This is a question that has been plaguing my mind ever since you started this whole manwhore Wu thing that I desperately need answered; was Wu still a manwhore while he was raising Morro?? Like did Morro just have multiple different parents every other week at some point?? Because the only thing that exists in my head is Morro, oblivious to the fact that his father’s a whore, telling the Ninja about this and them debating wether or not they should tell him and who should tell him. I NEED this to be answered please

To answer your cursed thought: yes, he was STILL a whore while he adopted Morro. In my fic TAGOMJTR, there's a snippet of Morro and Wu going to Stiix during one of his journeys and Morro had spotted Wu flirting with a waiter. Or was it a diner too? Anyways Morro visibly cringes or is exasperated with Wu's art of being a manwhore that he wilfully ignores that fact.

Most of Wu's lovers come and go, but they usually try and get on Morro's good side for extra plus points from Wu. He dislikes people who go out their way to be overly affectionate, while also disliking and being cautious around people who are very hostile to children. The most notable one was Itsuki, aka the aforementioned brother of Misako. Morro was the reason why their relationship burst into flames, mostly because Itsuki has a rather unhealthy hatred for children.

Morro was more fond of seeing Wu find happiness in other people than seeing him and the person he was with start arguing and just fighting. He's had enough about people fighting but he can't really control it.

Fast forward like when he meets the ninja, alternate reason why Morro is so shocked to see his sensei old and wrinkly: he won't get bitches anymore

Yes the ninja don't know anything about his manwhore past. But they do see the way a lot of old people kept glaring at Wu whenever he passes by. Morro just low-key confirmed it.

My take is:

Short short version: it’s funny

Short version:

Garmadon is actually able to hold a relationship for more than a week, and wouldn’t keep seeking out romance like that bc the venom makes it difficult to form attachment (so when he does he’s completely devoted).

Meanwhile wu is a lonely guy who keeps getting stuck in passionate yet temporary connections which all end up wrong. Like it’s inspired by how he keeps losing all his friends (like the time twins or aspheera).

Also it’s funny bc you don’t expect it considering Garmadon dresses like the part

Yeah I was also thinking while writing my tidbit that the tea was poisoned with something that blocks a LOT of their memories. Just makes it worse for Garmadon and Nya ig, especially with Kai

Yes yes yes we are brain waving!! That’s why wu told kai he wouldn’t remember anything. Bc it seems like wu just regularly gives the guys tea bc they could leave at any moment, but it would be bad if the guys remembered being poisoned every night yknow? Wu uses it to keep control of the ninja, and prevent any of them from ever leaving like the ninja before them

Goddd what if Lloyd has almost zero memories of Garmadon bc wu erased them? Ahhhh.

But also does the tea work on Zane?? It might but another equally sad option is that Zane knows and remembers everything since wu found him but since wu is the closest thing zane has for family, Zane is willing to look past the bad things wu does to keep him close.

Also wu is so much more vicious than Garmadon ever was in canon bc Garmadon was originally always more moral than wu was, so when wu went bad he went hard.

Also in this version, the tea is connected to the venom meaning, it’s instilling a little bit of evil into the ninja also. So that’s fun

Annnd wu also drinks the tea, in smaller doses, simply bc he’s addicted to forgetting all his painful memories. This does mean he’s just gotten more and more evil

May I also interject with my own hc that Morro has a warped idea of romance since Wu was one of his only sources of socialisation. So he’s basically normalised to Wu’s shenanigans and thinks that’s just what old men do. And Wu once explained it as a “mission tactic” and combined with Morro’s obsession with being a warrior and a hero, Morro views it as some sort of ninja wisdom skill.

So if the ninja ever asked Morro, he’d just go:

Citrusshipping headcannons because I love this ship and I wish there was more content of it so Imma make more content of it probably

Morro is not at all used to people caring about him or caring about other people so I decided to pair him up with the nindroid who cares a lot about people

Both Morro and Echo are touched starved but it’s more noticeable with Morro. He’ll immediately see Echo hugging him, holding his hand or anything related to physically affection as an attack of some kind and then proceeds to actually melt once Echo manages to touch him

Morro’s heart and mind were always in a fight whenever it came to people and Echo is no exception. His mind will identify Echo as an enemy while his heart, something that has only be active a few times, says he’s a friend

Echo had and still has a crush on Morro. What I mean by this is that Echo will gush about Morro like he’s a high school crush despite being together for a few months already

Echo is amazing at making music boxes, trinkets and basically anything and he uses all of these skills to give gifts to everyone, mainly Morro

Morro has learned that the only reliable person for romantic advice is Misako and her first piece of advice was to not take any advice from Wu

When he asked why, Misako gripped his shoulders, looked him dead in the eye with a caring, sincere smile and said and said “Your father’s a whore, sweetie.” Those words gave Morro more trauma than anything he went through in the Cursed Realm

Echo and Morro have movie nights together where they don’t really watch the movie and just talk or sleep throughout. Morro has a hundred and one questions about the movie too and Echo answer

If Morro’s hair looks nice for once, Echo did it. He does Morro’s hair because all Morro does is tornado it in a bun and Echo decides to fix it up

Kai 🤝 Lloyd 🤝 jay 🤝 Nya in the the “wu won’t stop flirting with my parents” squad.

Cole’s just laughing at the ninja bc he knows wu never acted like that to his parents bc they were a lot younger than wu, before he double takes as wu mentions about Cole’s hot grandfather…

Also Zane is desperatelytrying to delete the memories of wu casually flirting with dr Julien, once when Wu visited zane before he became a ninja, and then also at the lighthouse when they found out dr Julien was alive.

Literally, Garmadon wants to take over Ninjago but he has to wait for wu to break up with his evil boyfriend and stop destroying Ninjago. After all, Garmadon can’t conquer Ninjago if Wu destroys it first

Garmadon: Wu! Mom said it’s my turn to terrorise Ninjago!

I think the best thing about this fanseason being Kai centric, is that Kai also has strong manwhore energy. He’s just a huge hypocrite the entire season. Can’t believe this.

Damn the mailman should’ve done what everyone else was doing and start a villain arc in the aim of getting wu’s attention. That’s what I imagine Krux and Acronix did. They were perfectly civilised guys until they heard what wu’s type was and immediately decided to break out the eyeshadow and war crimes.

You have convinced me that Wu's a manwhore. I seen people make Garmadon the manwhore, but it's more hilarious with Wu. The FSM would get a headache whenever Wu brings a guy home.

I mean... it's true, right? I just think Garmadon is socially awkward or bad at maintaining romantic relationships because of the venom and him only being perceived as charismatic. Wu on the other hand has a different problem, while I think he's a little socially incumbent (not as good as Garmadon when it comes to speaking about his feelings or, you know, INFORMATION) he's good with people. He's good with making people fall for him. That's how good he was.

However, for me personally, Garmadon may have few relationships far in-between, but the way it ends was peaceful, with neither side holding a grudge or some depression. Wu, in the meanwhile, his relationships would start REALLY good... and then it comes crashing and burning down when his love either suggest something he didn't want to commit in or he's starting to overthink the entirety of his relationship.

But yeah, FSM would get so mad and exasperated that his youngest son brings tons of his girlfriends/boyfriends/partners home. Thanks to how bad Wu can't hold down a relationship he brings a different person home every week or so.

I just like the personal gag that the ninjas, along with Wu, encounter one of his exes. It's funny to imagine.
