i have seen this regarding like suicide, drunk driving, alcoholism... its ok to have your limits but lets not pretend there is a universal truth here. the same person who rbs a joke to the effect of "kms in front of a couple to change their lives" will say "you guys have clearly never loved an alcoholic or you wouldn't be making drunk driving jokes. it's so sick" without a shred of awareness

this is not imagining a person to get mad at, this is a literal thing i have seen.

i am a tasteless humor enjoyer lol so i'm not wagging a matronly finger here. but yes if you rb the drunk driver posts and the ketamine posts, or whatever, i do not think you have a great leg to stand on when you pretend that, clearly, the suicide jokes are too far. cultivate your own experience and move on
