Hi, it's pancake day where I am and my friend @givemeuniversalcrossovers has been going on about some babytwo stuff so story I guess, featuring @mew-myself-and-i, lovely baby Night, the icon personification of my friend and my twos because I wanna draw them interact with Night at some point, enjoy!

Pancakes

Pancake batter quietly sizzled on a hot frying pan carefully monitored by a soft orange hued Two, the fire clicked and crackled as she threw on some extra dry wood to keep it burning. She'd been able to make this rare human treat thanks to her cloned brother, though he hadn't told her how he acquired such ingredients, she assumed through thievery. He sat on a small pile of leaves supervising the young two the colony was helping to care for, a sweet jolly little baby of blues named Night, he babbled softly reaching out and grabbing onto her brothers tail.

"ah, you got me little man," Her brother, Mattwo spoke playfully and lightly as he feigned being unable to lift his tail from the ground due to the little ones grip as they clumsily clambered up attempting to climb onto his tail babbling still. He smiled as he watched, adjusting his cloak around himself, his prosthetic limb catching the small ones eye, Night babbled softly making a reaching motion for Mattwo arm as they slipped over his tail and crawled into his lap. Mattwo cringed a bit hesitant he pulled back his cloak, he'd only seen Night at a distance he was scared to get close less his defects from the cloning process make the baby uneasy, he didn't have the effort to conjure psychic energy over his half arm to complete it and his prosthetic covered his other stump.

"You noticed this huh?" he asked softly, the sound of a pancake being flipped in the background was heard, he held his arm out for Night to see, "it's my arm, it just looks a bit different to yours and my sisters. Like how our arms are different to those human caretakers of yours, yea?" He wasn't actually sure if Night could understand him being that he was very young and wasn't even speaking yet himself. Night fidgeted with his hands slightly flexing his fingers wanting to reach and stopping.

"You can touch it's okay," Mattwo awkwardly reassured, moving his arm to offer his prosthetic palm to the young one, who slowly took one of his prosthetic fingers in both his small hands, "see? It's alright, uncle Matt just has a different arm. I was born like this, well not with the arm but missing them. But I'm getting by okay." He faintly heard "aww you an uncle wuncle?" from the two managing the pancakes.

"Shut up you," he retorted back to her as Night grabbed and patted the prosthetic arm. "hey watch it or you won't get pancakes." She warned back playfully. He glanced over to her and they'd managed to acquire, so to speak, some plates, he could see a small stack of small pancakes forming for the baby and normal sized pancakes stacks forming for the adults. Night by now had noticed Mattwos other arm and had moved to touch at the stump just above the elbow. Night looked up at him as Mattwo looked down at Night.

"abahubh?" Night asked. "Yea, I don't have that arm either, I was born that way but it's okay it doesn't hurt." he reassured moving his short arm and smiled at Night, "and, unlike some of our company-" he heard the other make an offended 'hey' knowing what he was about to say, "I can use my psychic powers," he grinned, his eyes glowed a faint blue as psychic energy formed around his stump to form an arm, the psychic energy in his eyes faded as he wiggled his psychic fingers at Night who was staring wide eyed. He lightly touched a finger to Nights nose.

"I'll let you off for no powers though, you're only teeny, and you'll probably have more powers than me"

"buahu?"

"Yea for real," Mattwo smiled, the psychic energy fading away blown away with a breeze, "takes a lot of energy though so I tend to stick with just prosthetic at the end of the day, but you're my nephew and I like you so I thought I'd show off." he grinned with teeth, the other saying "it's cause you wuuuv him because he's a baaaby and he's our nephewww and he's the cutest little baby everrrr."

"May if you keep talking like that you're gonna end up with a kid," May scoffed at that, "nah not mine, I'm an aunt through and through I'm here to spoil then safely return, or well in this case monitor till the next caretaker takes over."

As if summoned from the forestry around them the foliage rustled and from the bushes into their open clearing came what looked like a person, for the two horns that grew from her head she may have been another Mewtwo but the feathered wings and distinctly human proportions definitely meant otherwise. Neither of the older twos present really knew what she was for sure, at first Mattwo had thought it was all a costume headband horns and backpack strap wings but no they were very much real. Night cooed and wiggled babbling to the newcomer.

The human for lack of a better term waves with her fingers giving a soft "Hi!" to Night before saying more generally, "I'm baaack." in her arm she held a basket full of berries having returned from her task of berry collecting for the pancakes. Mattwo faked a gasp putting his prosthetic hand to his face.

"Reallllyy?? I never would've noticed you were back." He remarked sarcastically, earning a disgruntled expression, noise scrunched and tongue stuck out. He was sure she'd have probably flipped him off had the child not been present.

"If he inherits that sarcasm you're gonna get it," she emptily warned working with May to separate the berries into Sweet and Spicy, the spicy ones were for Mattwo having a taste for them while the rest of the sweet berries were for everyone else. Mattwo playfully fussed Night moving his tail to scoop up the escaping baby and pull him back.

"Sorry little man there's a fire, hot and sharp things over there you can see your person when she comes over." Night made an upset fussy grumble in response, clearly annoyed that he couldn't go see his other caregiver as she chopped up berries. Mattwo had to keep stopping and gently pulling back the squirming infant as they made upset mews of protest and vocalization.

"Oh my goodness gracious what is all that big fuss about," finally the human was finished wiping berry juices off onto her jeans as she came over crouching down with her arms open to Night, "Do you just have so many feelings huh? You gotta give Matt a proper piece of your mind?" Night babbled making a more happy squeal moving to be picked up into the arms of the human who stood back up Night now in her arms fluffing her wings slightly, "is that better my little darling? Is that nicer are you tired of mean old Matt bullying you yes you are you say I wanna be over hereee not over there." She continued to babytalk with Mattwo judgmentfully resting his prosthetic elbow on his knee and cheek into the palm of his hand to give a light but easy scowl.

