We might be thinking about this live-action thing the wrong way.. what if it's one of those CGI hybrid movies where characters get transported into the real world and have to team up with a normal guy

The year is 2028. You're watching the live action lego ninjago movie in the theatre.

After a harrowing battle in which Lloyd; played by a white 25 yr old with blond hair and blue eyes, shot a streak of green light at his nemesis, Evil Lord, who shot back a streak of light exactly the same but it was red from the opposite end of a parking lot, the ninja have realised the only chance they have of saving ninjago, is to draw their enemy away to another realm, leaving the citizens of ninjago city safe, but themselves in mortal peril.

They jump through a portal, carrying only the clothes on their backs, which are black, featureless gi crossed the wrong way at the front. Nya's has a boob window. They are quickly followed by Evil Lord. This is an obvious set up for a sequel that will, following absymal ratings, never be made.

As the end title starts to play, the voice of Chris Pratt (the up and coming actor the writers took a chance on) blares over the speaker system. Pratt is playing Wu, who was of course killed in the first act by Evil Lord to establish traumatic backstory for Lloyd. Pratt's voice holds the emotion of someone who is being held at gunpoint and yet does not care whether he lives or dies.

'So, after all, the battles, the turmoil..the friends they made along the way.....I guess all we can say is, those ninja? They really did have to go.'

Ykw scratch that tlnm and the Lego movie DOES take place in the same universe after all... I feel like most ppl don't really talk about this too much because tlnm is usually associated w Ninjago rather than the lego movieverse

Edit in response to a question: for how the Jiang's react, they're taken aback but realize they don't care-Ray and Maya however, did expect something special about Lloyd after seeing a glimpse of a mysterious warrior lady leaving baby Lloyd. Lloyd is their son/sibling no matter what.
