Once Upon Noranian.

I was twelve years old when I started to wonder the pile of papers and other stuffs in our cabinet. It was an old and dusty, maybe a years older than me. I asked my Mom about those stuff but she instead told me to stay away from those things and go outside to play but at the age of twelve I am already stubborn kid, so I went to the cabinet and took all those paper out, my mom went out to the market that time so I have a chance to sneak but I only have minimal time and I need to know what are those stuff before she comes back.

It was a sets of memorabilia stick to a white papers, all those stuffs were pictures, news and updates about a girl named Nora Aunor. I started to checked it one by one, gently holding the pages so I won't damage anything. It was a collection of a fan who really adores Nora so well. She has this dedication in compiling all those important stuffs about her, cut out pictures from a magazine, news and stories from a newspaper, she even had a picture with Nora. I started to looked closely to the picture and realized that it was my Mom. She was the fan, the dedicated one. I looked back to the cabinet and saw other stuff that involves Nora. Posters, tapes, t-shirts, magazines, and other things. I am amazed that someone has such great dedication to collect all those things, I was amazed with my Mom but I wondered why did she kept all those things inside the cabinet instead of displaying it ? Why did she tell me to stay away from those things?. Those questions was playing inside my head as I clean those stuffs back to the cabinet and suddenly I heard something.

My Mom entered the room in shocked, she saw me holding those papers. Her eyes was in the mood of deciphering something inside her head she can't. She looked at me and then suddenly she smiled. I told her that I am sorry but she just walked near me and then hugged me. She kissed me in the forehead and helped to clean all those stuff. I can't understand why she didn't get mad at me even I did a wrong thing to her that she told me not to do. We went to the kitchen, she was preparing something to eat.

"Why did you kept all those things away?" I asked.

"Because I have to, I need to be more responsible" she answered.

"Why?, I know there is a better explanation" I asked again.

"Because I chose your Dad to be my husband, because I chose myself to be a Mom and because I chose you and your bothers to be my little angels" she answered.

I just smiled.
