have a few lessons she likes, but does have too much patience with other subjects, especially now, in high school, they're getting more difficult.
She also dislikes being told that she cannot do something, like when her parents, early on, tried to forbid her from hanging out around the Yakumo mechanics, mainly because they did not know them, but eventually they realised that it would be easier and would stop Chen trying to sneak out if they just met the mechanics themselves and talked things out a little.
Chen also has some skill in archery and fencing, although she doesn't really have too much interest in joining a club for those activities.
Strengths: Chen's mind is geared towards machines and how they work, and she seems to be a natural with computers and basic programming as well, seeming to have a natural understanding of the basic rules of them. When she was asked how she knew, she said that it just seemed to make sense to her and that she got lucky.
Weaknesses: Chen can be impatient, even with important things, which can occasionally lead to slapdash schoolwork, although she usually does manage to scrape by with decent grades. She also dislikes feeling restricted, even if she does agree with the idea that restrictions breed creativity in quite a few cases. She doesn't mind it as much in mechanic work, if she's told not to use a specific tool for a car, she will adapt.
#I HAVE FINALLY COMPLETED THE MODERN!AU FOR CHEN#WITNESS MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE#out of catnip#:3#I might have to play around with her weight because compared to her original weight#i gave her like 5lbs of muscle because I didn't wanna give her too much#i didn't want the muscles to be too noticable around her core and arms#but they still need to be there because mechanic work is physical stuff#BUT YE