"Are you just so excited for pancakes? Are you? Cause I am very excited for pancakes, I looove pancakes, I hope you love them too I'm sure you will, May is over there making them up especially for us all isn't she such a good egg. We gotta say thank you auntie May when we get fed."

"abu auhma" Night tried to copy, "Yea! Just like that you're so good at words." Mattwo rolled his eyes lightly, finding it slightly ridiculous but then again he was born fully developed knowing everything, maybe small twos needed more encouragement even if they weren't really saying words. He heard the sound of pans and plates glancing to see May had put the pan down away from the flames and balancing four plates along her arms rather impressively.

"Grubs up!" She announced as the human gave a soft "yay" moving to sit down on their leaf spread with her legs crossed and carefully putting Night down in front of her crossed legs so he was close but could climb back into her lap and she was able to support him if necessary. May handed out the plates, she'd attempted to make the pancakes shaped Matt thinks his might have been a pikachu, each plate also had chopped berries on to make it arguably healthy and a berry juice syrup of sorts to undo the healthiness. Nights plate was the only one that wasn't steaming but still warm, allowing him to safely start eating with his hands as he wasn't given utensils as May had already pre-cut his circular pancakes to make it easier.

"Oh this looks so yummyummy thank you May," the human commented as they carefully held their plate, immediately picking out the berries to eat first. Night babbled to copy his caregivers thanks, learning his manners. May chuckled softly, "you're both very welcome I hope it tastes very scrumptious." Somewhat greedily May started to stuff a whole pancake into her mouth, if it was shaped Mattwo couldn't tell as she stuffed it into her face hole.

"Arceus use a fork you animal," Mattwo chastised, pointing his fork slightly at Night, "don't do as she does, always cut and chew your food," May made a noise around her mouthful, "and don't talk with your mouth full." Mattwo added though it was more at his sister.

"And don't point forks at people Matthew," the human reminded as he cringed wrinkling his nose in disgust, "don't call me that that's gross." earning a soft laugh. Night meanwhile didn't really pick up on any of that conversation for putting berries chunks in his mouth with his hand and cooing at how tasty they were and chewing on the pancake slices finding them tasty because they were so sweet.

Mattwo held out a piece to his sister, "try it, it's gorgeous." and she made a no gesture with her hand, "no thank you I cannot stomach spicy foods you know this," "try it go on it's not that spicy go on promise", "no I won't I've been told that lie before," "try it or you're a scaredy meowth," "I'm never cooking for you again." The siblings bickered back and forth as May adamantly denied the spicy berry syrup covered pancake slice. The human chuckled, thankful to not be in the argument. Of course chuckling made Mattwo aware of her company once more.

"Hey you try some, since my sister is torchicken," Mattwo playfully poked and egged on, "oh no no I do not do spice either, we don't have milk I will cry." Mattwo laughed at their denial, eating the pancake saying around the food, "more for me then."

"Didnt you just say to not eat with your mouth full?" May reminded giving her brother a disappointed look as he shrugged and swallowed, "Do as I say not as I do is the saying isn't it. Like how not to catch a Pokeball with your face." He looked at the human who made a vague hand motion equivalent of hey what the hell rude why. He laughed saying "it is very funny that you just froze."

"I panicked. It's not my fault I had a hold of the baby. What was I to do? Drop him??" Mattwo chuckled slightly at the thought earning him a soft bat off May. "hey! I'm sure he would've been fine. Of course I don't want you to drop him out of a tree."

Night pawed at Mattwos leg leaving a sticky syrupy handprint as he made idle reaches for his plate, while the adults had been conversing arguing Night had decided he'd go try to get food off Mattwo since he was never offered any.

"Oh no buddy man little guy dude you're not getting any cause if you start balling they're both gonna hit me for it." May made a noise of confirmation. Night however continued to get at his plate knowing it was different and wanting to know how and why. Mattwo glanced at the girls a bit helplessly as they both gave him "don't" looks. The Mattwo however does what he likes saying to Night, "you really want some? Hows about I give you a tiny piece of berry, this one isn't too much of a spicy kind it's actually ranked as sweet and spicy."

"Matthew don't you dare." Mattwo glanced smirking playfully saying "ill let him sniff it I'm sure he'll decide he hates it," as he offered the tiny piece of sliced berry on the end of his fork for Night to sniff. Both May and the human moved to stop him however Night quickly nommed the fruit off the end of the fork before any of them could respond and Mattwo greatly regretted a lot of his life choices as he watched his life hang in the balance of the tiny twos face.

Night chewed and wrinkled his face and chewed and wiped at his cheek with his hand and chewed and made little whines before swallowing and promptly making tiny grabby hands towards Mattwos plate once more for another piece of the sweet and extra flavor berry. May gently picked the two away from her brother so he didn't receive something spicier offering him some of her pancake instead to quiet his fussing.

It seemed to thankfully distract him and as the plates were emptied and Nights sticky little face and hands wiped clean Mattwo busied himself with cleaning up the plates and utensils in a self imposed time out punishment. Though May joined him to help out, seeing as washing up with one arm can be a bit tedious and seeing as Night had not started to ball with a horrid time he was mostly forgiven. If on thin ice to be more careful in future.

The human held the tiny full two in her arms as the adults washed up, hand gently holding rubbing his back as she walked back and forth in a soft pace like the soft bounce people do with human babies to ease and coax the two to sleep. It was late now after all and she was honestly ready to call it a night herself as the two in her arms purred and cooed tail curling and feet flexing and wiggling. She smiled softly to herself.

"Goodnight Night, happy first pancake day."
