WHO iS POiSON GiRL FRiEND

Born as Noriko Sekiguchi in Tokyo and raised in Brazil and educated in French schools, Sekiguchi took an interest on U.S house music that was on the rise during the mid 1980s. After attempting this style, she moved back to Tokyo and brought this genre to Japan. Sekiguchi began DJing her house music in Japanese clubs.

The POiSON GiRL FRiEND project consisted of music genres varying from house, breakbeat, techno, & electronica. You can support her music by listening to her on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

POiSON GiRL FRiEND has done a big impact for Japanese house music cutlure. She continues to influence Japan even now- even though she has hidden from the public eye for a few years. People in the house scene of both New York and Japan will continue to remember her impact for years to come.

SHIROBAKO Movie Blu-Ray Will Feature New Art and Audio Drama

  Starting in January, fans in Japan can bring home the SHIROBAKO movie—either as a standard release, or as a deluxe edition featuring all sorts of extras fans will love!

  The deluxe edition arrives in an elaborate Digipak featuring new art by character designer and chief animation director Kanami Sekiguchi, key animator and "Exodus" character designer Noriko Morishima, and original designer/illustrator Ponkan⑧.

  Also included will be a CD with the film's soundtrack and insert songs, a new audio drama, and a booklet. Digital extras include newly-recorded videos from the cast, a collection of PVs and CMs, and audio commentary.

      SHIROBAKO premiered in 2014, and followed a group of anime-loving college friends as they broke into different fields in the anime industry as adults. This year's film presented them with a new challenge: appropriately enough, making a film.

  The SHIROBAKO TV series is licensed by HIDIVE, and can be purchased on DVD and Blu-ray from Sentai Filmworks. No announcements have yet been made concerning an English-language home video release of the film.
